Description
硬化状態で相互浸透ネットワーク(以下、‘IPN’と称することがある)(Interpenetrating Network))構造を具現する粘着剤組成物に関するものである。
前記偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子の一面または両面に形成され、本発明に係る粘着剤組成物から形成される粘着層;を含む粘着偏光板に関するものである。
R4はシアノ;アルキルで置換または非置換されたフェニル;アセチルオキシ;またはCOR5を表す(ここで、R5はアルキルまたはアルコキシアルキルで置換または非置換されたアミノまたはグリシジルオキシを表す)。]
ゲル含量(%)=B/A×100
[式中、Aは前記粘着剤の質量を表し、Bは室温で酢酸エチルに48時間沈積後の前記粘着剤の不溶解分の乾燥質量を表す。]
<アクリル系共重合体の製造>
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易な冷却装置付き1L反応器に、n−ブチルアクリレート(n−BA)99重量部及びヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(HEA)1.0重量部を含む単量体混合物を加えた。次いで、溶剤として酢酸エチル(EAc)120重量部を加え、酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを60分間パージした。続いて、温度を60℃に保持し、反応開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.03重量部を加えた後、8時間反応した。反応後、酢酸エチル(EAc)で希釈し、固形分濃度が15重量%、重量平均分子量が1,600,000、分子量分布が4.9のアクリル系共重合体を製造した。
前記製造されたアクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、6官能アクリレート(イソシアネート変性ウレタンアクリレート;イソシアネート及びペンタエリトリトールトリアクリレートの反応物)15重量部、XDI系イソシアネート硬化剤(D110N、 三井武田社製)1.0重量部、熱開始剤としてラウリルペルオキシド2.5重量部(10時間半減期温度:64℃)及びβ−シアノアセチル基含有シラン系カップリング剤(LG Chemical Ltd.製(韓国))0.2重量部を混合し、塗工液固形分濃度が15%になるように調節することによって粘着剤組成物を製造した。
前記製造された粘着剤組成物を剥離シートとして離型処理された厚さ38ミクロンのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)( MRF−38、Mitsubisi Coropration製(日本))フィルム上に乾燥後の厚さが25ミクロンになるようにコーティングした後、135℃のオーブンで5分間乾燥した。次いで、乾燥された粘着層を約1日間、恒温恒湿室(23℃、55%RH)で保管した後、片面にWV(Wide View)液晶層がコートされた偏光板のWVコート層に、前記粘着層をラミネートした。
<粘着剤組成物の製造>
実施例1と同様の共重合体を用いて、下記表1に示された成分を混合したことを除いては、実施例1と同様にして粘着剤組成物を製造した。
製造された粘着層を約7日間、恒温恒湿室(23℃、60%RH)に放置した後、約0.3gの粘着剤をステンレス200メッシュ金網に入れた後、酢酸エチルに沈積し、室温の暗室で3日間保管した。次いで、不溶解分を分離して、70℃のオーブンで4時間乾燥し、質量を測定した後、これを用いてゲル分率を測定した。
製造された粘着偏光板を25mm×100mm(幅×長さ)の大きさに裁断してサンプルを製造し、剥離シートを除去した後、無アルカリガラスにラミネーターを利用して付着した。次いで、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理し、恒温恒湿の条件(23℃、50%RH)に24時間保管した。その後、テクスチャーアナライザー(Stable Micro System Ltd.(英国))を利用して、300mm/minの剥離速度及び180゜剥離角度の条件で粘着力を測定し、これを通じて下記基準により再剥離性を評価した。
○:1日後の粘着力が800以下
△:1日後の粘着力が1,000以上
×:1日後の粘着力が2,000以上
製造された粘着偏光板を180mm×250mm(幅×長さ)の大きさに裁断してサンプルを製造し、前記サンプルを19インチ型の市販パネルにラミネーターを利用して付着した。次いで、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理し、恒温恒湿の条件(23℃、50%RH)で24時間保管して試片を製造した。その後、製造された試片等の耐湿熱耐久性を評価するために、60℃の温度及び90%RHの相対湿度条件で500時間放置した後、気泡及び剥離の発生有無を評価した。また、耐熱耐久性は90℃及び105℃の温度で500時間放置した後、気泡及び剥離の発生有無を評価しており、試片の状態を評価する直前に室温で24時間放置した後、評価を実施した。耐湿熱及び耐熱特性の評価基準は下記の通りである。
○:気泡及び剥離現象がない
△:気泡及び/又は剥離現象がやや発生
×:気泡及び/又は剥離現象が多量発生
光透過均一性の評価は、耐久信頼性評価と同様の試片を使用して遂行した。光透過均一性を試験する方法としては、粘着層が付着された偏光板を26インチモニター(AU Optronics製(台湾))に付着し、恒温恒湿条件で1日間保管した後、80℃のオーブンで500時間放置した後、モニターの四角の4辺周辺部及び中心部の光透過均一性を評価した。光透過均一性の評価は、Spectroradiometer CS−2000(KONIKA MINOLTA製(日本))を使用して、モニター中心部を基準にして上下左右一定の間隔で輝度を測定した後、モニター中心部に対する輝度相乗比を計算して遂行した。この時、上下または左右の輝度上昇割合が大きいほど光漏れ現象が激しく発生した。
