Claims (11)
- 互いに向き合う第1基板と第2基板を含む平面ディスプレイパネルを利用して所望の曲面形態のディスプレイパネルを製造する曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法であって、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の厚さが予め設定された厚さに減少するように外側一部をそれぞれ削り出す段階、
前記外側一部が削り出された平面ディスプレイパネルを前記所望の曲面形態に曲げる段階、
前記所望の曲面形態に合うように予め製造された第1ガイド部材を前記第1基板の削り出された外側面に予め設定された間隔をおいて付着し、前記所望の曲面形態に合うように予め製造された第2ガイド部材を前記第2基板の削り出された外側面に予め設定された間隔をおいて付着する段階、および
前記第1ガイド部材と前記第1基板との間の空間、および前記第2ガイド部材と前記第2基板との間の空間に光透過性補強層をそれぞれ形成する段階を含む、曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。 - 前記予め設定された厚さは、50〜200μmに属する値である、請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材の外側面のうちの一つ以上に偏光板を付着する段階をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材は、ガラスまたはアクリル(PMMA)材質である、請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材は、前記予め設定された間隔を維持するためのスペーサを含む、請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記スペーサは、前記光透過性補強層の形成時、前記光透過性補強層の形状が維持されるように前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材それぞれの側面内側に配置される側面スペーサを含む、請求項5に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記の側面スペーサは、光透過性補強物質の注入口を含む、請求項6に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材は、偏光板である、請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル製造方法。
- 互いに向き合う第1基板および第2基板を含む平面ディスプレイパネルから製造される曲面ディスプレイパネルであって、
外側一部が削り出され、所望の曲面形態に曲がる前記第1基板および前記第2基板、
前記所望の曲面形態に対応する形態を有し、前記第1基板との間隔を維持するための第1スペーサを含み、前記第1基板との間に空間が形成されるように前記第1基板の削り出された外側面から離隔するように前記第1基板に固定される第1ガイド部材、
前記所望の曲面形態に対応する形態を有し、前記第2基板との間隔を維持するための第2スペーサを含み、前記第2基板との間に空間が形成されるように前記第2基板の削り出された外側面から離隔するように前記第2基板に固定される第2ガイド部材、および
前記各空間に液状の光透過性補強物質を投入して固化させることで、前記第1基板および前記第2基板における前記所望の曲面形態を維持するように形成される光透過性補強層を含む、曲面ディスプレイパネル。 - 前記第1ガイド部材および前記第2ガイド部材は、偏光板である、請求項9に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1スペーサは、前記光透過性補強層の形成時、前記光透過性補強層の形状が維持されるように前記第1ガイド部材の側面内側に配置される第1側面スペーサを含み、
前記第2スペーサは、前記光透過性補強層の形成時、前記光透過性補強層の形状が維持されるように前記第2ガイド部材の側面内側に配置される第2側面スペーサを含む、請求項9に記載の曲面ディスプレイパネル。
