Description
自動車にある周辺検出用カメラシステムによりゼブラゾーンが識別される。そのため縁選択方法又は色識別方法又はパターン認識方法又は類似の方法により車両の前のゼブラゾーンを識別する適当な画像処理アルゴリズムが、カメラシステムに記憶される。
本発明の別の有利な構成は、カメラに基く交通標識識別機能を意図し、識別機能がゼブラゾーンを示す交通標識を識別する。
本発明の有利な構成は、車両が電子カードを備えていることを意図する。電子カードはゼブラゾーンの位置を含み、車両の位置はなるべくナビゲーション装置例えばGPS受信機により決定される。
特に先行車両の走行方向におけるゼブラゾーンについての情報は、車両から車両への通信によって伝送される。
Claims (9)
- 車両と歩行者との衝突を回避するための運転者援助システムであって、カメラセンサ及び放射センサを含んでいるものにおいて、
横断歩道上を特定の速度で動く物体が検出されると、運転者に警報を出して衝突を防止するのに十分な高い確率で、この物体が歩行者であると解釈され、カメラセンサが横断歩道を検出し、放射センサが物体の位置及び運動を検出し、カメラセンサ及び放射センサからのデータが重畳されて、物体が横断歩道上又はその近くを動いているか否かを検出することと、
カメラデータから、ゼブラゾーンの縞の縁とゼブラゾーンの縞の周期性との二重関係により横断歩道が認識されることと、
を特徴とする、運転者援助システム。 - カメラデータから、横断歩道を指示する交通標識により横断歩道が認識されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の運転者援助システム。
- カメラデータから、オプティカルフローの方法で物体の位置及び運動が認識されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の運転者援助システム。
- 横断歩道の位置を確かめるために、電子カードのデータが使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
- 横断歩道の位置が、車両から車両への通信により、先行車両の走行方向へ伝送されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
- カメラセンサ及び放射センサからのデータと、電子カードからのデータ及び先行車両により伝送されるデータの中の少なくとも一つとが重畳されて、物体が横断歩道上又はその近くを動いているか否かを検出することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
- 更にカメラデータから歩行者の分類が行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
- ゼブラゾーンへ接近する際自動車の速度が所定の閾値より上にあると、この速度が自動的に減少されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
- 運転者が警報に反応しない場合非常制動が行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8の1つに記載の運転者援助システム。