離型フィルム(厚さ:38ミクロン;MRF−38、三菱社製)間の粘着剤組成物に熱を加えて粘着剤を製造した後(比較例の場合、紫外線照射を通して粘着剤を製造する)、製造された粘着剤を恒温恒湿の条件(23℃及び50%RH)で7日間老化させ、約25μm厚さの粘着層を製造した。粘着層が形成された離型フィルムを6cm×6cmの大きさに裁断した後、粘着剤を均一に巻いて粘着剤バー(長さ:約6cm、厚さ:約2mm)を製造した。その後、物性測定器(Stable Micro System Ltd.(英国))で、前記粘着剤バーをゴム製のガスケットで上下のチャック(chuck)にしっかり固着した後、ゲージ長を2cmに調節した。次いで、固着された粘着剤バーに120mm/minの引張速度で力を加えながら、長さ増加による応力を測定し、粘着剤長さが100%増加するときの応力を測定して、粘着剤モジュラス(Young’s modulus)を計算した。
前記測定された結果を下記表2に整理して記載した。
Claims (17)
- アクリル系共重合体、多官能性架橋剤、シラン系カップリング剤、多官能性アクリレート及び熱開始剤を含み、
前記アクリル系共重合体は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体及び架橋性官能基含有単量体を含み、
前記アクリル系共重合体は、前記アクリル系共重合体を形成する単量体の合計100重量部に対して、前記架橋性官能基含有単量体を0.01重量部〜10重量部含み、
前記架橋性官能基含有単量体は、ヒドロキシ基含有単量体であり、
前記多官能性架橋剤が、イソシアネート系化合物であり、
前記熱開始剤は、アシルペルオキシドであり、
硬化状態で相互浸透ネットワーク構造を具現し、
前記硬化状態で粘着剤の形態であり、
前記相互浸透ネットワーク構造は、前記アクリル系共重合体及び前記多官能性架橋剤の反応を通じて形成された架橋構造と前記多官能性アクリレート及び前記熱開始剤の反応を通じて形成された架橋構造を含む、粘着剤組成物。 - 前記アクリル系共重合体は、重量平均分子量が1,000,000以上である請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体は、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、n−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、t−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、sec−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、ペンチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、n−オクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソオクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソノニル(メタ)アクリレート、ラウリル(メタ)アクリレート及びテトラデシル(メタ)アクリレートからなる群から選択された一つ以上である請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体は、アルキレンオキシド基含有単量体を、さらに含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アルキレンオキシド基含有単量体が、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキレンオキシド付加物である請求項4に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体が下記一般式(1)で示される単量体をさらに含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物:
R4はシアノ;アルキルで置換または非置換されたフェニル;アセチルオキシ;またはCOR5を表す(ここで、R5はアルキルまたはアルコキシアルキルで置換または非置換されたアミノまたはグリシジルオキシを表す。)] - 前記多官能性アクリレートは3官能性アクリレート、4官能性アクリレート、5官能性アクリレート及び6官能性アクリレートからなる群から選択された一つ以上である請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記多官能性アクリレートは分子内に環状構造を含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、5重量部〜40重量部の多官能性アクリレートを含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記熱開始剤は10時間半減期温度が40℃〜80℃である請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、0.1重量部〜10重量部の熱開始剤を含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、0.1重量部〜3重量部の前記多官能性架橋剤を含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、0.01重量部〜5重量部の前記シラン系カップリング剤を含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、1重量部〜100重量部の粘着性付与樹脂を、さらに含む請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子;及び
前記偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子の一面または両面に形成され、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着層;を含む粘着偏光板。 - 前記粘着層は下記数式(1)で表示されるゲル含量が80%〜99%である請求項15に記載の粘着偏光板:
