Description
本発明は、より詳細には、特に空気式タイヤ又は内部チューブを意図する、上記2つの機能、気密性とパンク防止を満たす多層ラミネートに関する。
気密内部層又は“内部ライナー”のこの役割は、現在、本質的にはエラストマー又はブチルゴムに基づく組成物によって果たされており、その優れた気密特性で長く知られている。
使用することができるように、セルフシーリング層は、物理的及び化学的性質の多くの条件を満たさなければならない。これは、特に、極めて広い操作温度範囲にわたって、また空気式タイヤの寿命全体にわたって効果的でなければならない。これは、穿刺物体がその場に残存している場合にその穴を閉鎖することができなければならず、穿刺物体が除かれた後には、穴を充填することができ且つ空気式タイヤを気密にすることができなければならない。
文献US-A-4 228 839は、タイヤ用のセルフシーリング層として、照射したときに分解する第1ポリマー材料、例えば、ポリイソブチレン、及び照射したときに架橋する第2ポリマー材料、好ましくはブチルゴムを含有するゴムコンパウンドを提案している。
ブチルゴムの既知の欠点は、更に広い温度範囲にわたって大きなヒステリシス損失を受けることであり、ガス漏れしないタイプにしてもセルフシーリングタイプにしてもこの欠点が層又は組成物自体に影響し、ヒステリシスをかなり増大させるとともにこのような組成物を用いた空気式タイヤの転がり抵抗をかなり悪化させる。
ガス漏れせず且つセルフシーリング多層ラミネートのヒスタリシスを低下させること、それ故、結局、自動車の燃費が現在の技術が直面する一般的目的である。
更に、出願人は、ブチルゴムをベースにした組成物が、空気式タイヤの構造体内で長時間その場に残存するパンクしている物体の遅い排除又は除去後に有効性が不充分であり得ることを認めている。
大量の粘着付与樹脂は、タイヤが引き起こすより高い工業コストの他に、セルフシーリング組成物の過度の剛性化のリスクのためにタイヤの転がり抵抗も悪化することになる。
o 気密層として、少なくとも50phrのジエンエラストマーを含む第1エラストマー組成物;
o パンク防止層として、少なくとも50phrの飽和熱可塑性スチレンエラストマー及び200phrを超える増量剤オイルを含む第2セルフシーリングエラストマー組成物;
o これらの2つ層の間の接着剤界面相として、少なくとも30phrの不飽和熱可塑性スチレンエラストマーを含む第3組成物
を備えることを特徴とする、前記ラミネートに関する。
本説明において、特にことわらない限り、示されるパーセント(%)は全て質量%である。
更に、表現“aとbの間”によって示される値の間隔は、いずれも、aよりも大きくbよりも小さい範囲の値の領域を示し(即ち、限界値aとbを除く)、一方表現“aからbまで”によって示される値の間隔は、いずれも、aからbまでの範囲である値の領域を意味する(即ち、厳格な限定値a及びbを含む)。
o 第1気密層として、少なくとも50phrのジエンエラストマーを含む第1エラストマー組成物;
o 第2パンク防止層として、少なくとも50phrの飽和熱可塑性スチレン(TPS)エラストマー及び200phrを超える増量剤オイルを含む第2セルフシーリングエラストマー組成物;
o 上の2つの層の間に位置決めされる接着剤界面相又は第3層として、少なくとも30phrの不飽和TPSエラストマーを含む第3組成物。
- 用語“飽和TPSエラストマー”は、エチレン系不飽和基を含まない(即ち、炭素-炭素二重結合でない)TPSエラストマーを意味すると理解され;
- 用語“不飽和TPSエラストマー”は、エチレン系不飽和基がある、即ち、(共役であっても共役でなくてもよい)炭素-炭素二重結合を含むTPSエラストマーを意味すると理解される。
第1組成物(気密層)として、気密(又はより一般的にはガス漏れしない)膜の役割を満たすことができるジエンエラストマーに基づくいずれのタイプのエラストマー組成物も使われる。
第2パンク防止層として、少なくとも50phr(即ち、50phrから100phrまで)の飽和TPSエラストマーを200phrを超えるオイルで増量して含む本質的な特徴を有する第2セルフシーリング組成物が使われる。
好ましくは、飽和TPSエラストマー(定義によれば、セルフシーリング組成物における支配的エラストマー)は、スチレン/エチレン/ブチレン(SEB)、スチレン/エチレン/プロピレン(SEP)、スチレン/エチレン/エチレン/プロピレン(SEEP)、スチレン/エチレン/ブチレン/スチレン(SEBS)、スチレン/エチレン/プロピレン/スチレン(SEPS)及びスチレン/エチレン/エチレン/プロピレン/スチレン(SEEPS)ブロックコポリマー、並びにこれらのコポリマーのブレンドによって形成される群より選ばれる。
セルフシーリング組成物の第2の必須成分は、200phrを超える - 全エラストマー(即ち、飽和TPSエラストマーと、適切な場合、1つ又は複数の追加のエラストマー)100質量部当たり200質量部を超える - 好ましくは250phrを超える極めて多量に用いられる増量剤オイル(又は可塑化用オイル)である。
