Description
2つのインク組成物を調合した。組成物Aは、オレイン酸により安定化された銀ナノ粒子40wt%とキシレン60wt%とを含む。組成物Bは、オレイン酸により安定化された銀ナノ粒子40wt%と、ドデカン40wt%と、テルピネオール20wt%とを含む。
その後、インク組成物の線幅に対する基材の表面エネルギの効果を示すために、組成物Bを2つの異なる基材上に印刷した。プラズマ洗浄したガラス基材を親水性表面として使用した。ヘキサメチルジシラザンまたはオクチルトリクロロシランのいずれかにより修飾したガラス基材を疎水性表面として使用した。
9つのインク組成物を製造した。それらは銀ナノ粒子の量およびドデカンのテルピネオールに対する重量比の点で異ならせた。インク組成物を用いて線を印刷し、210℃で30分間アニールし、導電性の線の収率(すなわち、線が導電性かそうでないか)を測定した。結果を表1に示す。
ヘキサデシルアミンにより安定された銀ナノ粒子を本実施例で使用した。インク組成物は40wt%の銀ナノ粒子と、テルピネオールと、炭化水素溶媒と、を含む。炭化水素溶媒のテルピネオールに対する比は2:1とした。炭化水素溶媒のアイデンティティを変動させて、その効果を決定した。基材の温度もまた変動させた。線を印刷し、線幅およびコーヒーリング効果を評価した。結果を表2に示す。
アイソパ(登録商標)Gおよびテルピネオールを、アイソパ(登録商標)G対テルピネオール比2:1で溶媒として使用した。ヘキサデシルアミンにより安定化された銀ナノ粒子50wt%を使用して、インクを調合した。線を印刷すると、基材温度が60℃では、線幅が57μmまでさらに減少し、hedge/hcenter比が1.02であることが示された。
メシチレンおよびo−キシレンを炭化水素溶媒として使用し、テルピネオールを2:1の比で共溶媒として使用した。ヘキサデシルアミンにより安定化された銀ナノ粒子50wt%を使用した。線を印刷した。60℃の基材温度では、メシチレンを有するインク調合物では40から45μmの線幅が得られ、キシレンを有するインク調合物では約30μmの線幅が得られた。
Claims (1)
- オレイン酸またはヘキサデシルアミンにより安定化された銀ナノ粒子と、
炭化水素溶媒と、
アルコール共溶媒と、
を含み、
前記炭化水素溶媒は、ドデカン、ヘキサデカン、およびイソパラフィン溶媒のうち少なくとも1つを含み、
前記アルコール共溶媒は、重量で少なくとも50%がα−テルピネオールであるテルピネオール溶媒を含み、
前記銀ナノ粒子は、インク組成物の少なくとも30重量%を占め、前記炭化水素溶媒の前記アルコール共溶媒に対する重量比は、5:1未満である、インク組成物。
