Description
Claims (7)
- 少なくとも1個の板状部品(12)及びキャリア(14)を有する、車両部品(26)用の断熱手段(10)であって、
前記キャリア(14)は、シート状の部材が断面視U字形に折り曲げられた形状とされて2つの突出部(22)を有し、当該2つの突出部(22)の内部に前記板状部品(12)の一部が配置され、前記折り曲げられた部分に切り欠き(16)を有し、
前記切り欠き(16)は、前記突出部(22)の一方の内壁に接触して配置された前記板状部品(12)の外縁(18)と、当該板状部品(12)が取り付けられた前記内壁の内縁(24)とを露出させる形状とされている断熱手段(10)。 - 前記内縁(24)は、前記2つの突出部(22)の内部に配置された前記板状部品(12)の前記外縁(18)よりも突出している請求項1に記載の断熱手段(10)。
- 前記キャリア(14)及び前記板状部品(12)は、前記内縁(24)及び前記外縁(18)に沿った溶接継ぎ目(28)を用いて、前記車両部品(26)に接続可能とされている請求項1又は請求項2に記載の断熱手段(10)。
- 前記2つの突出部(22)は、当該2つの突出部(22)の内部に配置された前記板状部品(12)を締め付ける断面視U字形の締め付け部(20)を構成する請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の断熱手段(10)。
- 前記キャリア(14)は、前記板状部品(12)よりも大きい壁厚または材料厚を有する請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の断熱手段(10)。
- 請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1個の断熱手段(10)を外側(30)に有し、排気システム部品である車両部品(26)であって、
前記板状部品(12)は、溶接により、前記キャリア(14)を用いて前記外側(30)に締結される車両部品。 - 排気システム部品としての車両部品を断熱する方法であって、
シート状の部材が断面視U字形に折り曲げられた形状とされて2つの突出部(22)を有し、当該2つの突出部(22)の内部に板状部品(12)の一部が配置され、前記折り曲げられた部分に切り欠き(16)を有するキャリア(14)を用いて、
前記切り欠き(16)により、前記突出部(22)の一方の内壁に接触して配置された前記板状部品(12)の外縁(18)と、前記キャリア(14)の内縁(24)とを露出させて、
前記キャリア(14)及び前記板状部品(12)を、前記内縁(24)及び前記外縁(18)に沿った溶接継ぎ目(28)を用いて、前記車両部品(26)に取り付ける方法。
