Description
前記吸入端部は使用時に前記吸気多岐管と連絡し、前記排気端部は使用時に前記シリンダと連絡し、
前記多岐管チャネルは、その吸入端部に向かって配置され、燃料インジェクタを収容するよう構成された少なくとも1つのインジェクタヘッドチャネルを含み、
前記多岐管チャネルへの燃料噴射が多岐管チャネル壁に対して衝突し、輻輳角によって前記多岐管チャネルを通じて渦軌道の運動をするように、前記インジェクタヘッドチャネルは、多岐管チャネル長手軸及び/又は多岐管チャネル横軸に対して5度〜85度の輻輳角の方向に配置されることを特徴とする多岐管ブロックを提供する。
例えば、多岐管チャネル内又は下に取り付けられる網目板又は多孔板等の多孔要素。
多岐管チャネル内又は下に取り付けられるプロペラ。
多岐管チャネル内又は下に取り付けられるデフレクタ・グリッド。
従来の多岐管と従来のシリンダヘッドの間に挿入された本発明の多岐管ブロックを内蔵するエンジンの排気とトルクを確かめるために、フォード・フォーカス1.6エンジンが試験された。これらの試験は、本発明による異なる寸法のブロックが車両に嵌合された場合に発生する、排気、BHP及びトルクの変化を確認するためのものである。

Claims (25)
- 内燃エンジンの効率を向上させる多岐管ブロックであって、前記エンジンの吸気多岐管と前記エンジンのシリンダとの間に着脱可能に設けられ、それにより燃料噴射点と前記エンジンのシリンダヘッド間の距離が増大し、少なくとも1つの多岐管チャネルに噴射された燃料の乱流混合を容易にするように構成され、吸入端部と排気端部とを有し前記多岐管ブロックを貫通する前記少なくとも1つの多岐管チャネルを有する前記多岐管ブロックにおいて、
前記吸入端部は使用時に前記吸気多岐管と接続され、前記排気端部は使用時に前記シリンダと接続され、
前記多岐管チャネルは、前記多岐管チャネルの吸入端部に向かって配置され、燃料インジェクタを収容するように構成された少なくとも1つのインジェクタヘッドチャネルを含み、
前記インジェクタヘッドチャネルは、前記多岐管チャネルのチャネル部分の空気流に平行な多岐管チャネル長手方向軸に対して、5度〜85度の角度を有する方向に配置され、前記多岐管チャネル内に噴射された燃料が前記多岐管チャネルの壁に対して衝突し、前記角度により前記多岐管チャネルを通る渦巻き状の運動進路をとることを特徴とする多岐管ブロック。 - 前記吸気多岐管とエンジンの前記シリンダヘッドの間に固定された請求項1に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記インジェクタヘッドチャネルの軸と噴射部分の前記多岐管チャネル長手方向軸が、そこでの燃料/空気混合物の渦運動を容易にするために効果的な角度で配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記方向は前記多岐管チャネル長手方向軸に対するものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記方向は、前記多岐管チャネル横軸に対するものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記角度は、約15度〜約75度であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記角度は、約20度〜約70度であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記角度は、約20度〜約65度であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記角度は、約25度〜約60度であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記インジェクタヘッドチャネルの各々は、前記ブロックの使用時に前記多岐管チャネルの上流端部に向かって位置することを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 燃料及び空気噴射のための個別の噴射ヘッドを備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多岐管チャネルは、燃料/空気混合物の通過を可能にする多孔要素及び前記多岐管チャネルに前記多孔要素を取り付ける手段を収容するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多岐管チャネルは、プロペラ要素及び前記多岐管チャネルに前記プロペラ要素を取り付ける手段を収容するように更に構成されたことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多孔要素と前記プロペラ要素は、前記インジェクタヘッドチャネルと前記多岐管チャネルの前記排気端部との間に位置することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記プロペラ要素はモータによって駆動されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 多岐管チャネルの数は前記内燃エンジンのシリンダの数に対応することを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 内燃エンジンのエンジンブロックに接続されることを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多岐管チャネルは、前記ブロックの使用時に、前記吸気多岐管と前記シリンダが離隔した関係となるような長さを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記ブロック内の前記チャネルの長さは、少なくとも約1cmであることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記ブロック内の前記チャネルの長さは、少なくとも約2cmであることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記ブロック内の前記チャネルの長さは、少なくとも約3cmであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記ブロック内の前記チャネルの長さは、少なくとも約5cmであることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多岐管ブロックは、直接的に加熱されることを特徴とする請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記多岐管ブロックは、間接的に加熱されることを特徴とする請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。
- 前記燃料噴射点は前記多岐管チャネルの前記吸入端部に向かって配置される1〜24のいずれか一項に記載の多岐管ブロック。」
