Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform measurement of liquid under examination, which is separately injected, accurately, by switching the states of valve mechanisms so that the state, in which one valve is opened and the other is closed, and the state, in which one is closed and the other is opened, are alternated by the expanding and contacting operations of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A sucking port is provided at one end of a sleeve 60, which is expanded and contracted in the axial direction. A discharge port is provided at the other end of the sleeve. Communicating ports 62-64 are provided at the intermediate part. A cavity chamber 61, which communicates with said ports, is provided on the inside. Valve mechanism (w) and (y) are provided at parts, which communicate with the sucking port and the discharge port of the cavity chamber 61. When the sleeve 60 is expanded, a valve body 68 of the valve mechanism (y) is forcibly pushed down. Then, in the valve mechanism (w) valve body 66 is separated from a valve seat 65 and the valve is opened. When the sleeve 60 is contracted, the force for pushing down the valve body 68 is released. The valve body 66 is compressed to the valve seat by the energizing force of a spring 70. Thus the valve is closed. In the valve mechanism (y), the valve body 68 is compressed to a valve seat 67 by the expanding operation of the sleeve 60, and the valve is closed. When the sleeve 60 is contracted, the valve body 66 hits the valve seat 65 in the valve mechanism (w). Thus the valve body 68 is pushed down by way of a valve rod 69. Thus the valve is opened.
