Description
Claims (9)
- 片面印刷媒体および両面印刷媒体を出力位置に方向付けるための第1経路と、
片面印刷媒体をインバータに方向付けるための第2経路と、
画像を、前記画像の描かれていない面に形成するために、反転した前記片面印刷媒体を方向付けるための両面印刷用媒体移送経路と、
マルチモードダイバータであって、第1モードにおいて前記第1経路から前記片面印刷媒体を受け取り、マルチモードダイバータの上面部分によって、反転した前記片面印刷媒体を前記両面印刷用媒体移送経路に方向付けると同時に、前記片面印刷媒体を前記出力位置に方向付けるとき、および、第2モードにおいて前記片面印刷媒体を前記マルチモードダイバータの前記部分によって前記インバータに方向付けるときに、適合する前記マルチモードダイバータであり、反転する次の媒体を受け取るときに前に受け取った媒体が出て行くのを妨げないことを保証するために、前記マルチモードダイバータは、軸を備え付けた回転可能なアームによって支持された頭状部材および前記頭状部材と前記軸との間に配置された前記マルチモードダイバータの空間部分を含むように構成されたゲート部材を含み、これにより、前記ダイバータの反応時間が長くなる、前記マルチモードダイバータと、を含む、複写装置。 - 前記マルチモードダイバータは、前記マルチモードダイバータを介する媒体移送経路を形成するために、前記上面部分を補完する上部を含む、請求項1に記載の複写装置。
- 前記頭状部材は、不等辺四辺形の形状をした塊である、請求項2に記載の複写装置。
- 前記塊状部材は、片面印刷媒体および両面印刷媒体を前記出力位置に方向付けるためのバッフルとして機能する下面部分を含む、請求項3に記載の複写装置。
- 前記マルチモードダイバータは、複合的な3つの部分を含む部材である、請求項1に記載の複写装置。
- シートを複数の方向に方向付けるための複写装置において用いられる二重位置調整可能ダイバータであって、
複合的な上部および下部であって、前記下部は、回転運動のために前記上部および前記下部と一体になったアームによって支持されており、前記上部および前記下部は、前記上部および前記下部を介してシートを通すための前記上部と前記下部との間に伸びる媒体移送経路を形成している、前記上部および下部と、前記ダイバータが定位置から起動位置に回転するために備え付けられている回転可能な軸とを含み、前記下部および前記アームは、前記下部と前記軸との間に空洞を提供するように構成されており、これにより、シートが前記ダイバータの入り口地点を通過するとすぐに、前記ダイバータは、前記定位置から前記起動位置に移動されることができるとともに、シートを出力挟み込み部に導くときに前記定位置にあってもう1つのシートをインバータから離れて両面印刷用媒体移送経路に導く、ダイバータ。 - 前記ダイバータは、シートを前記インバータに導くときに前記起動位置にある、請求項6に記載の二重位置調整可能ダイバータ。
- 前記ダイバータは、シートの後端が前記入り口地点を通過した直後に、前記定位置から前記起動位置に移動される、請求項7に記載の二重位置調整可能ダイバータ。
- 前記ダイバータの前記下部の上面が、シートを前記インバータの挟み込み部および前記両面印刷用媒体移送経路に導く、請求項8に記載の二重位置調整可能ダイバータ。
