Claims (16)
- 水流からイオン除去するための脱塩システム(10)であって、当該脱塩システムが、第1の供給流(13)を受け取って、第1の供給流(13)よりも荷電種濃度の低下した流出流(14)を生成するように構成された1以上の脱塩セル(11)を備えており、各脱塩セル(11)が、
第1及び第2の電極(22,23)と、
第1及び第2の電極(22,23)上にそれぞれ配設された陰イオン交換層(24)及び陽イオン交換層(25)と、
第1の電極(22)と第2の電極(23)の間に配設されたスペーサ(26)と、
第1の電極(22)と第2の電極(23)の間に配設されたイオン交換樹脂(27)であって、イオン交換樹脂(27)が陰イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(28)と陽イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(29)の混合物を含んでいて、陰イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(28)と陽イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(29)との体積比が1:1であるイオン交換樹脂(27)と
を備えており、当該脱塩システムが、1以上の脱塩セル(11)からの流出流(14)をさらに処理するための、1以上の脱塩セル(11)と流体連通した電気式脱イオン(EDI)装置(12)をさらに備えている、脱塩システム(10)。 - イオン交換樹脂(27)が、それを通して第1の供給流(13)が流れる流路を画成する、請求項1記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 第1及び第2の電極(22,23)が同心円状に配置され、それらの間にらせん状の連続空間が形成される、請求項1又は請求項2記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 第1の電極(22)と第2の電極(23)の間の距離が2mm〜20mmである、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 第1の電極(22)と第2の電極(23)の間の距離が8mmである、請求項4記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 脱塩システム(10)が、複数の脱塩セル(11)を、隣接する脱塩セル対の間に配設された1以上の絶縁性セパレータ(31)と共に積層したものを含む、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 1以上の脱塩セル(11)が、さらに、脱塩セル(11)の放電状態において、第2の供給流(15)を受け取って濃縮流(16)を生成するように構成されている、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 1以上の脱塩セル(11)が硬度イオンを第1の供給流(13)から除去するように構成されている、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 水流からイオン除去するための脱塩システム(10)であって、当該脱塩システムが、第1の供給流(13)を受け取って、第1の供給流(13)よりも荷電種濃度の低下した流出流(14)を生成するように構成された脱塩装置(32)を備えており、脱塩装置(32)が、
第1及び第2の電極(22,23)と、
第1の電極(22)と第2の電極(23)の間に配設された1以上のバイポーラ電極(33)と、
各隣接する電極対(22,33;33,23)の間に配設された複数のスペーサ(26)と、
各隣接する電極対(22,33;33,23)のそれぞれの電極上に配設された陰イオン交換層(24)及び陽イオン交換層(25)と、
各隣接する電極対(22,33;33,23)の間に配設されたイオン交換樹脂(27)であって、イオン交換樹脂(27)が陰イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(28)と陽イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(29)の混合物を含んでいて、陰イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(28)と陽イオン交換樹脂ビーズ(29)との体積比が1:1であるイオン交換樹脂(27)と
を備えており、当該脱塩システムが、脱塩装置(32)からの流出流(14)をさらに処理するための、脱塩装置(32)と流体連通したEDI装置(12)をさらに備えている、脱塩システム(10)。 - 各隣接する電極対(22,33;33,23)の間の距離が2mm〜20mmである、請求項9記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 各隣接する電極対(22,33;33,23)の間の距離が8mmである、請求項10記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- イオン交換樹脂(27)が、それを通して第1の供給流(13)が流れる流路を画成する、請求項9乃至請求項11のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 脱塩装置(32)が、さらに、脱塩装置(32)の放電状態において、第2の供給流(15)を受け取って濃縮流(16)を生成するように構成されている、請求項9乃至請求項12のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)。
- 請求項1乃至請求項13のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システム(10)を用いて水流からイオンを除去する方法であって、
脱塩セル(11)又は脱塩装置(32)の充電状態において、第1の供給流(13)を、脱塩セル(11)又は脱塩装置(32)のイオン交換樹脂(27)を通して流して、流出流(14)を生成することと、
流出流(14)を、さらに処理するためにEDI装置(12)に導入することと、
脱塩セル(11)又は脱塩装置(32)の放電状態において、第2の供給流(15)をイオン交換樹脂を通して流して、第1の供給流(13)から除去されたイオンを脱塩セル(11)又は脱塩装置(32)の外へ運んで濃縮流(16)を生成することと
を含む方法。 - 濃縮流(16)を第2の供給流(15)に再循環することをさらに含む、請求項14記載の方法。
- 脱塩セル(11)又は脱塩装置(32)の放電状態において、第1の供給流(14)が第2の供給流(15)として働く、請求項14記載の方法。
