Claims (10)
- 脱塩装置を備える脱塩システムであって、脱塩装置が、
第1及び第2の電極と、
第1の電極と第2の電極の間に配設されて、第1の群の第1のチャネルと第2のチャネルを交互に形成する第1の群のイオン交換膜の対であって、第1のチャネルが脱塩のため第1の供給流を受け取るように構成され、第2のチャネルが第2の供給流を受け取って第1の供給流から除去されたイオンを運び去るように構成されている第1の群のイオン交換膜の対と、
隣接するイオン交換膜の各対の間並びに第1及び第2の電極と個々のイオン交換膜との間に配設された複数のスペーサと
を備えており、第1の群のイオン交換膜の各々がカチオン交換膜であって、第1の群のイオン交換膜の対のカチオン交換膜が、非選択性カチオン交換膜と一価カチオン交換膜を交互に含んでおり、
前記脱塩装置が、第1の群のイオン交換膜と第1及び第2の電極の少なくとも一方との間に配設されて、第2の群の第1のチャネルと第2のチャネルを交互に形成する第2の群のイオン交換膜の対をさらに備えていて、第2の群のイオン交換膜が複数のカチオン交換膜及びアニオン交換膜を交互に含んでおり、
第2の群の交互に並んだ第1及び第2のチャネルの第1のチャネルが、第1の群の交互に並んだ第1及び第2のチャネルの第1のチャネルから液体を受け取るように構成される、脱塩システム。 - 脱塩装置と流体連通したイオン調整ユニットであって、第2の供給流中の一価イオンの量を増加させるように構成されたイオン調整ユニットをさらに備える、請求項1記載の脱塩システム。

隣接するイオン交換膜の各対の間並びに第1及び第2の電極と個々のイオン交換膜との間に配設された複数のスペーサと
を備えており、第1の群のイオン交換膜の対のイオン交換膜がそれぞれカチオン交換膜であって、第1の群のイオン交換膜の対のカチオン交換膜が、非選択性カチオン交換膜と一価カチオン交換膜を交互に含んでおり、第2の群のイオン交換膜の対が複数のカチオン交換膜及びアニオン交換膜を交互に含んでいて、第2の群の交互に並んだ第1及び第2のチャネルの第1のチャネルが、第1の群の交互に並んだ第1及び第2のチャネルの第1のチャネルから液体を受け取るように構成される、脱塩システム。 - 脱塩装置と流体連通したイオン調整ユニットであって、第2の供給流中の一価イオンの量を増加させるように構成されたイオン調整ユニットをさらに備えており、イオン調整ユニットが、一価イオンの量を増加させるため塩化ナトリウム溶液を第2の供給流に導入するように構成されている、請求項6記載の脱塩システム。
- 第1の群のイオン交換膜に隣接した、第2の群のイオン交換膜の対のイオン交換膜の厚さが、第2の群のうち第1及び第2の電極に隣接していない他のイオン交換膜それぞれの厚さよりも厚い、請求項6又は請求項7記載の脱塩システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の脱塩システムを用いて、水流からイオンを除去する方法であって、
カチオンの少なくとも一部分を除去して第1の出力流を生成するため、第1の供給流を、第1の群の第1のチャネルに通すステップと、
第1の供給流から除去されたカチオンの少なくとも一部分を取り除くため、第2の供給流を、第1の群の第2のチャネルに通すステップと、
イオン除去のため、第1の出力流を、第2の群の第1のチャネルに通すステップと、
第1の出力流から除去されたイオンを運び去るため、第3の流れを、第2の群の第2のチャネルに通すステップと
を含む、方法。 - 第2の供給流が脱塩装置に導入される前に、第2の供給流中の一価カチオンの量を増加させるステップをさらに含む、請求項9記載の方法。
