Description
本願は2006年6月8日に出願された同時係属同一出願人による豪州国仮特許出願第2006903112号明細書に基づく優先権を主張する。該特許出願の内容を引用することにより本明細書の一部をなすものとする。
本発明は、限定はされないが、特に若い人における近視の進行をコントロールするまたは遅らせるために使用されるのに適した方法とコンタクトレンズを含む手段に関する。
Claims (10)
- 直径で3mmを超える寸法を持ち、装着者に眼の網膜の中心領域内において鮮明な遠方視力を与えるように該直径にわたって一定の屈折力を有する中心光学ゾーンと、
前記中心光学ゾーンよりも半径方向に外側に配置されている遷移ゾーンと、
前記遷移ゾーンよりも半径方向に外側に配置されている周辺光学ゾーンであって、該ゾーンを通って眼に入射する軸外光線を網膜の中心領域の周囲に位置する網膜の周辺領域の上または前方のポイントに集束させるのに十分な量だけ前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力よりも大きな屈折力を有する周辺光学ゾーンと
を含んでなり、前記周辺光学ゾーンの屈折力は、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力よりも1ディオプタ(D)を超える量だけ大きいものであるマルチゾーン非多焦点コンタクトレンズ。 - 前記周辺光学ゾーンの屈折力は、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力よりも8ディオプタだけ大きいものである請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記中心光学ゾーンと前記周辺光学ゾーンは、湾曲の仕方が異なる隣接した前面を有し、
前記隣接した前面の間には前記遷移ゾーンが介在しており、該遷移ゾーンは、前記中心光学ゾーンと前記周辺光学ゾーンの前記湾曲の仕方が異なる隣接した前面を滑らかに繋ぐように形作られている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。 - 前記中心光学ゾーンと前記周辺光学ゾーンは、湾曲の仕方が異なる隣接した前面を有し、
前記隣接した前面の間には前記遷移ゾーンが介在しており、該遷移ゾーンは、前記中心光学ゾーンと前記周辺光学ゾーンの前記湾曲の仕方が異なる隣接した前面を滑らかに繋ぐように形作られている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。 - 前記中心光学ゾーンと前記周辺光学ゾーンは、湾曲の仕方が異なる隣接した前面を有し、

- 前記遷移ゾーンは、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力と前記周辺光学ゾーンの屈折力との間で漸次的に変化する屈折力を与えるものである、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記遷移ゾーンは、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力と前記周辺光学ゾーンの屈折力との間で漸次的に変化する屈折力を与えるものである、請求項2に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記遷移ゾーンは、前記中心光学ゾーンの屈折力と前記周辺光学ゾーンの屈折力との間で漸次的に変化する屈折力を与えるものである、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
