Claims (14)
- 主磁極の第1の側面の後縁(トレーリング方向の縁)から前縁(リーディング方向の縁)までの距離が、前記主磁極の第2の側面の後縁から前縁までの距離とは異なるように突起部を有する主磁極と、
補助磁極と、
前記主磁極と前記補助磁極を含む磁気回路に巻かれたコイルと、
を含み、
前記主磁極の前記突起部は、前記主磁極の残りの部分より高い飽和磁束密度を有する磁性材料で構成される、
磁気ヘッド。 - 前記主磁極の前記突起部は、前記主磁極の残りの部分より高い透磁率を有する磁性材料で構成される、
請求項1に記載の磁気ヘッド。 - 磁気記憶媒体と、
前記磁気記憶媒体に書き込むための請求項1に記載の少なくとも1つの磁気ヘッドと、
前記磁気ヘッドを支持するスライダと、
前記磁気ヘッドの動作を制御するための前記磁気ヘッドに連結された制御ユニットと、
を有するディスクドライブシステム。 - 主磁極の第1の側面の後縁(トレーリング方向の縁)から前縁(リーディング方向の縁)までの距離が、前記主磁極の第2の側面の後縁から前縁までの距離とは異なるように突起部を有する主磁極と、
補助磁極と、
前記主磁極と前記補助磁極を含む磁気回路に巻かれたコイルと、
を含み、
磁性体が、前記主磁極の後方および側方(トラック幅方向)に位置し、
前記主磁極の第1の側面と前記主磁極の第1の側方に位置する磁性体との間の第1の距離は、前記主磁極の第2の側面と前記主磁極の第2の側方に位置する磁性体との間の第2の距離と異なり、前記主磁極の前記突起部はより短い距離を有する側に位置する、
磁気ヘッド。 - 前記主磁極の側方に位置する前記磁性体は、前記突起部を有する側の前記主磁極の側方だけに位置する、
