Claims (3)
- 長尺な透明バーで構成され、
前記透明バーの長手方向の一端が、外部の光源からの光が入射される入射面とされ、
前記透明バーの長手方向に直交する横断面の輪郭が、前側の出射面と、この出射面に対向する後側の拡散面と、前記出射面と前記拡散面との間の両側各々で延出される一対の反射面と、で規定され、
前記入射面から入射された光は、前記透明バーの前記反射面及び前記出射面を含む内周面で内部反射を繰り返しながらその内部を長手方向に進み、その間に前記拡散面に到達した光が拡散光となって前記出射面から取り出される導光部材であって、
前記透明バーは、前記出射面と前記拡散面との間の前後寸法が、前記一対の反射面間の幅寸法の二倍以上であり、前記一対の反射面間の幅寸法が、前記拡散面に近づく程小さくなっており、前記一対の反射面の前記拡散面よりも前記出射面に近い側の位置各々に、長手方向に沿って延出するバンプが設けられており、
前記バンプは、前記透明バーの横断面の輪郭において外方に突出する三角形状の突条であり、この突条の三角形の斜辺部分が、前記透明バーの幅方向に対して傾斜した傾斜面となり、前記出射面で反射した光を前記傾斜面で反射させ、前記拡散面へと向かわせることを特徴とする導光部材。 - 前記透明バーの、前記一対の反射面間の幅寸法が、前記拡散面に近づく程小さくなっている部分として、前記拡散面の両端に隣接する前記一対の反射面各々の一部が、前記透明バーの横断面の輪郭において外方へ膨らむように湾曲した肩部となって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の導光部材。
- 前記出射面が、前記透明バーの横断面の輪郭において内方へ凹んだ凹曲面として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の導光部材。
