図1において、本実施形態に係るタイヤ10は、タイヤ骨格部材12と、補強層14とを備えている。
本実施形態は、上記のように構成されており、以下その作用について説明する。図1において、本実施形態に係るタイヤ10では、タイヤ骨格部材12の少なくともサイド部18に補強層14が存在することで、タイヤ骨格部材12における傷の伝播速度を遅くすることができる。また、補強層14がタイヤ周方向に並べられており、タイヤ周方向に一体的に連続した形態となっていないことから、タイヤ周方向の剛性が高くなり過ぎず、タイヤ半径方向の剛性とのバランスがよい。
図3,図4において、本実施形態に係るタイヤ20では、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う補強層14が互いに当接している。この補強層14は、少なくともタイヤ最大幅位置を含む部分で当接している。当接には、補強層14の端面同士がタイヤ周方向に突き当たっている場合と、タイヤ半径方向に重なっている場合を含む。
第1実施形態において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う補強層14の間に、他の補強層(図示せず)を配置してもよい。この場合、他の補強層と補強層14とを部分的に重ねてもよい。また、他の補強層のタイヤ周方向一方側を隣接する補強層14と部分的に重ね、タイヤ周方向他方側を隣接する補強層14と重ねず、例えば0.1mm以上の隙間を設けるようにしてもよい。また、第2実施形態において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う補強層14を互いに部分的に重ねてもよい。
Claims (6)
- ビード部と、該ビード部のタイヤ半径方向外側に連なるサイド部と、該サイド部のタイヤ幅方向内側に連なり、トレッドが配置されるクラウン部とを有し、JIS K7113に規定される引張降伏強さが10MPa以上、同じくJIS K7113に規定される引張破壊伸びが50%以上である樹脂材料製のタイヤ骨格部材と、
補強材が樹脂材料により被覆され、前記ビード部から前記サイド部に延びると共にタイヤ周方向に並べて配置された補強層と、を備え、
前記補強層のタイヤ半径方向外側端の位置は、前記クラウン部の外周に設けられたベルト層に重なって終端しているタイヤ。 - 前記補強層の外面は、前記タイヤ骨格部材の厚みの半分よりタイヤ外側に位置している請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- タイヤ周方向に隣り合う前記補強層が互いに当接している請求項1又は請求項2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記補強層は、前記ビード部に埋設されたビードコアに留められている請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記補強層のタイヤ半径方向内側端は、前記ビードコアに巻き付けられている請求項4に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記補強層のタイヤ半径方向内側端は、前記ビード部のリム離反点よりもタイヤ半径方向内側に位置する請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
