図を参照しながら、本発明の第1実施形態に係るタイヤ10について説明する。なお、図中矢印TWはタイヤ10の回転軸と平行な方向(以下、適宜「タイヤ軸方向」と記載する。)を示し、矢印TRはタイヤ幅方向と直交してタイヤ10の回転軸を通る径方向(以下、適宜「タイヤ径方向」と記載する。)を示す。また、矢印TCはタイヤ10の回転軸を中心とする円の円周方向(以下、適宜「タイヤ周方向」と記載する。)を示す。
次に、本実施形態に係るタイヤ10の作用及び効果について説明する。本実施形態に係るタイヤ10は、樹脂材料で形成されたタイヤ骨格部材12のサイド部24にサイド補強部材を埋設しているので、サイド部24の剛性を高めることができる。これにより、サイド部24が変形して路面200上の突起とリムとの間にサイド部24が挟み込まれる、いわゆるピンチカットを抑制できる。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態に係るタイヤ50について説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同様の構成については、同じ符号を付し、説明を省略する。図4に示すように、本実施形態のタイヤ50は、第1実施形態と同様のビード部20、サイド部24、及びクラウン部26を含んで構成されたタイヤ骨格部材12を備えている。
次に、本発明の第3実施形態に係るタイヤ60について説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同様の構成については、同じ符号を付し、説明を省略する。図5に示すように、本実施形態のタイヤ骨格部材12に埋設されたサイド補強部材62は、第1実施形態のサイド補強部材32に対して、長さが短く形成されている。すなわち、本実施形態のサイド補強部材62は、ビード部20からショルダー部の近傍まで延びており、クラウン部26には形成されていない。
Claims (4)
- 複数のタイヤ片をタイヤ軸方向に接合した樹脂製で環状のタイヤ骨格部材と、
前記タイヤ骨格部材に接着されると共に、タイヤ周方向に延びて前記タイヤ片の接合部を覆う接合部補強ベルトと、
前記タイヤ骨格部材及び前記接合部補強ベルトのタイヤ径方向外側に設けられたトレッド層と、
を有し、
前記タイヤ骨格部材は、一対のビード部と、前記一対のビード部からタイヤ径方向外側へ延出し、タイヤ周方向に配設された一対のサイド部と、前記一対のサイド部を連結するクラウン部とを備え、前記サイド部には、前記ビード部から前記クラウン部へ向かってタイヤ周方向と交差するサイド補強部材がタイヤ周方向に間隔を開けて埋設されているタイヤ。 - 前記接合部補強ベルトは、前記タイヤ骨格部材のタイヤ径方向内側に設けられている請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記複数のタイヤ片は、対向する端面同士が樹脂製の接合部材で接合されており、
前記接合部補強ベルトは、前記接合部材をタイヤ径方向外側から覆っている請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記サイド補強部材は、タイヤ軸方向の中央部まで延びており、
前記接合部補強ベルトをタイヤ径方向に投影したとき、前記接合部補強ベルトの幅方向両端部が前記サイド補強部材と重なっている請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
