Description
ところが近年では塗工物が短時間で得られるといった生産性の向上が要求され、塗工後ですぐに乾燥・硬化する活性エネルギー線硬化型オーバープリントワニス組成物が開発され使用されるようになっている。
該活性エネルギー線硬化型ワニスが、
1)重量平均分子量が5000〜12000のスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1)を10〜39重量%
(但し、前記(A1)は、
スチレン系単量体(a1)70〜90重量%、
(a1)と共重合可能でカルボキシル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸単量体
(a2)1〜20重量%、
(a1)および(a2)と共重合可能でアミノ基及びカルボキシル基を含まない
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(a3)としてステアリルメタクリレート
5〜25重量%、
を共重合させてなり、(a1)と(a2)と(a3)との合計は100重量%とする)
2)エチレンオキサイド又はプロピレンオキサイドで変性された(メタ)アクリロイル基を少なくとも1個有する光重合性単量体(B)を50〜85重量%、
3)光重合開始剤(C)を0〜20重量%
ならびに
4)シリコーン系添加剤(D1)を0.1〜10重量%
(但し、1)〜4)の合計は100重量%とする)
5)重量平均分子量が5000〜12000のスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A2)
(但し、前記(A2)は、
スチレン系単量体(a1)70〜95重量%、
(a1)と共重合可能なアミノ基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸単量体(a4)
5〜30重量%、
を共重合させてなる)
を含有することを特徴とする積層体の製造方法に関するものである。
表面加工方法としては、紙基材面または該紙基材面にオフセット印刷インキで印刷した該印刷面に活性エネルギー線硬化型ワニスを塗工し、繰返し使用できる美粧性を有するポリオレフィンフィルムを塗工面に重ね合わせた後、活性エネルギー線にて塗膜を硬化させ、該ポリオレフィンフィルムを剥離させる順序を経る。

(ここで、R2およびR4は、一般式(1)で定義した通り)
紫外線吸収剤としては、サリチル酸系紫外線吸収剤、ベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤、ベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤、トリアジン系紫外線吸収剤、シアノアクリレート系紫外線吸収剤等の有機系紫外線吸収剤、或いは酸化亜鉛、酸化チタン、酸化セリウムの微粒子からなる無機系紫外線吸収剤が挙げられる。
なお、本明細書において実施例1〜8、および10〜14は参考例である。
溶剤に酢酸エチル、重合開始剤に2、2'−アゾビス(2−メチルプロピオニトリル)を用い、以下の単量体の配合で公知の溶液重合を行い、酢酸エチルを蒸発、乾固させて、固形のスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1−1〜12、A2、A3)を得た。重量平均分子量は重合開始剤の配合量により調節を行った。
スチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1)
A1−1:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=85/5/10の 共重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−2:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=70/5/25の 共重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−3:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=70/20/10 の共重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−4:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=90/5/5の共 重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−5:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=85/5/10の 共重合体、重量平均分子量5000
A1−6:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=85/5/10の 共重合体、重量平均分子量12000
A1−7:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=60/30/10 の共重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−8:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=95/0/5の共 重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−9:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=60/10/30 の共重合体、重量平均分子量8000
A1−10:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=78/20/2 の共重合体、重量平均分子量8000

スチレン−アクリル樹脂(A2)
A2:スチレン/2−(N,N−ジメチルアミノ)エチルメタクリレート=90/10 の共重合体、重量平均分子量11000
カルボキシル基およびアミノ基を含まないスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A3)
A3:スチレン/メタクリル酸/ステアリルメタクリレート=90/0/10の共重 合体、重量平均分子量11000
合成したスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1−1)20重量%を、トリメチロールプロパン(EO)変性トリアクリレート(B1)40重量%およびトリプロピレングリコールジアクリレート(B2)33重量%で加熱溶解する。その後室温に冷却し、α−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルアセトフェノン(C1)5重量%を配合して溶解を確認した後、BYK−322(D1)2重量%を添加して攪拌し、ワニス1を得た。
実施例2〜14、比較例1〜10で用いた活性エネルギー線硬化型ワニス2〜24の配合を表1、表2に示す。上記のスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1−2〜12、A2、A3)、上記または下記の光重合性単量体(B)、光重合開始剤(C)を用いてワニス2〜24を得た。

B3:1,6−ヘキサンジオール(EO)変性ジアクリレート
3)光重合開始剤(C)
C2:ジフェニル−2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイルフォスフィンオキサイド
4)増感剤
E1:ジエタノールメチルアミン
塗工1日後、塗工面に刃物で支持紙基材に達するまでの深さまで傷を付け、その上にセロハンテープを貼り合わせ、基材の垂直方向に勢いよく剥がした。塗工面の剥がれ具合を評価した。
判定基準
5:剥がれ無し
4:ほとんど剥がれ無し
3:若干剥がれ有り
2:剥がれ有り
1:全て剥がれる
塗工1日後にMEKを浸み込ませた綿棒で塗工面を10回擦り、塗膜の侵食具合を目視で評価した。
判定基準
5:取られ無し
4:ほとんど取られ無し
3:若干取られ有り
2:取られ有り
1:全て取られる
光沢計(ヒ゛ック゛・ケミー社製micro-TRI-gloss)にて塗工直後と1日後の光沢値を60°反射角で測定した。実用範囲は90以上とした。
塗工1日後に、塗工面/塗工面を重ね合わせ、学振型摩擦試験機を用い500g荷重にて300回の摩擦を行い、塗工面の傷や取られ具合を評価した。
判定基準
5:取られ無し
4:ほとんど取られ無し
3:若干取られ有り
2:取られ有り
1:全て取られる
RIテスターを用いて油性オフセットプロセス4色を印刷した基材に上記ワニスを塗工し、乾燥を行う。その後60℃1週間強制乾燥(エージング)させた試料を30×30mmに断裁し、専用の脱墨溶液に投入後20分間攪拌し、その際の紙基材の溶解具合を目視にて評価した。尚、専用の脱墨溶液は、150gの水に対し、3.75%のNaOH液を0.7g、1.5%に希釈した脱墨剤(花王株式会社製DI7020 相当品)を0.7g加えたものである。
判定基準
5:溶け残り無し
4:ほとんど溶け残り無し
3:若干溶け残り有り
2:溶け残り有り
1:全て残る
Claims (1)
- 紙基材面または該紙基材面にオフセット印刷インキで印刷した該印刷面に活性エネルギー線硬化型ワニスを塗布し、該塗布面にポリオレフィンフィルムを貼り合わせ、該ポリオレフィンフィルムを透して活性エネルギー線を照射して前記塗布面のワニスを硬化させ、その後に該ポリオレフィンフィルムを剥離させる積層体の製造方法であって、
該活性エネルギー線硬化型ワニスが、
1)重量平均分子量が5000〜12000のスチレン−アクリル樹脂(A1)を10〜39重量%
(但し、前記(A1)は、
スチレン系単量体(a1)70〜90重量%、
(a1)と共重合可能でカルボキシル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸単量体
(a2)1〜20重量%、
(a1)および(a2)と共重合可能でアミノ基及びカルボキシル基を含まない
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(a3)としてステアリルメタクリレート5〜25重量%、
を共重合させてなり、(a1)と(a2)と(a3)との合計は100重量%とする)
2)エチレンオキサイド又はプロピレンオキサイドで変性された(メタ)アクリロイル基を少なくとも1個有する光重合性単量体(B)を50〜85重量%、
3)光重合開始剤(C)を0〜20重量%
ならびに
4)シリコーン系添加剤(D1)を0.1〜10重量%
(但し、1)〜4)の合計は100重量%とする)
