Description
例えば、処理で扱う液体量が微小量(例えば、数μリットルから数100μリットルのオーダの場合)であったり、使用する変形式分注チップの容量が小さい場合、処理に精度を要する場合、または変形式分注チップの加工精度が高くない場合には、基準位置としては、既に変形式分注チップを所定の変形を加えた状態の可動部材または変形壁面の変形方向に沿った位置を基準にする。これによって、精度の高い制御を行うことが可能である。この場合には、例えば、予め定めた最大の変形量による前記分注チップ内への液体の予め定めた最大吸引量の全てを吐出することができるように設定するのが好ましい。これによって、変形式分注チップからの液体の吐出による前記変形式分注チップ内への液体の残留を防止することができる。
ここで、前記下側開口部は、例えば、該細管を突出可能に設けられているのが好ましい。
該変形式分注装置110は、前記ラック121を装着することで12列×8行の行列状の前記変形式分注チップ111を支持し、前記蛇腹112を変形させることによって該変形式分注チップ111に対する液体の吸引吐出を行う前記分注ヘッド270と、種々の液体、試薬、検体等を収容可能な複数の試薬収容容器132を有する容器群131と、前記分注ヘッド270を前記容器群131に対して移動させるヘッド移行部(図示せず)とを、設けたものである。
さらに、前記変形式分注チップの細管の口部にはさらに、ステンレス製等のより径が小さい短管を嵌合させて、その分注精度を高めるようにしても良い。

Claims (4)
- 壁面で囲まれた内部に液体および気体を収容可能であって、その壁面の全内表面積を実質的に変えることなく所定の変形が可能な変形壁面を前記壁面の一部に有する収容部および該収容部と連通し前記変形壁面の変形による前記内部の膨張および収縮によって吸引吐出される液体が流入および流出可能であって、種々の溶液を収容可能な容器に対して挿入可能な口部を有し、前記変形壁面の変形によって液体の吸引吐出が行われる変形式分注装置に着脱自在に保持される変形式分注チップと、
前記収容部を内部に緩挿して保持するホルダと、を有するとともに、
前記口部は下端に設けられ、前記変形壁面は、該収容部を囲む壁面の一部に上下方向に変形可能となるように形成され、前記収容部は、該口部の上方に設けられ、前記変形壁面を有し気体を収容可能な変形部、および該変形部と連通し前記変形壁面を有せず先端に前記口部を有して液体を貯留可能な非変形部を有し、
前記非変形部は、前記変形部と連通する太管、前記口部を有する細管、および前記太管と前記細管との間に形成された移行部を有し、
前記ホルダは、その上側に設けた上側開口部またはその側面に設けたスリット、および前記口部が外に露出可能な下側開口部を有し、進退動作可能な可動部材を前記上側開口部または前記スリットを通して挿入させ、前記収容部と接触または接続させ、前記収容部の前記変形壁面が前記可動部材によって変形される際に前記口部が前記変形によって変動しないように前記収容部を支持する変形式分注チップおよびホルダの組み合わせ体。 - 前記非変形部には、平行な透明平面状側面で挟まれた内部検出領域を設けた請求項1に記載の変形式分注チップおよびホルダの組み合わせ体。
- 前記太管、前記変形部、および前記移行部は一体として形成され、前記細管は、その上端部が前記移行部の下端部に嵌合して取り付けられた請求項1に記載の変形式分注チップおよびホルダの組み合わせ体。
- 前記ホルダの前記下側開口部は前記細管を嵌合して支持する請求項1に記載の変形式分注チップおよびホルダの組み合わせ体。
