Description
複数の気筒を有し且つ当該複数の気筒によって複数の気筒群が構成される多気筒内燃機関において、ある気筒群に属する第1の気筒の空燃比のインバランスを、当該第1の気筒で検出されたクランク角速度に相関する指標値と、他の気筒群に属する第2の気筒で検出された当該指標値との差分値に基づいて判定するインバランス判定手段を備えた多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置において、
前記第1の気筒についての前記差分値を、前記第1の気筒と同一の気筒群に属する少なくとも1つの他の気筒で検出された前記指標値を用いて補正する補正手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする。
(1)エンジン1の暖機が終了している。例えば水温センサ24で検出された水温が所定値以上であるとき暖機終了とされる。
(2)エンジン1が定常運転中である。例えば、急加速中あるいは急減速中でない場合に定常運転中とされる。
(3)エンジン1が検出領域内で運転している。例えば、スロットル開度とエンジン回転数とが所定領域内にあるとき、検出領域内とされる。
(4)空燃比フィードバック制御が実行中である。

Claims (5)
- 複数の気筒を有し且つ当該複数の気筒によって複数の気筒群が構成される多気筒内燃機関において、ある気筒群に属する第1の気筒の空燃比のインバランスを、当該第1の気筒で検出されたクランク角速度に相関する指標値と、他の気筒群に属する第2の気筒で検出された当該指標値との差分値に基づいて判定するインバランス判定手段を備えた多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置において、
前記第1の気筒についての前記差分値を、前記第1の気筒と同一の気筒群に属する少なくとも1つの他の気筒について算出された前記差分値またはこれに相関する値を減算することによって補正する補正手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記補正手段は、前記第1の気筒についての前記差分値を、前記第1の気筒と同一の気筒群に属する全ての他の気筒について算出された前記差分値の平均値を減算することによって補正することを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記補正手段は、前記第1の気筒についての前記差分値を、気筒群間のトルク差に起因する成分を抑制するように補正することを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記インバランス判定手段は、前記第1の気筒についての前記差分値を所定の異常しきい値と比較することによって当該第1の気筒の空燃比のインバランスを判定し、
前記補正手段は、前記補正手段による補正量が前記異常しきい値より絶対値で小さくなるようにガード処理を行うことを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記インバランス判定手段は、互いに異なる気筒群に属しクランク角が互いに360°異なる少なくとも一組の対向気筒のそれぞれで検出されたクランク角速度に相関する指標値の差分に基づいて、気筒間の空燃比インバランスを判定することを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。
