Abstract
Description
合成ポリマーフレキシブル管であって、
(i)フレキシブル管の端を包囲する外装層と、
(ii)管の端に配置され外装層を包囲する管継手と、
(iii)管継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(iv)シール領域に配置されたシール材料と
を備え、上記管端はシール領域まで延びてシール材料に結合される、合成ポリマーフレキシブル管において、シール材料は非エラストマー性であり、シール材料及びフレキシブル管の両方は、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む群から選択される同類の合成ポリマーを含むことを特徴とする、合成ポリマーフレキシブル管が提供される。
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えた管継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)フレキシブル管及び管を包囲する外装層を用意するステップと、
(iii)シール領域に導入するシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)管継手をホースの端に嵌めるステップと、
(v)上記管端とシール材料との間及び管継手とシール材料との間それぞれのシール領域内で永久的なポリマー間及びポリマー・金属間化学結合を形成するステップと
を含み、シール材料は、非エラストマー性であり、シール材料及びフレキシブル管の少なくとも一部の両方が、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む群から選択される同類の合成ポリマーからなる方法が提供される。
エラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、
(i)半結晶質熱可塑性内側ライナー層と、
(ii)フレキシブルホースの端で内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層と、
(iii)ホースの端に配置され外装層を包囲するホース継手と、
(iv)ホース継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(v)シール領域に配置された半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料と
を備え、上記ホース端における内側ライナー層の一部はシール領域まで延びてシール材料に結合される、エラストマーフレキシブルホースにおいて、補強材料が内側ライナー層内に設けられることを特徴とするエラストマーフレキシブルホースが提供される。
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えたホース継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)半結晶性熱可塑性内側ライナー層及びフレキシブルホースの端で内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層を備えたホースを用意するステップと、
(iii)シール領域に導入するための半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)内側ライナー層内に補強材料を設けるステップと、
(v)管継手をホースの端に嵌めるステップと、
(vi)ホース端とシール材料との間及びホース継手とシール材料との間それぞれのシール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップと
を含む方法が提供される。
Claims (65)
- 合成ポリマーフレキシブル管であって、
(i)該フレキシブル管の端を包囲する外装層と、
(ii)前記管の前記端に配置され前記外装層を包囲する管継手と、
(iii)前記管継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(iv)前記シール領域に配置されたシール材料と
を備え、前記管端は前記シール領域まで延びて前記シール材料に結合される、合成ポリマーフレキシブル管において、前記シール材料は非エラストマー性であり、前記シール材料及び該フレキシブル管の両方は、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む群から選択される同類の合成ポリマーを含むことを特徴とする、合成ポリマーフレキシブル管。 - 請求項1に記載のフレキシブル管において、該フレキシブル管及び前記シール材料は、それぞれが半結晶性熱可塑性材料を含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記シール材料は、注入可能な流動性又は溶融合成ポリマーとして設けられるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記シール材料は、固形溶融性シールとして設けられるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項4に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記固形溶融性シールは、繊維、粗粒子、チップ又は微粉を含む群の1つ又は複数から選択される金属粒子を含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項5に記載のフレキシブル管において、種々のサイズの金属粒子が前記固形溶融性シールに分布するフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、該フレキシブル管の内側ライナー層のみが、前記シール領域まで延びる半結晶性熱可塑性材料を含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、補強材料が前記内側ライナー層内に設けられるが、該内側ライナー層の半結晶性熱可塑性材料には結合されないフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、補強材料が前記内側ライナー層内に設けられ、接着接合層によって前記内側ライナー層の半結晶性熱可塑性材料に完全に結合されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項8又は9に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記補強材料は、螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーを含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項10に記載のフレキシブル管において、2つ以上の別個の螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーが相互連結配置されