Claims (3)
- 対向する一対の電極間に誘電体を設けて放電空間を形成し、該放電空間に酸素を含む原料ガスを流入させてオゾンを生成するオゾン発生電極であって、
前記一対の電極の互いに対向する各表面に対してそれぞれ隙間を設けて前記誘電体を配置することで、前記放電空間を前記誘電体で仕切って二層の放電空間を形成し、
各放電空間の一方の端部同士を折り返し流路によって互いに連通させることで、前記原料ガスを各放電空間に順に流通可能とし、
前記二層の放電空間は、前記原料ガスの流通方向で、上流側となる放電空間よりも下流側となる放電空間の前記隙間が小さいことを特徴とするオゾン発生電極。 - 請求項1記載のオゾン発生電極において、
前記一対の電極は、筒状の内側電極と、該内側電極の外周側に設けられる筒状の外側電極であり、
前記誘電体は、筒状であると共に、前記内側電極の外周面に設置された内側スペーサと、前記外側電極の内周面に設置された外側スペーサとで支持されることを特徴とするオゾン発生電極。 - 請求項2記載のオゾン発生電極において、
前記内側スペーサ及び前記外側スペーサの少なくとも一方は、前記原料ガスの流通方向に延在するように設けられ、前記放電空間を周方向に区画していることを特徴とするオゾン発生電極。
