・ プーリーとベルトの歯のブランクとの間の摩擦係数などの因子に大きく依存している。
a)前記バリア層および前記織られたまたは織られていないカバーを非加硫化ベルトブランクのいわゆる活性面に適用するステップであって、前記バリア層が、好ましくは、生の状態の歯用エラストマーの張力より大きい50%張力をこのステップの始めで示す材料から作製され、または換言すれば、バリア層の50%引張弾性率は、生の状態の歯のものより大きいステップと、
b)加圧下でブランクを加硫することによって、順次前記バリア層および前記カバーで覆われた歯を示す活性面を備えるベルトを成型するステップとを含むことを特徴とする、上記のベルトを製造する方法を提供する。
Claims (17)
- 織られたまたは織られていない外側のカバーを備えたエチレンαオレフィンエラストマー系のエラストマー歯を示す伝動ベルトであって、歯(3)が、熱可塑性マトリックスとエラストマー性マトリックスの組み合わせであるポリマーマトリックスを有する、熱可塑性エラストマー/加硫熱可塑性樹脂(TPE/TPV)の熱可塑性エラストマーからなるバリア層(4)で覆われ、歯(3)の少なくともフランク(8)上にある前記外側のカバー(5)がバリア層(4)の厚みの一部分内に部分的に含まれていることを特徴とする伝動ベルト。
- 熱可塑性エラストマー(TPE/TPV)のエラストマー部分が、エチレンαオレフィンから作製されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のベルト。
- 前記エラストマー部分がエチレンプロピレンターポリマーゴム(EPDM)であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のベルト。
- 熱可塑性エラストマー(TPE/TPV)の熱可塑性マトリックスが、熱可塑性オレフィン(TPO)から作製されていることを特徴とする、請求項2または3に記載のベルト。
- 前記熱可塑性オレフィン(TPO)が低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のベルト。
- バリア層(4)の厚さが、50μm〜500μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- 外側のカバー(5)が、バリア層(4)の厚さの25%〜75%にわたって含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- エチレンαオレフィンに基づく前記歯のエラストマーが、EPDMまたはEPMであることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- 外側のカバー(5)が、ポリエチレンに基づいていることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- 外側のカバー(5)が、ポリエチレン(PE)から作製された外面と歯のエラストマーの加硫温度を超える融点を有する材料から作製された内面とを有する2成分ヤーンまたはファイバを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- 外側のカバー(5)の質量が、20g/m2〜120g/m2の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- 外側のカバー(5)の質量が30g/m 2 〜90g/m 2 の範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載のベルト。
- a)前記バリア層(4)および前記カバー(5)を非加硫化ベルトブランクのいわゆる活性面に適用するステップと、
b)加圧下でブランクを加硫することによって、順次前記バリア層(4)および前記織られたまたは織られていないカバー(5)で覆われた歯を示す活性面を備えるベルトを成型により形成するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から12のいずれかに記載のベルトを製造する方法。 - バリア層(4)が、生の状態の歯のエラストマーの弾性率より少なくとも5倍高い範囲にある50%引張弾性率を、ステップa)の際に示す材料から作製されていることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 50%引張弾性率が、生の状態の歯のエラストマーの弾性率より5倍〜30倍高い範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の方法。
- バリア層(4)および外側のカバー(5)が、成型をする前に、最初に一体化されることを特徴とする、請求項13、14または15に記載の方法。
- バリア層(4)および外側のカバー(5)が、カレンダー加工および圧延により最初に一体化されることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の方法。
