Description

Claims (15)
- 出力スピンドルに回転運動を与えるために該出力スピンドルに駆動可能に結合された電動モータを有する動力工具の動作を制御する方法であって、
前記動力工具内に位置するコントローラによって、電子クラッチのためのクラッチ設定を示す入力を受信するステップであって、前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードとドライブ・モードとから選択可能である、ステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドライブ・モードにあるとき、
前記電動モータに供給される電流を周期的にサンプリングすることと、
直近にサンプリングされた一連の電流測定値を前記動力工具のメモリ内に記憶することと、
前記一連の電流測定値の勾配を線形回帰によって割り出すことと
によって、前記出力スピンドルに加えられるトルクを前記コントローラによって監視するステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドライブ・モードにあるとき、前記一連の電流測定値の勾配に部分的に基づいて前記出力スピンドルへのトルクの伝達を前記コントローラによって遮断するステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードにあるとき、前記出力スピンドルに加えられるトルクを前記コントローラによって無視するステップと、
工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧されるトリガ・スイッチの出現を前記コントローラによって検出するステップであって、前記トリガ・スイッチは前記電動モータに供給される電力量を制御し、前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現は、トルクの伝達を遮断するタイムリミット以内に出現する、ステップと、
前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現を検出したことに応答して、前記電動モータを所定の時間前記コントローラによって通電するステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配を最小勾配閾値と比較するステップと、
前記勾配が前記最小勾配閾値を超えると、前記コントローラによって勾配カウンタを1だけインクリメントするステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配カウンタを設定基準との関連で評価するステップであって、該設定基準は、前記動力工具によって駆動されるファスナの所望の停止位置を示す、ステップと、
前記勾配カウンタが前記設定基準を満たすと、前記コントローラによって前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断するステップと、
前記勾配カウンタの一連の値を前記コントローラによって記憶するステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配カウンタの一連の値を前記設定基準との関連で評価するステップと、
前記勾配カウンタの一連の値の中の値が最古値から直近値へ向かって増加しているとき、トルク伝達を遮断するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 出力スピンドルに回転運動を与えるために該出力スピンドルに駆動可能に結合された電動モータを有する動力工具の動作を制御する方法であって、
前記動力工具内に位置するコントローラによって、電子クラッチのためのクラッチ設定を示す入力を受信するステップであって、前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードとドライブ・モードとから選択可能である、ステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドライブ・モードにあるとき、
前記電動モータに供給される電流を周期的にサンプリングすることと、
直近にサンプリングされた一連の電流測定値を前記動力工具のメモリ内に記憶することと、
前記一連の電流測定値の勾配を線形回帰によって割り出すことと
によって、前記出力スピンドルに加えられるトルクを前記コントローラによって監視するステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドライブ・モードにあるとき、前記一連の電流測定値の勾配に部分的に基づいて前記出力スピンドルへのトルクの伝達を前記コントローラによって遮断するステップと、
前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードにあるとき、前記出力スピンドルに加えられるトルクを前記コントローラによって無視するステップと、
工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧されるトリガ・スイッチの出現を前記コントローラによって検出するステップであって、前記トリガ・スイッチは前記電動モータに供給される電力量を制御し、前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現は、トルクの伝達を遮断するタイムリミット以内に出現する、ステップと、
前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現を検出したことに応答して、前記電動モータを所定の時間前記コントローラによって通電するステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配を最小勾配閾値と比較するステップと、
前記勾配が前記最小勾配閾値を超えると、前記コントローラによって勾配カウンタを1だけインクリメントするステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配カウンタを設定基準との関連で評価するステップであって、該設定基準は、前記動力工具によって駆動されるファスナの所望の停止位置を示す、ステップと、
前記勾配カウンタが前記設定基準を満たすと、前記コントローラによって前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断するステップと、
前記勾配カウンタの一連の値を前記コントローラによって記憶するステップと、
前記コントローラによって前記勾配カウンタの一連の値を前記設定基準との関連で評価するステップと、
前記勾配カウンタの一連の値の中の値が最古値から中間値へ向かって増加し且つ該中間値から直近値へ向かって減少するとき、トルク伝達を遮断するステップと
