Description
共通のクランクシャフトに接続された複数の気筒を有し且つ当該複数の気筒によって複数のバンクが構成される多気筒内燃機関において、互いに異なるバンクに属しクランク角が互いに360°異なる少なくとも一組の対向気筒のそれぞれで検出されたクランク角速度に相関する指標値の差分に基づいて、気筒間の空燃比インバランスを判定するインバランス判定手段と、
空燃比が所定の目標空燃比に一致するように、前記バンクごとに燃料噴射量を制御する空燃比フィードバック処理を行う空燃比フィードバック処理手段と、
を備えた多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置において、
前記空燃比インバランスを判定する前に、全気筒のうちで前記指標値が標準値から最も離れている気筒と同一のバンクに属する他の気筒の対向気筒につき、前記指標値を燃焼改善方向に補正する補正手段を更に備えた
ことを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- 共通のクランクシャフトに接続された複数の気筒を有し且つ当該複数の気筒によって複数のバンクが構成される多気筒内燃機関において、互いに異なるバンクに属しクランク角が互いに360°異なる少なくとも一組の対向気筒のそれぞれで検出されたクランク角速度に相関する指標値の差分に基づいて、気筒間の空燃比インバランスを判定するインバランス判定手段と、
空燃比が所定の目標空燃比に一致するように、前記バンクごとに燃料噴射量を制御する空燃比フィードバック処理を行う空燃比フィードバック処理手段と、
を備えた多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置において、
前記空燃比インバランスを判定する前に、全気筒のうちで前記指標値が標準値から最も離れている気筒と同一のバンクに属する他の気筒の対向気筒につき、前記指標値の差分を燃焼改善方向に補正する補正手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記補正に係る補正量は、全気筒のうちで前記指標値が標準値から最も離れている気筒における当該指標値に応じて変更されることを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 請求項2に記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置であって、
前記補正に係る補正量は、全気筒のうちで前記指標値が標準値から最も離れている気筒における前記差分の絶対値が大きいほど、大きくされることを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。
