<モールドの作製>
以下に、本実施例におけるモールドの具体的な作製方法について説明する。本実施例では、図2(b)に示される吐出口に対応する凸部4a、流路に対応する凸部4b、吐出口に対応する遮光膜5を有するモールド4を作製した。
以下に本実施例における液体吐出ヘッドの具体的な作製方法について図2を用いて説明する。

Claims (8)
- 液体を吐出するための吐出口が設けられた吐出口形成部材を有する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法であって、
(a)下地基板上に、重合開始剤を含有せず、該重合開始剤の存在下に活性エネルギー線の照射により重合可能な化合物を含有する樹脂組成物からなる第一層と、該第一層上に前記重合開始剤を含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性樹脂組成物からなる第二層とが形成された基板を用意する工程、
(b)少なくとも前記吐出口のパターンが形成されたモールドを、前記第一層及び第二層に押し付ける工程、
(c)前記モールドを前記第一層及び第二層に押し付けた状態で、前記モールド又は下地基板に配置された、前記吐出口に対応する部分に対する活性エネルギー線の照射を選択的に遮蔽する機構を介して、前記モールドあるいは下地基板越しに前記第二層に対して活性エネルギー線を照射した後、露光後ベークを行い、活性エネルギー線の照射された第二層を硬化させると共に、前記第二層に含まれる重合反応の反応点が拡散した第一層の一部に硬化部を形成し、第一層の残りを未硬化部として残す工程、
(d)前記モールドを除去する工程、
(e)前記第二層を他の支持基板に対して貼り付ける工程、
(f)前記第一層の未硬化部を溶解させることで、前記下地基板を分離する工程、
を含み、
前記モールドが、前記活性エネルギー線を選択的に遮蔽する機構を有するモールドであって、
前記工程(c)において活性エネルギー線を照射する工程が、前記第二層に対して前記モールド越しに活性エネルギー線を照射する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記下地基板が活性エネルギー線を遮蔽する基板である請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
- 液体を吐出するための吐出口が設けられた吐出口形成部材を有する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法であって、
(a)下地基板上に、重合開始剤を含有せず、該重合開始剤の存在下に活性エネルギー線の照射により重合可能な化合物を含有する樹脂組成物からなる第一層と、該第一層上に前記重合開始剤を含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性樹脂組成物からなる第二層とが形成された基板を用意する工程、
(b)少なくとも前記吐出口のパターンが形成されたモールドを、前記第一層及び第二層に押し付ける工程、
(c)前記モールドを前記第一層及び第二層に押し付けた状態で、前記モールド又は下地基板に配置された、前記吐出口に対応する部分に対する活性エネルギー線の照射を選択的に遮蔽する機構を介して、前記モールドあるいは下地基板越しに前記第二層に対して活性エネルギー線を照射した後、露光後ベークを行い、活性エネルギー線の照射された第二層を硬化させると共に、前記第二層に含まれる重合反応の反応点が拡散した第一層の一部に硬化部を形成し、第一層の残りを未硬化部として残す工程、
(d)前記モールドを除去する工程、
(e)前記第二層を他の支持基板に対して貼り付ける工程、
(f)前記第一層の未硬化部を溶解させることで、前記下地基板を分離する工程、
を含み、
前記下地基板が、前記活性エネルギー線を選択的に遮蔽する機構を有する下地基板であって、
前記(c)において活性エネルギー線を照射する工程が、前記第二層に対して前記下地基板越しに活性エネルギー線を照射する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記モールドが活性エネルギー線を遮蔽するモールドである請求項3に記載の液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記第一層に含有される重合可能な化合物が硬化することにより形成される樹脂が撥水性を有する請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記第二層を他の支持基板に対して貼り付ける工程(e)の前に、前記第一層の未硬化部を溶解させることで、前記下地基板を分離する工程(f)を行う請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記モールドは、さらに吐出口と連通する液体の流路を形成するためのパターンを有し、前記吐出口形成部材に同時に前記液体の流路を形成する請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
- 液体を吐出するための吐出口と連通する液体の流路を形成するための流路形成部材を有する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法であって、
(a)下地基板上に、重合開始剤を含有せず、前記重合開始剤の存在下に活性エネルギー線の照射により重合可能な化合物を含有する樹脂組成物からなる第一層と、該第一層上に前記重合開始剤を含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性樹脂組成物からなる第二層とが形成された基板を用意する工程、
(b)前記流路のパターンが形成されたモールドを、前記第二層に押し付ける工程、
(c)前記モールドを第二層に押し付けた状態で、前記モールドあるいは下地基板越しに前記第二層に対して活性エネルギー線を照射した後、露光後ベークを行い、前記第二層を硬化させると共に、前記第二層に含まれる重合反応の反応点が拡散した第一層の一部に硬化部を形成し、第一層の残りを未硬化部として残す工程、
(d)前記モールドを除去する工程、
(e)前記第二層を他の支持基板に対して貼り付ける工程、
(f)前記第一層の未硬化部を溶解させることで、前記下地基板を前記第一層の硬化部から分離する工程、
を含む液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
