Description
本発明の一側面においては、バッテリーケースの軽量化を図ることが望ましい。
図1は、実施形態のバッテリーケース1の斜視図、図2は、図1のII−II断面図である。バッテリーケース1は、例えば図3に示すように、電気自動車(EV)やプラグインハイブリッド車(PHV)などの自動車9の床下に配置されている。バッテリーケース1は、ロアケース2と、アッパーケース3と、補強材4と、樹脂発泡材5と、を備える。
バッテリーケース1は、ロアケース2と、ロアケース2とともに閉空間を形成するためのアッパーケース3と、閉空間の内壁面(ロアケース2の内壁面)に沿って設けられた樹脂発泡材5と、閉空間においてロアケース2の内壁面との間で樹脂発泡材5を挟むように設けられた補強材4と、を備える。本実施形態によれば、樹脂発泡材5を用いた補強構造により、補強材4を簡素化することができるため、部品点数の削減や部品の小型化を図ることができ、その結果、軽量化を図ることができる。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記実施形態に限定されることなく、種々の形態を採り得ることは言うまでもない。
Claims (5)
- 第1のケーシング部材と、
前記第1のケーシング部材とともに閉空間を形成するための第2のケーシング部材と、
前記閉空間の内壁面に沿って設けられた発泡材と、
前記閉空間において前記内壁面との間で前記発泡材を挟むように設けられた補強材と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリーケース。 - 請求項1に記載のバッテリーケースであって、
前記補強材は、ホットスタンプ加工で形成されている
ことを特徴とするバッテリーケース。 - 請求項2に記載のバッテリーケースであって、
前記第1のケーシング部材及び前記第2のケーシング部材は、ホットスタンプ加工で形成されていない金属製の部材である
ことを特徴とするバッテリーケース。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーケースであって、
前記閉空間は、前記第1のケーシング部材及び前記第2のケーシング部材のみから形成され、
前記補強材は、前記閉空間の内部に収容されている
ことを特徴とするバッテリーケース。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーケースであって、
前記補強材は、
前記第2のケーシング部材の底面に溶接された第1の板部と、
前記第2のケーシング部材の内側面に対して間隔を空けて対向する第2の板部と、
前記第2のケーシング部材の底面に対して間隔を空けて対向する第3の板部と、
前記第2のケーシング部材の内側面に溶接された第4の板部と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリーケース。
