b)このように被覆させた細長い鋼製エレメントを、リン化合物を含有する水性潤滑剤中で伸線加工するステップであって、リン化合物の量が、リンが被覆物の1平方メートル当たり1mgを超える量で被覆物上に存在するような量であるステップとを含む。
水性潤滑剤は、乳濁液であってもよいし、分散液であってもよい。リンの量は、好ましくは1平方メートル当たり4mg未満、例えば1平方メートル当たり3.5mg未満、例えば1平方メートル当たり3.0mg未満である。その理由は、リンの量が非常に多いと初期接着に負の効果を及ぼすからである。リンの量は、誘導結合プラズマ技術によって測定される。潤滑剤はさらに、被覆物中の銅と錯体化して不溶性膜を形成する1種または複数の化合物を有する。これらの化合物としては、トリアゾール、イミダゾール、およびインダゾールが挙げられる。
i)H2SO4溶液で酸洗いして、鋼製ワイヤの表面を清浄し、
ii)Cu2P2O7溶液からの銅で電気めっきし、その溶液は25g/lの銅および180g/lのピロリン酸塩を含有しており、電流密度は銅含有量をより高くするために8.6A/dm2以上であり、
iii)CoSO4溶液からのコバルトで電気めっきし、その溶液は40g/lのコバルトを含有しており、電流密度は22A/dm2であり、
iv)ZnSO4溶液からの亜鉛で電気めっきし、溶液は50g/lの亜鉛を含有しており、電流密度は亜鉛含有量をより低くするために8.8A/dm2以下であり、
v)熱拡散プロセスを施して、三元合金Cu−Co−Znを作製し、
vi)拡散プロセス中に形成された過剰のZnOを酸中でのディップにより除去し、
vii)濯ぎ、乾燥させる。
鋼製ワイヤ2は、以下の被覆物組成を有する。67.0重量%のCu、4.0重量%のCo、残りはZnである。
Claims (9)
- ゴム製品の補強用の細長い鋼製エレメントであって、
前記細長い鋼製エレメントは、0.10μm〜2.0μmの粗さR a のレベルを有し、
前記細長い鋼製エレメントが、銅−M−亜鉛の三元合金または四元合金被覆物の被覆物で覆われており、
Mが、コバルト、ニッケル、スズ、インジウム、マンガン、鉄、ビスマス、およびモリブデンからなる群から選択される1種または2種の金属であり、
前記被覆物内の前記銅含有量が、58重量%〜75重量%の範囲にあり、
前記被覆物内の前記1種または2種の金属含有量が、0.5重量%〜10重量%の範囲にあり、
残りが、亜鉛および不可避不純物であり、
前記1種または2種の金属が、前記被覆物全体にわたって存在し、
前記被覆物上および/または前記被覆物中に、前記被覆物の1平方メートル当たり1mgを超え、かつ、前記被覆物の1平方メートル当たり4mg未満の範囲の量でリンが存在し、前記リンの量が、誘導結合プラズマ技術によって測定され、
前記被覆物はさらに、ToF−SIMS技術により測定したときに、1種または複数の化合物の残分を含み、前記化合物が、前記被覆物中の銅と錯体化してその表面上に不溶性膜を形成する化合物である、細長い鋼製エレメント。 - 前記銅含有量が、61重量%〜70重量%の範囲にある、請求項1に記載の細長い鋼製エレメント。
- 前記1種または複数の金属含有量が、2重量%〜8重量%の範囲にある、請求項2に記載の細長い鋼製エレメント。

a)細長い鋼製エレメントを銅−M−亜鉛の三元合金または四元合金の被覆物で被覆するステップであって、Mが、コバルト、ニッケル、スズ、インジウム、マンガン、鉄、ビスマス、およびモリブデンからなる群から選択される1種または2種の金属であり、前記被覆物内の銅含有量が、58重量%〜75重量%の範囲にあり、前記被覆物内の前記1種または2種の金属含有量が、0.5重量%〜10重量%の範囲にあり、残りが、亜鉛および不可避不純物であり、前記1種または2種の金属が、前記被覆物全体にわたって存在するステップと、
