Description
Claims (7)
- 画素電極とTFTを有する画素が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板と対向した対向基板とがシール材によって接着し、内部に液晶が封入され、前記TFT基板側には下偏光板が貼り付けられ、前記対向基板側には上偏光板が貼り付けられた液晶表示パネルにおいて、前記上偏光板の前記対向基板が貼り付けられた側と反対側の面には、第1の基板がUV樹脂によって貼り付けられた液晶表示装置であって、
前記液晶表示パネルはIPS方式であり、
前記液晶表示パネルは前記液晶の封入孔を有しておらず、
前記TFT基板には、断面が台形状であって、上底が前記対向基板側を向いた柱状スペーサが形成され、前記上底径が4μm〜8μmである柱状スペーサが形成されており、
前記対向基板には厚さが1μm〜3μmであるオーバーコート膜が形成されており、
柱状スペーサ面積比率を(対向基板に接触している全柱状スペーサの面積の総和)/(表示領域の面積)とした場合、柱状スペーサ面積比率×上底径が、0.04μm〜0.05μmであり、
前記柱状スペーサの前記上底は、前記オーバーコート膜に差し込まれていることを特徴とする特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶表示パネルの中央における厚さは前記液晶表示パネルの周辺における厚さよりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記オーバーコート膜の厚さは、1.5μm〜2μmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の基板はフロントウインドウであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の基板はタッチパネルであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記対向基板は厚さが0.2mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記オーバーコート膜には、弾性変形により、前記柱状スペーサが差し込まれていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
