Description
質量平均分子量50,000〜140,000、ガラス転移点25〜35℃、水酸基価10〜50mgKOH/g、酸価10〜40mgKOH/gのアクリル樹脂(1)、及び、エポキシ当量210〜1,000g/eqのエポキシ樹脂(2)を含有し、
アクリル樹脂(1)固形分100質量部に対してエポキシ樹脂(2)を固形分換算で5〜20質量部含有する防食塗料組成物によって形成された防食塗膜層及び
防食塗膜層上に形成されたクリヤー塗膜層
を有する透明複層塗膜層が表面に形成されていることを特徴とするアルミホイールでもある。
上記範囲内とすることで、良好な外観とエッジカバー性の付与を両立することができるという効果が得られる点で好ましい。
このようなクリヤー塗料組成物を使用することによって、防食塗膜との密着性が良好となり、化成処理皮膜、防食塗膜、クリヤー塗膜からなる複層塗膜として、塩害を受けやすい地域での使用においても、腐食を防ぐことができるような防食性、密着性を実現することができるという点で好ましい効果が得られる。
(1,1,3,3−テトラメチルブチル)−6−(2N−ベンゾトリアゾール−2−イル)フェノール]等のベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤等を挙げることができる。これらは、単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。上記紫外線吸収剤の含有量は、上記アクリル樹脂(5)と上記メラミン樹脂の(6)固形分合計100質量部に対して、固形分として1〜5質量部であることが好ましい。1質量部未満であると、耐候性試験時にクラックが発生するおそれがあり、5質量部を超えると、硬化性が低下するおそれがある。
炭化水素系溶剤/アルコール系溶剤/エステル系溶剤を表1に記載の配合比率(質量部)で混合した溶剤(以下、混合溶剤と略す)を用意し、アクリル樹脂、粉末シリカ、混合溶剤を、表1に記載した比率で、ガラスビーズを用いたバッチ式分散機でツブゲージ5μm以下(JIS K−5600−2−5)になるまで粉末シリカを分散した。分散物を別容器に取り出し攪拌しながら表1に基づくエポキシ樹脂ワニスを加え、次いで同様に架橋性重合体粒子溶液および添加剤を加えて各防食塗料組成物を製造した。
なお、表中のアクリル樹脂以外の各成分は、以下のものである。
エポキシ樹脂;EXS−1003(日本ペイント社製) エポキシ当量480g/eq
粉末シリカ;アエロジル300(日本アエロジル社製)個数平均粒子径7nm、比表面積300m2/g
架橋性重合体粒子;AZS−1230(日本ペイント社製)一次粒子の個数平均径69nm
密着性付与剤;シランカップリング剤KBM−403(3−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン;信越化学工業社製)
表面調整剤;レジミックス(三井化学社製)
アクリル樹脂Mとアクリル樹脂Nとを固形分質量比が1:2になるように混合し、更にアアクリル樹脂Mとアクリル樹脂Nとの合計量とメラミン樹脂との固形分質量比が70:30になるようにメラミン樹脂を混合した。さらに、アクリル樹脂Mとアクリル樹脂Nとメラミン樹脂の合計固形分質量100部に対し、架橋性重合体粒子を2部、紫外線吸収剤を4部、光安定剤を2部添加して、均一になるように混合し、クリヤー塗料を製造した。
アクリル樹脂M;ダイヤナールHR554(三菱レイヨン社製) Mw4000、Tg10℃、水酸基価 95mgKOH/g、酸価 22mgKOH/g
アクリル樹脂N;ACR−461(日本ペイント社製) Mw8300、Tg 25℃、水酸基価 70mgKOH/g、酸価 20mgKOH/g
メラミン樹脂;MFS1000(日本ペイント社製)Mw1500
架橋性重合体粒子;AZS−797(日本ペイント社製)一次粒子の個数平均径94nm
紫外線吸収剤;CHISORB234(Double Bond Chemical社製)
光安定剤;CHISORB292(Double Bond Chemical社製)
アルミホイールに対して脱脂、水洗、酸洗処理、水洗を行った後、以下に示した条件で化成処理を行い、水洗、乾燥後、防食塗料組成物による塗装を行った。各工程は、全てディップ方式で処理を行い、乾燥は、電気乾燥機で120℃、15分間行った。化成処理液は、以下の組成を有するものを使用した。
