Description
合成ポリマーフレキシブル管であって、

(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えた管継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)フレキシブル管及び管を包囲する外装層を用意するステップと、
(iii)シール領域に導入するシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)管継手をホースの端に嵌めるステップと、
(v)上記管端とシール材料との間及び管継手とシール材料との間それぞれのシール領域内で永久的なポリマー間及びポリマー・金属間化学結合を形成するステップと
を含み、シール材料は、非エラストマー性であり、シール材料及びフレキシブル管の少なくとも一部の両方が、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む群から選択される同類の合成ポリマーからなる方法が提供される。
エラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、
(i)半結晶質熱可塑性内側ライナー層と、
(ii)フレキシブルホースの端で内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層と、
(iii)ホースの端に配置され外装層を包囲するホース継手と、
(iv)ホース継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(v)シール領域に配置された半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料と
を備え、上記ホース端における内側ライナー層の一部はシール領域まで延びてシール材料に結合される、エラストマーフレキシブルホースにおいて、補強材料が内側ライナー層内に設けられることを特徴とするエラストマーフレキシブルホースが提供される。
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えたホース継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)半結晶性熱可塑性内側ライナー層及びフレキシブルホースの端で内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層を備えたホースを用意するステップと、
(iii)シール領域に導入するための半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)内側ライナー層内に補強材料を設けるステップと、
(v)管継手をホースの端に嵌めるステップと、
(vi)ホース端とシール材料との間及びホース継手とシール材料との間それぞれのシール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップと
を含む方法が提供される。
Claims (27)
- 高圧及び/又は高温の炭化水素液又は炭化水素ガスの輸送用のエラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、
(i)半結晶質熱可塑性内側ライナー層と、
(ii)該フレキシブルホースの端で前記内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層と、
(iii)該ホースの前記端に配置され前記外装層を包囲するホース継手と、
(iv)前記ホース継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(v)前記シール領域に配置された半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料と
を備え、前記ホース端における前記内側ライナー層の一部は前記シール領域まで延びて前記シール材料に結合される、エラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、補強材料が前記内側ライナー層内に収まるように設けられ、さらに前記内側ライナー層は、接合層によって前記ホース継手の内面に結合されることを特徴とするエラストマーフレキシブルホース。 - 請求項1に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、前記半結晶性熱可塑性材料に結合されないフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーを含むフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項3に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、2つ以上の別個の螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーが相互連結配置されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、該フレキシブルホースの長手軸に対して25°〜85°の角度で前記内側ライナー層内に巻回配置されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維、UHmwPE(超高分子量ポリエチレン)繊維及びアラミド繊維を含むリストから選択される1つ又は複数の繊維ストランド及び/又はロービングを含むフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、電気発熱体が前記内側ライナー層内に設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、円筒形スリーブ部材が、該フレキシブルホースの前記端で前記内側ライナーの下に配置され、前記シール領域に近接した前記ホース継手と協働して前記シール領域まで延びる前記内側ライナー層の一部を支持するフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記シール材料は、注入可能な流動性又は溶融合成ポリマーとして設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記シール材料は、固形溶融性シールとして設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項10に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記固形溶融性シールは、繊維、粗粒子、チップ又は微粉を含む群の1つ又は複数から選択される金属粒子を含むフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項11に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、種々のサイズの金属粒子が前記固形溶融性シールに分布するフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記内側ライナー層は、圧着又は加締め接続によって前記ホース継手に連結されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、該フレキシブルホースの全ての隣接層が、永久接続で部分的又は完全に結合されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、外側被覆層が前記外装層を包囲し、半結晶性熱可塑性材料を含むフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項15に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、補強材料が前記外側被覆層内に設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項16に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、スチールコード、スチールストランド、繊維ストランド及び繊維ロービングを含むリストから選択される1つ又は複数の材料を含むフレキシブルホース。

- 請求項16〜19のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記外側被覆層内の前記補強材料は、布又はプライテープ内に設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項1〜20のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、ステンレス鋼相互連結被覆層が該フレキシブルホースの外部を包囲するフレキシブルホース。
- 高圧及び/又は高温の炭化水素液又は炭化水素ガスの輸送用のエラストマーフレキシブルホースを製造する方法であって、
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えたホース継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)半結晶性熱可塑性内側ライナー層及び該フレキシブルホースの端で前記内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層を備えたホースを用意するステップと、
(iii)前記シール領域に導入するための半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)前記内側ライナー層内に収まるように補強材料を設けるステップと、
(v)前記ホース継手の内面に施した接合層を設けて前記ホース継手及び前記内側ライナー層を結合するステップと、
(vi)前記管継手を前記ホースの前記端に嵌めるステップと、
(vii)前記ホース端と前記シール材料との間及び前記ホース継手と前記シール材料との間それぞれの前記シール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップとを含む方法。 - 請求項22に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップは、前記ホース継手を前記ホース端に嵌める前に、前記ホースに近接して固形溶融性シールを取り付けることによって前記シール材料を前記シール領域に導入することを含む方法。
- 請求項23に記載の方法において、前記ホース継手を前記ホース端に嵌めるステップの次に、前記ホース端の内面の下に支持部材を導入するステップが続き、該支持部材は、前記シール領域内で前記固形溶融性シールを溶融させる加熱器を組み込む方法。
- 請求項24に記載の方法において、前記支持部材を導入するステップは、永久的な化学結合を形成したまま前記ホース端の前記内面に対して一時的に膨張させられる膨張式支持部材を用いることを含む方法。
