Description
本発明は被覆された銀触媒の製造方法に関する。本発明はさらに、銀触媒自体、およびホルムアルデヒド合成におけるそれらの有利な使用に取り組んでいる。
a) 銀結晶を当該の元素のゾルゲル溶液と接触させ、且つ、
b) 得られる銀触媒を収集し、
c) 有機溶剤を除き、且つ
d) その後、50℃と銀の融点との間の温度で熱処理する
という流れによって、上記の問題に対する解決が、単純であるがそれに対して同様に有利であるように達成される。被膜にもかかわらず、得られる銀触媒は、相応する被覆を有さない元々使用されていた銀結晶とちょうど同等に活性並びに選択性があり、且つ、同様に良好な空時収量をみちびく。しかしながら、同時に、該被膜は、銀結晶の焼結を妨げるために役立ち、そのことが触媒の著しく延びた耐用期間、従って、触媒交換がないことによる劇的な費用の低減をみちびく。さらには、完全に意外なことに、触媒交換自体が、より容易に成し遂げられ、なぜなら、交換される材料がケーク化しておらず、従来の材料と比較して反応器からすぐに除去できるからである。
触媒の製造
Ag触媒を、コロイド状ベーマイト(AlOOH)ゾルまたはポリマーAl2O3ゾルを用いて、セラミックスのγ−Al2O3層で被覆する。

図3に示される装置を使用して活性試験を実施した。
注入容積 0.9μl、分割 40、線速度 30.9cm/秒、温度プログラム 6分 等温120℃、10K/分で200℃に、保持時間1分、1サンプルあたり5注入。キャピラリーGCカラムを出発温度120℃で稼働させ、ホルムアルデヒドの重合またはMeOHでのメチラール形成を防止した。

Claims (11)
- ホルムアルデヒド製造のための触媒としての、アルミニウム、ケイ素、ジルコニウム、スズ、チタンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される元素の酸化物材料の薄い多孔質の被膜を有する銀結晶の製造方法において、
a) 銀結晶を当該の元素のゾルゲル溶液と接触させ、且つ
b) 得られる銀結晶を収集し、
c) 有機溶剤を除き、且つ、
d) その後、50℃から銀の融点の間の温度で熱処理し、前記多孔質の被膜が、0.3μm〜10μmの厚さを有することを特徴とする製造方法。 - 工程a)を、有機溶剤を含む溶剤中で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 選択されるゾルゲル溶液が、有機溶剤としての相応するアルコール中での当該の元素のアルコキシドであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 選択される当該の元素のアルコキシド化合物が、メトキシド、エトキシド、プロポキシド、イソプロポキシド、n−ブトキシド、sec−ブトキシド、イソブトキシド、tert−ブトキシド、n−プロポキシドまたはそれらの構造異性体の群から選択されるものであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 得られる銀結晶から周囲条件下で溶剤を蒸発させることによって溶剤を除くことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱処理を400℃〜800℃の温度で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得られる、ホルムアルデヒド製造のための触媒としての、アルミニウム、ケイ素、ジルコニウム、スズ、チタンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される元素の酸化物材料の薄い多孔質の被膜を有する銀結晶であって、前記多孔質の被膜が0.3μm〜10μmの厚さを有する前記銀結晶。
- 平均粒径分布0.15mm〜2.5mmを有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の銀結晶。
- 酸化物材料がSiO2、様々な種類のアルミニウム酸化物、TiO2、ZrO2、酸化物の混合物または、それらの化合物の混合酸化物の群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の銀結晶。
- >1700g/l〜<3800g/lのバルク密度を有する、請求項7に記載のホルムアルデヒド製造のための銀触媒。
- ホルムアルデヒド製造のための触媒としての、請求項7から9までのいずれか1項に記載の銀結晶の使用。
