Description
市販の化粧シートのDI−NOC FW334(3M(Saint Paul,MN,USA))の総燃焼熱を測定した。DI−NOC FW334は、典型的な化粧シートで、厚さ80マイクロメートルのポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)透明フィルム、厚さ80マイクロメートルの化粧基層PVCフィルム、及び厚さ40マイクロメートルのアクリル接着剤の3つの層を有する。
上記の実施例1に記述した結果に基づいて、約4MJ/m2以下を目標として、約40%の総燃焼熱の低減を求めた。それぞれの層の最初の目標は、透明層1.0MJ/m2未満、化粧基層2.0MJ/m2未満、及び接着層1.0MJ/m2未満であった。更に、同様のフィルム特性、例えば、接着、耐久性、伸び、ハンドリング、印刷適性を維持することが望まれた。
7つの接着層の試料を以下のように調製した。
試料1:アクリル接着剤(ACRYSET AST−8167E、NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO.,LTD.から入手可能、38%の固形分)を100質量部と、架橋剤(COLONATE L−55E、NIPPON POLYURETHANE INDUSTRY CO.,LTD.から入手可能、55%の固形分)を2質量部とを、Tokushu Kika Kogyo Co.,Ltd.から入手可能なT.K.Auto Homo Mixerを使用して500rpmで5分間混合させた。得られる溶液をナイフコーティングでシリコーンライナーにコーティングした。65℃で5分間、及び95℃で5分間乾燥させた後、40マイクロメートルの厚さの接着層を形成した。これは、上述の実施例1のDI−NOC FW334の接着層に相当する。
9つの透明層(試料8〜16)を以下のように入手又は作製した。
試料8:PVCを、厚さ82マイクロメートルのフィルムとして、Tatsuta Chemical Co.,Ltd.から入手した。
5つの化粧基層、試料17〜21を以下で説明するように入手又は作製した。
試料17:PVCを、厚さ80マイクロメートルのフィルムとして、Dai Nippon Printing Co.,Ltd.から入手した。これは、上述の実施例1のDI−NOC FW334の化粧基層に相当する。
実施例2で示された結果に基づいて、望ましい特性を有することが予想された化粧シートを調製した。3つのシートを以下のように調製した。
実施例3で説明するように調製したシート1について、ASTM E84(建築資材の表面燃焼特性の標準試験法)に基づいて燃焼性の試験を行った。ASTM E84試験は、NFPA 255号及びUL 723号と技術的に同等である。この試験方法は、公称長さ24フィート(7.32メートル)幅20インチ(508ミリメートル)の試験片を制御された空気流、及び5.5分で試験片の全長に沿って火炎が広がるように調節された燃え上がる火に曝す。火炎伝播指数は、定義された試験条件の下で、火炎区域の境界が進行する間観察から誘導された比較測度を示す数又は分類である。煙拡散指数は、表面燃焼特性試験中に収集された煙による視界低下データから誘導された比較測度を示す数又は分類である。低減したPCSを有する化粧シートが低減した燃焼性も有するかどうかは未知であるので、試験の結果を予測することはできなかった。有機難燃剤がPCSを低減させることに対して効果がほとんど、又はまったくなかった実施例2で示された結果を考慮すれば明確であるが、燃焼性を低減させることが期待されていた。
1. 化粧シートであって、化粧基層と、前記化粧基層の表面に配置された接着層と、前記基層の前記接着層と反対側の表面に配置された透明層と、を含み、前記化粧シートが、85マイクロメートル〜250マイクロメートルの厚みを有し、規格GB/T 14402−2007を用いて酸素ボンベ熱量測定によって測定したとき、1平方メートル当たり4.0メガジュール以下の総燃焼熱を有する、化粧シート。
2. 化粧シートであって、化粧基層と、前記化粧基層の表面に配置された接着層と、前記基層の前記接着層と反対側の表面に配置された透明層と、を含み、前記化粧シートが、90マイクロメートル〜250マイクロメートルの厚みを有し、ASTM E84に基づいて試験したとき、15以下の火炎伝播指数、又は50以下の煙拡散指数を有する、化粧シート。
3. 前記化粧基層が、重量百分率で10重量%〜50重量%の1つ又は複数の無機質不燃性の充填剤を含む、態様1又は2に記載の化粧シート。
4. 前記化粧基層が、重量百分率で10重量%〜30重量%の1つ又は複数の無機質不燃性の充填剤を含む、態様1又は2に記載の化粧シート。
5. 前記1つ又は複数の無機質不燃性の充填剤が、CaCO 3 、Mg(OH) 2 、Al(OH) 3 、SiO 2 、モンモリロナイト、及びカオリンのうちの1つ又は複数を含む、態様3又は4に記載の化粧シート。
6. 前記化粧基層が、ポリ塩化ビニルを含む、態様1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
7. 前記化粧基層が、60マイクロメートル〜120マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、態様1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