を含む、方法。 - さらに、前記工具の動作中に前記クラッチ設定の視覚的インジケータを提供するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 入力を受信するステップは、さらに、前記動力工具のハウジングに設けられた1つ又は2つのボタンからの信号を受信することを含み、前記2つのボタンのうちの一方は前記ドリル・モードに関連付けられ、前記2つのボタンのうちの他方は前記ドライブ・モードに関連付けられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記工具操作者によって作動させられた前記2つのボタンのうちの一方に組み込まれたアイコンを照明するステップであって、該アイコンは前記作動させられたボタンに関連付けられた動作モードを示す、ステップを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- さらに、
トルク伝達の遮断直前に前記電動モータに供給された電流の大きさを前記コントローラによって割り出すステップと、
前記工具操作者からの入力に応答して前記電流の大きさを前記コントローラによって記憶装置内に記憶するステップと、
前記工具の後続の動作の間、前記電動モータに供給される電流量が、前記記憶された電流の大きさに等しく又はこれを超えると、前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断する
ステップと
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - ポータブル型手持ち式動力工具であって、
ハウジングと、
出力スピンドルに回転運動を与えるために該出力スピンドルに駆動可能に結合された電動モータと、
前記電動モータに供給される電流をサンプリングするように構成された電流センサと、
工具のクラッチ設定を設定するために工具操作者によって操作可能な入力構成部分であって、前記クラッチ設定は、ドリル・モードと、自動ドライブ・モードと、1つ以上の使用者定義型ドライブ・モードとから選択可能であり、前記使用者定義型ドライブ・モードのそれぞれは、前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断する際の異なるトルク値を特定する、入力構成部分と、
前記入力構成部分からの前記クラッチ設定及び前記電流センサからの電流測定値を受信するように構成されたコントローラであって、前記クラッチ設定が自動ドライブ・モードにあるときには、前記出力スピンドルへのトルクを遮断し、電流測定値の変化率を監視し、且つ、変化率閾値を超える電流測定値の変化率に応答して、前記出力スピンドルへのトルクを遮断するように動作し、さらに、前記クラッチ設定が前記使用者定義型ドライブ・モードのうちの選択された1モードにあるときには、該使用者定義型ドライブ・モードのうちの選択された1モードに従って最大電流閾値を設定し、且つ、該最大電流閾値を超える電流測定値に応答して前記出力スピンドルへのトルクを遮断するように動作するコントローラと
を備え、
前記コントローラは、前記クラッチ設定が自動ドライブ・モード又は前記使用者定義型ドライブ・モードのうちの選択された1モードにあるときには、工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧されるトリガ・スイッチの出現を検出し、前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現を検出したことに応答して、前記電動モータを所定の時間通電するように動作し、前記トリガ・スイッチは前記電動モータに供給される電力量を制御し、前記工具操作者によって解放され、続いて押圧される前記トリガ・スイッチの出現は、トルクの伝達を遮断するタイムリミット以内に出現し、
前記入力構成部分はさらに回転ポテンショメータ・スイッチ組立体として定義されており、該回転ポテンショメータ・スイッチ組立体は、
本体に回転可能に取り付けられた組立体プラットフォームと、
回転装置であって、該回転装置の手動の軸回転がクラッチ設定を生成すべく作用するように、前記組立体プラットフォームに回転可能に取り付けられた回転装置と、
前記組立体プラットフォームに取り付けられた、対向する第1及び第2の方向スイッチであって、該第1及び第2の方向スイッチのうちの一方が前記組立体プラットフォームの手動回転中に前記本体に接触すると、前記出力スピンドルに対する正回転動作方向指令又は逆回転動作方向指令が生成される、対向する第1及び第2の方向スイッチと
を含む、ポータブル型手持ち式動力工具。 - 前記コントローラは、前記クラッチ設定が自動ドライブ・モードにあるときには、前記電流センサから電流測定値を受信し、直近にサンプリングされた一連の電流測定値を前記動力工具のメモリ内に記憶し、且つ前記一連の電流測定値の勾配を線形回帰によって割り出すように動作して、前記一連の電流測定値の勾配に部分的に基づいてトルク伝達を遮断するように動作する、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
- 前記コントローラは、さらに、前記勾配を最小勾配閾値と比較し、該勾配と該最小勾配閾値との比較に従って勾配カウンタを調節し、該勾配カウンタを設定基準との関連で評価し、且つ、該勾配カウンタが該設定基準を満たすと、前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断するように動作し、前記設定基準は、前記動力工具によって駆動されるファスナの所望の停止位置を示す、請求項8に記載の動力工具。
- 前記コントローラは、前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードにあるとき、前記出力スピンドルに加えられるトルクを無視する、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
- 前記コントローラは、前記出力スピンドルへのトルク伝達を遮断すると同時に、前記工具操作者への触覚的フィードバックを提供する、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
- 前記入力構成部分は、さらに、一方の押しボタンが作動されると前記クラッチ設定がドリル・モードに設定され、他方の押しボタンを作動されると前記クラッチ設定がドライブ・モードに設定されるように、前記ハウジング内に組み込まれた2つの押しボタンとして定義されている、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
- 前記工具操作者によって作動された前記2つの押しボタンのうちの一方が前記工具の動作中に照明される、請求項12に記載の動力工具。
- さらに、前記ハウジングに配置され且つ複数の二色発光ダイオード(LED)を含む表示ポートを具備し、それぞれのLEDは、2つの原色と、該2つの原色の混合色である第3の色とを含む3つの色を表示するように動作し、それぞれのLED色は、前記動力工具の複数の異なる動作モードの視覚的指示を提供する、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
- さらに、前記ハウジングに配置された表示ポートを備え、前記使用者定義型ドライブ・モードのうちの選択された1モードについての数値が前記表示ポートに提示される、請求項7に記載の動力工具。
