パワーシステムは、多数の目的および用途で用いられ得る。例示的なパワーシステムは、入力および出力パワーが電源などの電気的なものであるパワーコンバータを含む。他の例示的なパワーシステムは、入力パワーが電気的なものであり、出力パワーが主に機械的なものであるモータ制御システムなどのパワーコンバータを含む。パワーコンバータは、一般に、パワーコンバータの入力端子間に電圧を印加する電気エネルギ源に結合される。この電気エネルギ源は、直流供給源である場合もあれば、交流供給源である場合もある。1つの種類のパワーコンバータは、スイッチドモードパワーコンバータである。
電気エネルギ源がパワーシステムの入力端子から分離されたときにパワーシステムの入力端子間に存在するキャパシタンスを放電するための放電回路を実現する方法および装置について説明する。以下の説明では、本発明を完全に理解できるようにするために、多くの具体的な詳細について記載している。しかしながら、本発明を実施するために具体的な詳細を利用する必要がないことは当業者にとって明白である。他の例では、本発明を曖昧にすることを避けるために、周知の材料または方法については詳細に記載しなかった。
Claims (14)
- 回路であって、
パワーコンバータの入力に結合される制御回路を備え、前記制御回路は、電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの入力に結合されたかどうかを検出するために結合され、前記回路はさらに、
前記制御回路に結合され、かつ、前記パワーコンバータの前記入力に結合されたスイッチを備え、
前記制御回路は、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力に結合される第1の動作モードにおいて前記スイッチを駆動するように結合され、
前記スイッチは、前記第1の動作モードにおいて前記パワーコンバータの前記入力から前記パワーコンバータの出力へのエネルギの流れを調整するように駆動され、
前記制御回路は、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力から分離される第2の動作モードにおいて前記スイッチを駆動するように結合され、
前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の入力端子間に結合されたキャパシタンスは、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力端子から分離されたときから最大期間未満の期間のうちに、前記スイッチによってしきい電圧に放電され、前記制御回路は、前記第1の動作モードにおいて高い平均インピーダンスを有するように前記スイッチを駆動するように結合される、回路。 - 前記スイッチは、前記回路の始動局面中に、前記回路の動作のための開始電流を提供するように結合される、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記パワーコンバータの出力は、電気的、光学的または機械的エネルギを提供するように結合される、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記スイッチは、スタンバイ状態を提供するようにオフ状態に駆動される、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記スイッチは、力率改善制御回路の機能を実行するように駆動される、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記最大期間は、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力から分離される前の前記パワーコンバータの入力と前記パワーコンバータの出力との間のエネルギの流れの量の影響を受けない、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記回路を通る電流の流れは、前記第1の動作モードでは30μA未満である、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 回路であって、
パワーコンバータの入力に結合された制御回路を備え、前記制御回路は、電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の入力端子間に結合されたかどうかを検知するために結合され、前記回路はさらに、
前記制御回路に結合され、かつ、前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の前記入力端子に結合されたスイッチを備え、前記制御回路は、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の前記入力端子間に結合されたときに高い平均インピーダンスを有するように前記スイッチを駆動するように結合され、前記制御回路は、前記電気エネルギ源が前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の前記入力端子から分離されたときから最大期間未満の期間のうちに、前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の入力端子間に結合されたキャパシタンスをしきい電圧未満に放電するように前記スイッチを駆動するように結合され、
前記スイッチは、前記回路の始動局面中に、前記回路の動作のために前記スイッチを通って流れる開始電流を提供するように結合されて構成される、回路。 - 前記パワーコンバータの前記入力の前記入力端子間に結合された前記キャパシタンスは、1つ以上のXキャパシタを備える、請求項1または8に記載の回路。
- 前記制御回路および前記スイッチは、集積回路に含まれる、請求項1または8に記載の回路。
- 前記スイッチは、前記パワーコンバータの整流回路の出力の両端に結合される、請求項1または8に記載の回路。
- 前記電気エネルギ源は、交流電圧源である、請求項8に記載の回路。
- 前記パワーコンバータは、ブーストコンバータ、フライバックコンバータ、フォワードコンバータ、LLCコンバータのうちの1つである、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記しきい電圧は、安全超低電圧(SELV)レベルである、請求項1に記載の回路。
