Description
よって、従来のハイブリッドパワートレインは、車両の出発時または低速の状況で主にモーターによって車両が駆動されることにより、低速トルク特性に優れるモーターの特性を活用するEVモードを実現し、中速または高速の状況では相対的にトルク特性に優れるエンジンで車両を駆動できるエンジンモードを実現し、高いトルクが要求される運転状況ではエンジンとモーターのトルクを全て使用することが可能なハイブリッドモードを実現することができるようにする。
遊星ギア装置PGは、キャリアCが出力軸OUTに直結し、リングギアRは出力ギア9に直結し、サンギアSは固定可能な状態で出力軸OUTに同心軸をなして設置され、サンギアSの回転を固定することができるようにブレーキBKが備えられる。
クラッチ手段CLは、出力ギア9を出力軸OUTに対して固定させる状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された第1ドッグクラッチCL−D1と、エンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに対して固定させる状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された第2ドッグクラッチCL−D2からなる。
一方、クラッチ手段の第2ドッグクラッチCL−D2は、エンジンからの動力を出力軸OUTへ伝達するために、必須的に、エンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに連結することに使用されるものであって、たとえば、モーターMの動力のみでEV走行中にエンジンEの始動を掛けた後、エンジンの動力を出力軸OUTに印加しようとするときには、後述のジェネレータGとエンジンを制御して出力軸OUTと出力側被動ギアとの間の相対速度を最小化した後、第2ドッグクラッチCL−D2を結合してエンジンの動力を出力軸OUTへ印加できるようにする。
この場合には、前述したようにエンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに連結するとき、第2ドッグクラッチCL−D2の場合に比べて相対的にエンジン側被動ギア3と出力軸OUT間の速度差がさらに大きい状況においても、エンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに連結する動作が可能である。
本発明の実施例において、入力軸INはエンジンに直結した構造であって、エンジン始動の際には、クラッチ手段CLがエンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTと分離し、解除している状態を形成する。
前述したようにジェネレータGから発生した電気はバッテリーに蓄積され、バッテリーの電気はモーターMへ供給きるように構成されている。
図2および図3に本発明のエンジンモードを示す。図2のエンジンモード1速は、クラッチ手段CLによってエンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに連結し、ブレーキBKを解除して実現する。
図3のエンジンモード2速は、エンジンモード1速状態でブレーキBKを締結することにより出力軸OUTの回転力が遊星ギア装置PGで増速され、出力ギア9を駆動することで実現される。この際、出力ギア9は出力軸OUTより速く回転する。これはワンウェイクラッチ25によって許容される。
図4および図5はEVモードを示すものである。図4のEVモード1速は、モーターを駆動して発生した動力がモーター側駆動ギア5とモーター側被動ギア7を介して出力軸OUTへ提供され、出力軸OUTの動力はワンウェイクラッチ25を介して出力ギア9へ出力される。
図6および図7はハイブリッドモードの一つである並列モード示すものである。図6は並列モード1速を示しているが、エンジンEとモーターMが全て駆動されることにより、これらからの動力が出力軸OUTで合わせられ、この動力はワンウェイクラッチ25を介して出力ギア9へ出力される。
この際、クラッチ手段CLは、エンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTに連結させている状態である。
図7は並列モード2速状態を示すものであって、図6の状態でブレーキBKを締結することにより、出力軸OUTで合わせられたエンジンとモーターからの動力がキャリアCとリングギアRを経て増速され、出力ギア9へ出力される状態である。
この際、クラッチ手段CLは、エンジン側被動ギア3を出力軸OUTから解除してエンジンの動力が出力軸OUTへ伝達されないようにする。
図9はシリーズモード2速状態を示すものであって、図8の状態でブレーキBKを作動させた状態として、モーターから出力軸OUTへ提供された動力は遊星ギア装置PGで増速されて出力ギア9へ出力され、2速の出力状態を実現している。
参考として、図2〜図9で相対的に太く表示された線は動力の主要な流れを表示している。

Claims (7)
- エンジンの動力供給を受けられるように設置された入力軸と、
前記入力軸に備えられたエンジン側駆動ギアと、
前記入力軸に対して平行に配置された出力軸と、
前記エンジン側駆動ギアと噛み合うように前記出力軸に回転可能に備えられたエンジン側被動ギアと、
前記入力軸と同心軸をなしてモーターによって回転するように設置されたモーター側駆動ギアと、
前記モーター側駆動ギアと噛み合うように前記出力軸に固定的に備えられたモーター側被動ギアと、
前記出力軸に回転可能に設置された出力ギアと、
車両の前進駆動の際に、前記出力軸から前記出力ギアへのみ動力が伝達されるように前記出力ギアと出力軸との間に設置されたワンウェイクラッチと、
前記出力ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定または解除する状態と、前記エンジン側被動ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定または解除する状態を切り換えることができるように備えられたクラッチ手段と、
前記出力軸と前記出力ギアとの間を連結するように設置された遊星ギア装置とを含んでなることを特徴とする、車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。 - 前記遊星ギア装置は、キャリアが前記出力軸に直結し、リングギアは前記出力ギアに直結し、サンギアは固定可能な状態で前記出力軸に同心軸をなして設置され、
前記サンギアの回転を固定することができるようにブレーキが備えられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。 - 前記クラッチ手段は、前記出力ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定させる状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された第1ドッグクラッチと、前記エンジン側被動ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定される状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された第2ドッグクラッチからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。
- 前記クラッチ手段は、前記出力ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定させる状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された第1ドッグクラッチと、前記エンジン側被動ギアを前記出力軸に対して固定させる状態と解除させる状態を切り換えることができるように構成された同期噛み合い式シンクロ機構からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。
- 前記エンジン側駆動ギアは前記エンジン側被動ギアより直径が大きく形成され、
前記モーター側駆動ギアは前記モーター側被動ギアより直径が小さく形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。 - 前記入力軸がエンジンに直結することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。
- 前記入力軸に備えられた発電用駆動ギアと、
前記入力軸に同心軸をなして回転可能に設置され、ジェネレータを回転させるように連結された発電用被動ギアと、
前記入力軸に対して平行に配置され、前記発電用駆動ギアに噛み合う第1媒介ギアおよび前記発電用被動ギアに噛み合う第2媒介ギアを備えたアイドラー軸とをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の車両のハイブリッドパワートレイン。
