請求項2に記載された発明は、前記収容部が断面U字形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電線接続端子である。
本発明の一実施形態にかかる電線接続端子4を備えたワイヤハーネス1は、図1に示すように、一方の電線としてのアルミニウム電線2と、他方の電線としての銅電線3と、前記アルミニウム電線2と前記銅電線3とを電気的に接続する電線接続端子4と、を備えている。

Claims (6)
- 一方の電線と他方の電線とを接続する電線接続端子であって、
一端側に設けられ且つ前記一方の電線が接続される第一電線接続部と、
他端側に設けられ且つ前記他方の電線が接続される第二電線接続部と、
加熱された際に溶融して前記一方の電線の芯線の先端部と前記他方の電線の芯線の先端部とを封止し且つ冷却された際に固化して当該一方の電線の芯線の先端部と当該他方の電線の芯線の先端部とを防水する止水部材と、
前記第一電線接続部と前記第二電線接続部との間に設けられ且つ前記止水部材が収容される溝状の収容部と、
前記第一電線接続部と前記第二電線接続部と前記収容部とを被覆し且つ加熱された際に収縮して当該第一電線接続部と当該第二電線接続部と当該収容部とに密着する熱収縮部材と、を備え、
前記第一電線接続部に前記一方の電線が接続されるとともに前記第二電線接続部に前記他方の電線が接続された際に、当該一方の電線の芯線と当該他方の電線の芯線とが互いに間隔をあけて配されることを特徴とする電線接続端子。 - 前記収容部が断面U字形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電線接続端子。
- 前記一方の電線の芯線が、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金から構成され、かつ、
前記他方の電線の芯線が、銅または銅合金から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の電線接続端子。 - 前記熱収縮部材が、透過性を有し、かつ、
前記止水部材が、着色されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のうちいずれか一項に記載の電線接続端子。 - 前記止水部材が、熱可塑性接着剤またはグリースとされていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のうちいずれか一項に記載の電線接続端子。
- 一方の電線と他方の電線とが電線接続端子を介して接続されたワイヤハーネスであって、
前記電線接続端子が、請求項1ないし請求項5のうちいずれか一項に記載の電線接続端子とされていることを特徴とするワイヤハーネス。