前の2つの層の間に位置決めされる接着剤の第3の層又は界面相としてエラストマー組成物が使われ、その本質的な特徴は、少なくとも30phr(即ち、30phrから100phrまで)、好ましくは少なくとも50phr(即ち、50phrから100phrまで)の不飽和タイプのTPSエラストマーを含むことである。
本発明のラミネートは、特に、通常は、当業者に既知の気密層又はセルフシーリング層に存在する、各種添加剤を含むことができ、これらの添加剤は、典型的には、少量で(好ましくは20phr未満、より好ましくは10phr未満の含量で)存在する。
上記の本発明のラミネートは、弾性固体化合物(23℃で固体)であり、その特定の配合のために、非常に高い可撓性及び非常に高い変形能に特に特徴を有する。
本発明の多層ラミネートは、有利には、すべて車両タイプの空気式タイヤに、特に非常に高速で走行することができる乗用車用のタイヤ又は産業用車両、例えば、特に高内部温度条件下で走行及び操作ができる大型車両のタイヤに使用し得る。
Claims (12)
- インフレータブル物品に使用し得る気密且つパンク防止多層エラストマーラミネートであって、少なくとも3つの層を備えており(phrは各組成物における(ゴム)エラストマー100質量部当たりの質量部を意味する):
−第1気密層として、少なくとも50phrのジエンエラストマーを含む第1エラストマー組成物;
−第2パンク防止層として、少なくとも50phrの飽和熱可塑性スチレン(TPSと略記する)エラストマー及び200phrを超える増量剤オイルを含む第2セルフシーリングエラストマー組成物;
−上の2つの層の間に位置決めされる接着剤界面相又は第3層として、少なくとも30phrの不飽和TPSエラストマーを含む第3組成物
を含む、前記ラミネート。 - 第1組成物のジエンエラストマーが、ポリブタジエン、合成ポリイソプレン、天然ゴム、ブタジエンコポリマー、イソプレンコポリマー及びこれらのエラストマーのブレンドによって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項1に記載のラミネート。
- 第1組成物のジエンエラストマーが、ブチルゴムである、請求項2に記載のラミネート。
- 第2組成物の飽和TPSエラストマーが、スチレン/エチレン/ブチレン(SEB)、スチレン/エチレン/プロピレン(SEP)、スチレン/エチレン/エチレン/プロピレン(SEEP)、スチレン/エチレン/ブチレン/スチレン(SEBS)、スチレン/エチレン/プロピレン/スチレン(SEPS)及びスチレン/エチレン/エチレン/プロピレン/スチレン(SEEPS)コポリマー、及びこれらのコポリマーのブレンドによって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 飽和TPSエラストマーが、SEBSコポリマー、SEPSコポリマー及びこれらのコポリマーのブレンドによって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項4に記載のラミネート。
- 第3組成物の不飽和TPSエラストマーが、スチレン/ブタジエン(SB)、スチレン/イソプレン(SI)、スチレン/ブタジエン/ブチレン(SBB)、スチレン/ブタジエン/イソプレン(SBI)、スチレン/ブタジエン/スチレン(SBS)、スチレン/ブタジエン/ブチレン/スチレン(SBBS)、スチレン/イソプレン/スチレン(SIS)及びスチレン/ブタジエン/イソプレン/スチレン(SBIS)ブロックコポリマー及びこれらのコポリマーのブレンドによって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 第2組成物の飽和TPSエラストマーの含量が、70phrより大きい、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 第3組成物の不飽和TPSエラストマーの含量が、少なくとも50phrに等しい、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 第2組成物の増量剤オイルが、ポリオレフィンオイル、パラフィン系オイル、ナフテン系オイル、芳香族オイル、鉱油及びこれらのオイルの混合物によって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 第2組成物の増量剤オイルが、ポリブテンオイル、パラフィン系オイル及びこれらのオイルの混合物によって形成される群より選ばれる、請求項9に記載のラミネート。
- 第2組成物の増量剤オイルの含量が、200と900phrの間にある、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のラミネート。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の気密且つパンク防止のラミネートを備えるインフレータブル物品。