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記補強材料は、該フレキシブル管の長手軸に対して25°〜85°の角度で前記内側ライナー層内に巻回配置されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項8〜12のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記補強材料は、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維、UHmwPE(超高分子量ポリエチレン)繊維及びアラミド繊維を含むリストから選択される1つ又は複数の繊維ストランド及び/又はロービングを含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項7〜13のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、電気発熱体が前記内側ライナー層内に設けられるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項14に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記電気発熱体は、導電線、導電ケーブル、導電布又は導電性複合材を含むリストから選択される1つ又は複数の材料を含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項7〜15のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記内側ライナー層の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、ポリマー間結合によって前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料に直接結合されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項7〜16のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、ポリマー・金属間結合によって前記管継手に直接結合されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項7〜16のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、中間接着接合層を介して前記内側ライナー層及び/又は前記管継手に間接的に結合されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項18に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記接着接合層も半結晶性熱可塑性材料を含むフレキシブル管。
- 請求項2〜19のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記内側ライナー層及び/又は前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)材料であるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項2〜19のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記内側ライナー層及び/又は前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、架橋ポリエチレン(PEX)材料であるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項2〜19のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記内側ライナー層及び/又は前記シール材料の半結晶性熱可塑性材料は、パーフルオロアルコキシ(PFA)材料であるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項1〜22のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記管継手は、金属又は合金から形成されるフレキシブル管。
- 請求項2〜23のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、円筒形スリーブ部材が、該フレキシブル管の前記端で前記内側ライナーの下に配置され、前記シール領域に近接した前記管継手と協働して該シール領域まで延びる前記内側ライナー層の一部を支持するフレキシブル管。
- 請求項24に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記円筒形スリーブ部材の外面が、該管の中心長手軸に対して鋭角で傾斜しているフレキシブル管。
- 請求項2〜25のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル管において、前記内側ライナー層は、圧着又は加締め接続によって前記管継手に連結されるフレキシブル管。
- 合成ポリマーフレキシブル管を製造する方法であって、
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えた管継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)フレキシブル管及び該管を包囲する外装層を用意するステップと、
(iii)前記シール領域に導入するシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)前記管継手を前記ホースの端に嵌めるステップと、
(v)前記管端と前記シール材料との間及び前記管継手と前記シール材料との間それぞれの前記シール領域内で永久的なポリマー間及びポリマー・金属間化学結合を形成するステップと
を含み、前記シール材料は、非エラストマー性であり、前記シール材料及び前記フレキシブル管の少なくとも一部の両方が、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む群から選択される同類の合成ポリマーからなる方法。 - 請求項27に記載の方法において、前記フレキシブル管内に補強手段を設けるさらなるステップを含む方法。
- 請求項27又は28に記載の方法において、前記管継手を前記管端に嵌めるステップの前又は後に、支持部材を前記管端の内面の下に導入する方法。
- 請求項29に記載の方法において、前記支持部材は、前記管端の直径を拡大するために前記管継手を嵌める前に導入され、前記管継手を嵌めると拡大部が前記シール領域に近接して支持される方法。
- 請求項27〜30のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内に永久的な化学結合を形成するステップは、前記シール領域を前記管継手の外部につなげる通路を通した注入によって前記シール材料を前記シール領域に導入することを含む方法。