化成処理液:ジルコニウムイオン0.025g/リットル、リン酸イオン0.07g/リットル、アルミニウムイオン0.04g/リットル、全フッ素イオン(F−)0.115g/リットル、遊離フッ素イオン(F−)0.005g/リットルの組成を有する化成処理液(pH3.2)、処理温度:40℃、浸漬処理時間:45秒。
切削加工されたアルミホイールに上記前処理を行った後に、各防食塗料組成物を、熱硬化後に切削面上で20μmの膜厚になるように、全面にエアースプレーした。その上にクリヤー塗料を、切削面上で、30μmの膜厚になるように全面にエアースプレーし、焼付(アルミホイールの表面温度を140℃まで上昇させ、20分間保持すること)して熱硬化した。
CASS試験用各試験片の表面をカッターナイフにより10cm長さでカットし、JISZ2371−2000で調整されたCASS試験液を50±2℃で240時間噴霧を行い、カット部の周辺3mm以内における腐食の度合いを評価した。その結果において、塗膜の片側最大錆幅が3mm以下を良好とした。得られた結果を表2に示す。
CASS試験において、切削エッジ部の腐食の度合いを評価した。錆が全くないものをA錆が1〜3点発生しているものをB、錆が4点以上発生しているものをCとした。
塗膜にカットを入れ、「塩水噴霧を24時間行い、その後、120時間、湿潤(湿度85%、40℃)させ、続いて、24時間、室温で自然乾燥させる」とのサイクルを8サイクル行い、カット部の片側の錆幅を測定した。その結果において、塗膜の錆幅が2mm以下を良好とした。得られた結果を表2に示す。
上述したCASS試験の方法による試験を行った後に、上述した耐糸錆性試験による塩水噴霧を行って、その後のカット部片側の錆幅を測定した。その結果において、片側最大錆幅10mm以下を良好とした。得られた結果を表2に示す。
グラベロ試験機(スガ試験機製、JA−400LA)にて、飛び石試験機と試験片の距離が350mmとなるようにセットし、玄武岩6号砕石(日本舗道製)を篩にかけ、4.8〜8.0mmの大きさに調節した新品の飛び石100gを、射出圧力0.4MPaで試験片に射出した。評価は各試験片において傷の大きなものから10点を選択し、10点の長径の平均値が2.81mm未満をA、2.81mm以上をCとした。
Claims (4)
- アルミホイールにジルコニウム系の化成処理を行う工程及び
当該アルミホイール上に防食塗料組成物を塗布した後、クリヤー塗料組成物を塗布して透明複層塗膜を形成させる工程を有するアルミホイールの塗装方法において、
前記防食塗料組成物は、質量平均分子量50,000〜140,000、ガラス転移点25〜35℃、水酸基価10〜50mgKOH/g、酸価10〜40mgKOH/gのアクリル樹脂(1)、及び、エポキシ当量210〜1,000g/eqのエポキシ樹脂(2)を含有し、
アクリル樹脂(1)固形分100質量部に対してエポキシ樹脂(2)を固形分換算で5〜20質量部含有する防食塗料組成物であることを特徴とするアルミホイールの塗装方法。 - 前記防食塗料組成物が、更に、上記成分(1)及び(2)の合計固形分100質量部に対して、一次粒子の個数平均径が7〜9nm、比表面積(BET法)200〜380m2/gの粉末シリカ(3)5〜20質量部、及び、一次粒子の個数平均径が50〜80nmの架橋性重合体粒子(4)1〜10質量部を配合した防食塗料組成物である請求項1に記載のアルミホイールの塗装方法。
- 前記クリヤー塗料組成物は、アクリル樹脂(5)と、メラミン樹脂(6)とを配合し、更に、上記成分(5)と(6)との固形分の合計100質量部に対して、紫外線吸収剤(7)、及び、光安定剤(8)をそれぞれ1〜5質量部を含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のアルミホイールの塗装方法。
- ジルコニウム系の化成処理層を有するアルミホイール上に
質量平均分子量50,000〜140,000、ガラス転移点25〜35℃、水酸基価10〜50mgKOH/g、酸価10〜40mgKOH/gのアクリル樹脂(1)、及び、エポキシ当量210〜1,000g/eqのエポキシ樹脂(2)を含有し、
アクリル樹脂(1)固形分100質量部に対してエポキシ樹脂(2)を固形分換算で5〜20質量部含有する防食塗料組成物によって形成された防食塗膜層及び
防食塗膜層上に形成されたクリヤー塗膜層
を有する透明複層塗膜層が表面に形成されていることを特徴とするアルミホイール。
