Claims (10)
- 固定子と、固定子に回転可能に設置された回転子とを備え、
固定子は、ヨークと、巻線が巻かれたn個の主極と、n個の補助極とを有する固定子コアを備え、主極及び補助極は、ヨークの半径方向内側においてその周囲方向に交互に配列され、そして
巻線に通電したときには、主極及び補助極に、各々、n個の主磁極及びn個の補助磁極が形成され、2n個の磁気回路が形成され、各主磁極は、同じ極性を有すると共に、各補助磁極は、主磁極の極性とは逆の同じ極性を有し、nは1より大きな整数であり、各磁気回路は、1つの主磁極と、1つの隣接する補助磁極と、回転子及びヨークのそれらの磁極に対応する部分とを通過し、それにより、磁気回路の長さが短くなり且つ回転子によって発生されるトルクが増大する、ユニバーサルモータ。 - 回転子の外径Dと固定子コアの最小外径Yとの比D/Yは、0.7より大きい、請求項1に記載のモータ。
- 補助極は、巻線が巻かれず、補助磁極は、誘起される磁極である、請求項1又は2に記載のモータ。
- ヨークは、主極が延びるところの第1区分と、補助極が延びるところの第2区分とを備え、第1区分は、第2区分より細い、請求項1、2又は3に記載のモータ。
- 第2区分に装着穴が形成される、請求項4に記載のモータ。
- 主極及び補助極は、ヨークから内方に突出する突極であり、各極は、ヨークから内方に延びるネックと、ネックから延びる極シューとを含み、ヨークと主極の極シューとの間の距離は、ヨークと補助極の極シューとの間の距離より大きい、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のモータ。
- 補助極に付加的な巻線が巻かれ、付加的な巻線の巻回数は、主極に巻かれた巻線より少ない、請求項6に記載のモータ。
- nは、2、3又は4に等しい、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のモータ。
- 主極と回転子コアとの間の半径方向ギャップは、補助極と回転子コアとの間の半径方向ギャップに等しい、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のモータ。
- 補助極のネックは、主極のネックよりも広い、請求項6に記載のモータ。
