Description
(実施例1)
アルミナを含む第1支持体にPdを含浸(impregnation)方法で担持させ、第1触媒を製造した。前記第1支持体は、アルミナとLaを含むものを使用し、この時、Laの含有量は、前記第1支持体全体100重量%に対して4重量%の含有量で含むものを使用した。前記Pdの担持量は、前記第1支持体全体100重量%に対して1.5重量%であった。
(実施例2)
前記実施例1で製造された触媒を、1000℃で6時間、水中で熱処理する水熱処理を実施し、これをガス浄化用触媒として使用した。
(参考例1)
アルミナを含む第1支持体にPdを含浸(impregnation)方法で担持させ、第1触媒を製造した。前記第1支持体は、アルミナとLaを含むものを使用し、この時、Laの含有量は、前記第1支持体全体100重量%に対して4重量%の含有量で含むものを使用した。前記Pdの担持量は、前記第1支持体全体100重量%に対して2.35重量%であった。
(参考例2)
前記参考例1で製造された触媒を、1000℃で6時間、水中で熱処理する水熱処理を実施し、これをガス浄化用触媒として使用した。
Claims (7)
- 担体および該担体に形成された触媒層を含み、
前記触媒層は、アルミナを含む第1支持体および該第1支持体に担持されたPdを含む第1触媒と、
セリア−ジルコニアの複合酸化物を含む第2支持体および該第2支持体に担持されたRhを含む第2触媒と、
セリア−ジルコニアの複合酸化物を含む第3支持体および該第3支持体に担持されたPdを含む第3触媒との混合物からなるものであり、
前記触媒層は単一層であり、
前記第1触媒、第2触媒および第3触媒の混合比は、60:20:20重量%〜50:30:20重量%であり、
前記第1支持体はLaをさらに含み、前記Laの含有量は、前記第1支持体全体100重量%に対して0.5重量%〜5重量%であることを特徴とする内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。 - 前記第2支持体または前記第3支持体は、セリアを20重量%〜70重量%含み、ジルコニアを80重量%〜30重量%含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。
- 前記第2支持体または前記第3支持体は、La、Nd、Si、Prまたはこれらの組み合わせから選択される添加剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。
- 前記添加剤の含有量は、前記第2支持体または前記第3支持体全体100重量%に対して1重量%〜20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。
- 前記第1触媒において、Pdの担持量は、前記第1支持体100重量%に対して1重量%〜4重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。
- 前記第2触媒において、Rhの担持量は、前記第2支持体100重量%に対して0.1重量%〜1重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関用ガス浄化触媒。