8. 前記接着層が、10マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、態様1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
9. 前記接着層が、20マイクロメートル〜30マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、態様1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
10. 前記接着層が、感圧性接着剤を含む、態様1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
11. 前記感圧性接着剤が、アクリル系感圧性接着剤である、態様10に記載の化粧シート。
12. 前記感圧性接着剤が、シリコーン感圧性接着剤である、態様10に記載の化粧シート。
13. 前記透明層が、15マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、態様1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
14. 前記透明層が、20マイクロメートル〜40マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、態様1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
15. 前記透明層が、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、及びポリフッ化ビニルからなる群から選択される材料から形成される、態様1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
16. 前記透明層が、ポリフッ化ビニリデンから形成される、態様1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シート。
17. 化粧シートであって、ポリ塩化ビニル、及び1つ又は複数の無機質不燃性の充填剤を含む化粧基層であって、前記無機質不燃性の充填剤が、前記化粧基層の重量で10重量%〜50重量%であり、前記化粧基層が、60マイクロメートル〜150マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、化粧基層と、前記化粧基層の表面に配置された接着層であって、前記接着層が、10マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、接着層と、前記基層の前記接着層と反対側の表面に配置された透明層であって、前記透明層が、ポリフッ化ビニリデンを含み、15マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、透明層と、を含み、前記化粧シートが、85マイクロメートル〜250マイクロメートルの厚みを有し、酸素ボンベ熱量測定によって測定したとき1平方メートル当たり4.0メガジュール以下の総燃焼熱を有する、化粧シート。
18. 前記化粧シートが、ASTM E84に基づいて試験したとき、15以下の火炎伝播指数及び50以下の煙拡散指数を有する、態様17に記載の化粧シート。
19. 化粧シートであって、ポリ塩化ビニル、及び1つ又は複数の無機質不燃性の充填剤を含む化粧基層であって、前記無機質不燃性の充填剤が、前記化粧基層の重量で10重量%〜50重量%であり、前記化粧基層が60マイクロメートル〜150マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、化粧基層と、前記化粧基層の表面に配置された接着層であって、前記接着層が、15マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、接着層と、前記基層の前記接着層と反対側の表面に配置された透明層であって、前記透明層が、ポリフッ化ビニリデンを含み、15マイクロメートル〜50マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、透明層と、から本質的になる、化粧シート。
20. 態様1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の化粧シートと、前記基層と反対側の前記接着層の表面に配置された剥離ライナーと、を含むシステム。
したがって、低い総燃焼熱を有する化粧フィルムの実施形態が開示される。本明細書で説明するフィルム、システム、化粧シート、組成物、及び方法は、開示されたもの以外の実施形態で実施され得ることが当業者に理解されるであろう。開示された実施形態は、例証するために提示されるもので、制限するためのものではない。
Claims (1)
- 化粧シートであって、
化粧基層と、
前記化粧基層の表面に配置された接着層と、
前記基層の前記接着層と反対側の表面に配置された透明層と、を含み、
前記化粧シートが、85マイクロメートル〜250マイクロメートルの厚みを有し、規格GB/T 14402−2007を用いて酸素ボンベ熱量測定によって測定したとき、1平方メートル当たり4.0メガジュール以下の総燃焼熱を有し、
前記化粧基層が、重量百分率で10%〜30%の1種又は複数種の無機質不燃性の充填剤を含む、化粧シート。
