Claims (7)
- ピストンリングの合い口(4)の領域が設けられた少なくとも1部品のバネ支持材(2)と、
前記バネ支持材(2)の内周面の領域内に設けた円周溝(9)内に配置された少なくとも1部品のバネ要素(3)と、を含む、複合ピストンリング(1)であって、
前記バネ支持材(2)の肉厚は、前記合い口(4)に対面する前記バネ支持材(2)の端部(5,6)の領域内と、前記バネ支持材の背後領域(7)内と、で基本的に等しく、
前記背後領域(7)と前記ピストンリングの合い口端部(5,6)との間の各々に、少なくとも1つのポケット(2’ ,2” )を設け、このポケットは、少なくとも60°の円周範囲にわたって延在し、前記バネ支持材(2)の全体的な肉厚の局所的な低減(a-b)によって作製されており、
不均一な半径方向圧力の分布を生成するために、前記ピストンリングの合い口(4)を始点に、前記ピストンリングの合い口端部(5,6)から測った角度α>20°から最大角度α’=120°までの円周範囲(β)内で、前記バネ支持材(2)の肉厚が、局所的な低減(a-b)をしていき、これにより、半径方向圧力の分布は、ピストンリングの合い口端部(5,6)の領域内で最小値となり、前記円周範囲β内で最大値となることを特徴とする複合ピストンリング。 - 前記バネ支持材(2)は、前記ピストンリングの合い口(4)を始点に、4つの四分円(I〜IV)に分割され、2つの前記ポケット(2’ ,2” )は、1つのポケット(2’)が、前記四分円の1番目(I)及び2番目(II)を跨ぐ前記バネ支持材(2)の円周範囲に位置し、1つのポケット(2”)が、前記四分円の3番目(III)及び4番目(IV)を跨ぐ前記バネ支持材の円周範囲内に位置するように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の複合ピストンリング。
- 前記ポケット(2’ ,2” )は、軸方向に推移して前記リングの中心を構成すると共に、前記バネ支持材(2)の前記端部(5,6)の間を推移する平面に対して対称に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の複合ピストンリング。
- 前記バネ支持材(2)の円周方向でみたときの、前記バネ支持材(2)の前記円周溝(9)の溝底と滑り面(10,11)との間の肉厚(c ,c’)を変化させることによって、前記円周溝(9)の溝底と前記バネ支持材(2)の滑り面(10, 11)との間の肉厚(c ,c’)を、前記バネ支持材(2)の円周方向に変化させ、これにより、環状の前記バネ要素(3)を、前記円周溝(9)内に所定の楕円率で配置することができることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の複合ピストンリング。
- 前記円周溝(9)の溝底と滑り面(10,11)との間の肉厚(c ,c’)の変化は、前記バネ支持材(2)の前記ポケット(2’ ,2” )のそれぞれの領域内で与えられることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の複合ピストンリング。
- 少なくとも、前記1部品のバネ支持材(2)と、前記1部品のバネ要素(3)とを備える、少なくとも2部品の油かきリング(1)によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の複合ピストンリング。
- 前記バネ支持材(2)が、少なくとも2つの滑り面ウェブ(10, 11)を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の複合ピストンリング。