- 請求項27〜30のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内に永久的な化学結合を形成するステップは、前記管継手を前記管端に嵌める前に、該管端に近接して固形溶融性シールを前記管に取り付けることによって前記シール材料を前記シール領域に導入することを含む方法。
- 請求項32に記載の方法において、前記管継手を前記管端に嵌めるステップの次に、前記管端の内面の下に前記支持部材を導入するステップが続き、前記支持部材は、前記シール領域内で前記固形溶融性シールを溶融させる加熱器を組み込む方法。
- 請求項33に記載の方法において、前記支持部材を導入するステップは、永久的な化学結合を形成したまま前記管端の前記内面に対して一時的に膨張させられる膨張式支持部材を用いることを含む方法。
- 請求項33に記載の方法において、前記支持部材を導入するステップの次に、該支持部材を前記管端の前記内面に対して永久的に加締めることが続く方法。
- 請求項33〜35のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内で前記固形溶融性シールを溶融させるステップは、負圧を与えて実質的に全ての空気を前記シール領域から除去するステップを伴う方法。
- 請求項27〜36のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記フレキシブル管を用意するステップ及び前記シール材料を用意するステップはそれぞれ、半結晶性熱可塑性材料を含む管及びシール材料を用意することを含む方法。
- 請求項27〜37のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記永久的な化学結合を形成するステップは、前記シール材料を冷却することを含む方法。
- エラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、
(i)半結晶質熱可塑性内側ライナー層と、
(ii)該フレキシブルホースの端で前記内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層と、
(iii)該ホースの前記端に配置され前記外装層を包囲するホース継手と、
(iv)前記ホース継手の凹部によって画定されるシール領域と、
(v)前記シール領域に配置された半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料と
を備え、前記ホース端における前記内側ライナー層の一部は前記シール領域まで延びて前記シール材料に結合される、エラストマーフレキシブルホースであって、補強材料が前記内側ライナー層内に設けられることを特徴とするエラストマーフレキシブルホース。 - 請求項39に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、前記半結晶性熱可塑性材料に結合されないフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項39又は40に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーを含むフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項41に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、2つ以上の別個の螺旋巻回スチールコード及び/又はスチールワイヤーが相互連結配置されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項39〜42のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、該フレキシブルホースの長手軸に対して25°〜85°の角度で前記内側ライナー層内に巻回配置されるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項39〜43のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記補強材料は、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維、UHmwPE(超高分子量ポリエチレン)繊維及びアラミド繊維を含むリストから選択される1つ又は複数の繊維ストランド及び/又はロービングを含むフレキシブルホース。

- 請求項39〜46のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記シール材料は、注入可能な流動性又は溶融合成ポリマーとして設けられるフレキシブルホース。
- 請求項39〜45のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルホースにおいて、前記シール材料は、固形溶融性シールとして設けられるフレキシブルホース。

- エラストマーフレキシブルホースを製造する方法であって、
(i)シール領域を画定する凹部を備えたホース継手を用意するステップと、
(ii)半結晶性熱可塑性内側ライナー層及び該フレキシブルホースの端で前記内側ライナー層を包囲する外装層を備えたホースを用意するステップと、
(iii)前記シール領域に導入するための半結晶性熱可塑性シール材料又は架橋エラストマーシール材料を用意するステップと、
(iv)前記内側ライナー層内に補強材料を設けるステップと、
(v)前記管継手を前記ホースの前記端に嵌めるステップと、
(vi)前記ホース端と前記シール材料との間及び前記ホース継手と前記シール材料との間それぞれの前記シール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項60に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内で永久的な化学結合を形成するステップは、前記ホース継手を前記ホース端に嵌める前に、前記ホースに近接して固形溶融性シールを取り付けることによって前記シール材料を前記シール領域に導入することを含む方法。
- 請求項61に記載の方法において、前記ホース継手を前記ホース端に嵌めるステップの次に、前記ホース端の内面の下に支持部材を導入するステップが続き、該支持部材は、前記シール領域内で前記固形溶融性シールを溶融させる加熱器を組み込む方法。
- 請求項62に記載の方法において、前記支持部材を導入するステップは、永久的な化学結合を形成したまま前記ホース端の前記内面に対して一時的に膨張させられる膨張式支持部材を用いることを含む方法。
- 請求項62に記載の方法において、前記支持部材を導入するステップの次に、該支持部材を前記ホース端の前記内面に対して永久的に加締めることが続く方法。
- 請求項60〜64のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記シール領域内で前記固形溶融性シールを溶融させるステップは、負圧を与えて実質的に全ての空気を前記シール領域から除去するステップを伴う方法。
