Description
A)対向する側端部分を有する第1のパネルと、
B)対向する側端部分を有する第2のパネルであって、前記第1のパネルと前記第2のパネルとの間に空孔を画定するように、対向する前記第1のパネルの側端部に連結した前記第2のパネルと、
C)前記空孔の少なくとも一部を占める膨張ポリマーであって、前記膨張ポリマーは、熱により膨張し、硬化する構造接着剤であり、前記接着剤は、硬化中に当初の容積の約150〜350%分膨張して、0.3〜1g/cm 3 の密度を有する膨張したポリマーを形成し、硬化する前に、少なくとも1つの非ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂、フェノール化合物、アミノフェノール化合物、第1級または第2級の脂肪族アミンまたは脂環式アミン、ベンジルアルコール、芳香族アミン、ベンジルアミン、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレートまたはチオールでブロックまたはキャップされたイソシアネート基を有する反応性強化剤;エポキシ末端ゴム、コアシェルゴム、または両方、少なくとも1つの膨張剤、および1つまたは複数のエポキシ硬化剤を含む前記膨張ポリマーと
を備える、車両用ボディーシェル構造物である。
構造接着剤1〜3を、表1に記載する基本処方に基づき調製する。各構造接着剤1〜3に関する発泡剤組成は、表2に記載するとおりである。
構造接着剤4〜9を、表3に記載する発泡剤を用いて、実施例1〜3と同様の基本処方に基づき調製する。
この実施例では、実施例1〜9のいずれかで用いられた構造接着剤を、エチレンアクリル酸フィルム内に封入する。当該フィルムの厚みは、1〜3mmで変化する。当該封入フィルムは、上記実施例と同様に試験試料を形成するために用いられ、これは、170℃で硬化して構造接着剤を膨張させる。硬化したら、エチレンアクリル酸フィルムは、融解し、基材と結合を形成する。曲げ試験を、前回と同様に、3点曲げ試験について実施する。当該試験より得られた結果は、アクリル酸フィルムは、エネルギー吸収において若干の好ましい効果を有することを示唆する。
Claims (18)
- 対向する第1の側面および第2の側面を有する強化された車両用パネルであって、
前記第1の側面が予想衝撃荷重側に向き、前記第2の側面が予想衝撃荷重とは異なる方向に向き、前記車両用パネルは、前記第2の側面に接着した膨張ポリマーの層を有し、前記膨張ポリマーは、熱により膨張し、硬化する構造接着剤であり、前記接着剤は、硬化中に当初の容積の約150〜350%分膨張して、0.3〜1g/cm 3 の密度を有する膨張したポリマーを形成し、硬化する前に、少なくとも1つの非ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂、フェノール化合物、アミノフェノール化合物、第1級または第2級の脂肪族アミンまたは脂環式アミン、ベンジルアルコール、芳香族アミン、ベンジルアミン、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレートまたはチオールでブロックされ、またはキャップされたイソシアネート基を有する反応性強化剤;エポキシ末端ゴム、コアシェルゴム、または両方、少なくとも1つの膨張剤、および1つまたは複数のエポキシ硬化剤を含む、強化された車両用パネル。 - 前記構造接着剤が、硬化前に、25℃の温度において、500Pa・s〜1,000,000Pa・sの粘度を有する液体またはペーストである、請求項1に記載の強化された車両用パネル。
- 前記膨張剤が、化学的発泡剤および膨張性マイクロバルーンを含む、請求項1または2に記載の強化された車両用パネル。
- 前記化学的発泡剤がアゾタイプ発泡剤であり、前記膨張性マイクロバルーンが5〜25ミクロンの平均粒子サイズを有する、請求項3に記載の強化された車両用パネル。
- 前記膨張ポリマーの層が、3〜12mmの厚さを有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の強化された車両用パネル。
- 接着剤フィルムの層が、前記車両用パネルと前記膨張ポリマーの層との間に介在する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の強化された車両用パネル。
- 熱により膨張可能および硬化可能な構造接着剤の層を、前記車両用パネルの前記第2の側面の少なくとも一部に塗布するステップと、前記構造接着剤が、当初の容積の約150〜350%分膨張し、硬化して、前記車両用パネルの前記第2の側面に接着した、0.3〜1g/cm 3 の密度を有する膨張したポリマー層を形成するように、前記層を高温で処理するステップとを含み、前記熱により膨張可能および硬化可能な構造接着剤が、硬化する前に、少なくとも1つの非ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂、フェノール化合物、アミノフェノール化合物、第1級または第2級の脂肪族アミンまたは脂環式アミン、ベンジルアルコール、芳香族アミン、ベンジルアミン、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレートまたはチオールでブロックまたはキャップされたイソシアネート基を有する反応性強化剤;エポキシ末端ゴム、コアシェルゴム、または両方、少なくとも1つの膨張剤、および1つまたは複数のエポキシ硬化剤を含む、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の強化された車両用パネルを作製する方法。
