Abstract

188,355. Trench, S., and Browne, G. W. July 5, 1921. Cases.-A box 1 for holding an accumulator is provided with an inner box 11 carried by a cradle 10 supported by springs 9, 13. The springs 9 are secured at their upper ends to a frame 8 fixed to the outer box 1. Springs 14 are fastened to the lid 3 of the outer box and bear upon contact strips 18 on the lid of the inner box, the accumulator terminals being connected to the strips 18 by leads 19. Leads also connect the springs 14 to the external terminals 15. One of the sides of the box 1 may form a hinged door.
