Description

本発明は車両用シートのシートバックを構成するフレーム構造体、詳しくは車両の後突時に、乗員を保護するシートバックのフレーム構造体に関する。
車両が後方から後突された際に、乗員、特に乗員の頚部を保護する車両用シートが種々提案されている。例えば、アクティブヘッドレスト付シートは、後突時の衝撃による乗員の背部の後方移動に追従して、ヘッドレストが前方に移動して乗員の頭部ひいては頚部を保護している。
一方、後突時に、ヘッドレストが前方に移動せずに、シートバックを構成する構成部材で、衝撃を吸収するものとして、例えば、特開２００９-１０７５７１号公報、特開く２０１０−１８１４０号公報などに開示されているものがある。
ところで、車両が後突された際、乗員はシートバックに押し付けられ、シートバックは後傾状にシートクッションに取付けられているので、後突時に乗員の上半身は上方に移動し易くなり、乗員の頭部がヘッドレストに対して所定位置に位置しなくなる。

以上、車両の後突における衝撃に対する乗員保護を目的とする提案は、ヘッドレストを可動にしたり、或いは、シートバック内部の構成部材の変形による衝撃吸収構造である。
そのため、シートバックの内部構造が複雑化して、部品点数など多くなる不具合がある。
そこで、本発明は従来品に対して構造が簡単で、車両の後突時に乗員の保護機能を果たすことができるシートバックのフレーム構造体を提供することを目的とする。
以上の目的を達成するための本発明に係るシートバックのフレーム構造体は、ヘッドレスト支持用の上部フレームに、後突時に乗員の上半身から入力される上向きの荷重を受けるズリ上がり防止プレートを一体に設け、該ズリ上がり防止プレートは、全体が上端方向を前方に向けて傾斜状に形成して、後突時の乗員のズリ上がりを防止してなることを特徴とする構成である。
以上のズリ上がり防止プレートは上部フレームが板金製の場合にあっては、その一部をプレス加工して形成し、上部フレームがパイプ製など上下方向の幅が狭いものにおいては、溶接などで固設するのが望ましい。
本発明によれば、後突時に、乗員の上半身の上方への移動をズリ上がり防止プレートで抑えることができる。従って、車両の後突時の乗員の頭部がヘッドレストから外れることがなく、乗員の頚椎保護が確実になり、しかも、構造簡単で部品数を増加させることがない。

以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図１はシートバックのフレーム構造体の上部であるヘッドレスト支持部側を示し、フレームは、左右のサイドフレーム１、１と、サイドフレーム１、１の下部を一体に連結する下部フレーム（不図示）と、サイドフレーム１、１の上部に一体に連結する上部フレーム２とから構成されている。
図示するサイドフレーム１、１、上部フレーム２は板金製で、サイドフレーム１、１はシートバックの前後方向に向けて、各々の端縁に補強用のフランジが一体に設けてある。
以上の上部フレーム２には、図２に示すように、ヘッドレストＬ支持用の筒状ホルダー５、５が固設され、このホルダー５、５間には、全体が上端方向を前方に向けて突出するように傾斜するズリ上がり防止プレート４が一体に設けてある。
このズリ上がり防止プレート４は、後突時に乗員が後方且つ上方に擦りあがらないように面に角度をつけて、乗員の上半身上部を抑えることができるようにしている。
即ち、ズリ上がり防止プレートは、全体が上端方向を前方に向けて傾斜状に形成して、後突時の乗員のズリ上がりを防止している。
以上のズリ上がり防止プレート４は、上部フレーム２をプレス成形する際に同時に成形している。
図中２１、２２は上部フレーム２のフランジ、４０はズリ上がり防止プレート４に設けた補強用ビードを各々示す
また、図中６０、６０…は、発泡体製パッド（不図示）を支持するバネで、その上端が前記上部フレーム２の外側部２２、２３に掛止され、パッドはその上部をズリ上がり防止プレート４の前面に接合するように配置されている。
なお、前記サイドフレーム１、１、上部フレーム２の前面側は、前記バネ６０、６０に支持されるパッドが配置され、このパッドは表皮材で被覆され、シートバックＳＢを形成している。
以上の図示する上部フレーム２は板金製であるが、これをパイプを折曲して形成した上部フレームの場合には、ズリ上がり防止プレートを別体に成形して上部フレームに溶接して固設するのが望ましい。
なお、左右のサイドフレーム１、１の上部には、前端部３０が前記上部フレーム２に対して前方に突出状に形成した肩衝撃吸収部３が前方に向けて延設されている。
この肩衝撃吸収部３の前端部３０がサイドフレーム１、１の前フランジ１１、１１の延長状に形成されたフランジで、この前端部３０に、乗員の肩部からの荷重が入力されるように構成されている。そして、肩衝撃吸収部３の外側面には補強用の段部３１が形成されている。従って、この肩衝撃吸収部３によって、上部フレーム２は図２に示すように、後方である乗員が着座した際、深い位置になる。
以上のホルダー５、５を取付ける外側部２３、２３は、図３に示すように、湾曲状に形成され、端縁が肩衝撃吸収部３、３に一体に溶接されている。
後突時に乗員Ｍの上半身から入力される上向きの荷重をズリ上がり防止プレートで受け、乗員が後方且つ上方に擦り上がることがない。
従って、前記ズリ上がり防止プレート４は、従来の上部フレームの一部を傾斜状に形成すれば良いため、構造が簡単で部品数も増加させることもない。また、上部フレームに、ズリ上がり防止プレートを固設するものにおいては、上部フレームの剛性が向上し、ヘッドレストを確実に支持できる。

Claims (1)

  1. ヘッドレスト支持用の上部フレームに、後突時に乗員の上半身から入力される上向きの荷重を受けるズリ上がり防止プレートを一体に設け、該ズリ上がり防止プレートは、全体が上端方向を前方に向けて傾斜状に形成して、後突時の乗員のズリ上がりを防止してなることを特徴とするシートバックのフレーム構造体。