- 前記構造接着剤が、前記構造接着剤が膨張する条件下で軟化または溶融し、前記膨張した、および硬化した構造接着剤および前記車両用パネルの前記第2の側面に接着する熱可塑性材料に封入される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記車両用パネルが、焼付け硬化を必要とするコーティングでコーティングされ、前記コーティングおよび前記構造接着剤が同時に硬化される、請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- A)対向する側端部分を有する第1のパネルと、
B)対向する側端部分を有する第2のパネルであって、前記第1のパネルと前記第2のパネルとの間に空孔を画定するように、前記第1のパネルの対向する側端部に連結した前記第2のパネルと、
C)前記空孔の少なくとも一部を占める膨張ポリマーであって、前記膨張ポリマーは、熱により膨張し、硬化する構造接着剤であり、前記接着剤は、硬化中に当初の容積の約150〜350%分膨張して、0.3〜1g/cm 3 の密度を有する膨張したポリマーを形成し、硬化する前に、少なくとも1つの非ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂、フェノール化合物、アミノフェノール化合物、第1級または第2級の脂肪族アミンまたは脂環式アミン、ベンジルアルコール、芳香族アミン、ベンジルアミン、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレートまたはチオールでブロックまたはキャップされたイソシアネート基を有する反応性強化剤;エポキシ末端ゴム、コアシェルゴム、または両方、少なくとも1つの膨張剤、および1つまたは複数のエポキシ硬化剤を含む膨張ポリマーと
を備える車両用ボディーシェル構造物。 - 前記構造接着剤が、硬化する前に、25℃の温度において、500Pa・s〜1,000,000Pa・sの粘度を有する液体またはペーストである、請求項10に記載の車両用ボディーシェル構造物。
- 前記膨張剤が、化学的発泡剤および膨張性マイクロバルーンを含む、請求項10または11に記載の車両用ボディーシェル構造物。
- 前記化学的発泡剤がアゾタイプ発泡剤であり、前記膨張性マイクロバルーンが5〜25ミクロンの平均粒子サイズを有する、請求項12に記載の車両用ボディーシェル構造物。
- 前記膨張ポリマーの層が、3〜12mmの厚さを有する、請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の車両用ボディーシェル構造物。
- 接着剤フィルムの層が、前記パネルと前記膨張ポリマーの層との間に介在する、請求項10から14のいずれか一項に記載の車両用ボディーシェル構造物。
- 熱により膨張可能および硬化可能な構造接着剤を、前記空孔内に配置するステップと、前記構造接着剤が、前記空孔内で、当初の容積の約150〜350%分膨張し、硬化して、0.3〜1g/cm 3 の密度を有する膨張したポリマーを形成するように、前記構造接着剤を高温で処理するステップとを含み、前記構造接着剤が、硬化する前に、少なくとも1つの非ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂、フェノール化合物、アミノフェノール化合物、第1級または第2級の脂肪族アミンまたは脂環式アミン、ベンジルアルコール、芳香族アミン、ベンジルアミン、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレートまたはチオールでブロックまたはキャップされたイソシアネート基を有する反応性強化剤;エポキシ末端ゴム、コアシェルゴム、または両方、少なくとも1つの膨張剤、および1つまたは複数のエポキシ硬化剤を含む、請求項10から15のいずれか一項に記載の強化された車両用ボディーシェル構造物を作製する方法。
- 前記構造接着剤が、前記構造接着剤が膨張する条件下で軟化または溶融し、前記膨張した、および硬化した構造接着剤および前記パネルに接着する熱可塑性材料に封入される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記パネルが、焼付け硬化を必要とするコーティングでコーティングされ、前記コーティング、および前記構造接着剤が同時に硬化される、請求項16または17に記載の方法。
