Description
本発明は、熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材を加熱加圧することで接合する熱融着装置に関するものである。
可塑性素材で形成したシート材を接合する熱融着装置として、従来、上下に配設された一対の無端ベルトにおける相対向する往動走行部の相互間に熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の送り経路が形成され、各無端ベルトの往動走行部における前記送り経路との対向面の反対側面に沿って加熱ユニットを配置するとともに、加熱ユニットよりも送り方向下流側に冷却ユニットを配置し、その加熱ユニットでの加熱によって、上述のシート材を溶着可能温度範囲まで加熱して溶着するものが提案されている。
ところが、この従来のものでは、上側無端ベルト及び加熱ユニットを保持している上部構造体(取付枠)を開閉揺動可能に構成し、接合操作時には、送り経路を構成している上下一対の無端ベルトは一定の間隔で対向しており、加熱ユニットも所定の長さ接触することになるから、シート材はいわゆる直線的接合しかできないという問題があった。このため、あえて曲線接合させようとすると、シード材に横方向への無理な力が作用し、皺を発生させることになり、近年要望の多い無縫製被服の製造に充分対応できていないという問題があった。
本発明は、このような点に着目して提案されるもので、曲線接合させても皺などがよることなく接合できる熱融着装置を提供することを目的とする。
上述の目的を達成するために、本発明は、上下に配設された一対の無端ベルトにおける相対向する往動走行部の相互間に熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材を重ね合わせた状態で走行させる送り経路が形成され、各無端ベルトの往動走行部における前記送り経路を構成している対向面の反対側面に沿って加熱ユニットを配置するとともに、加熱ユニット配設個所よりも送り方向下流側に冷却ユニットを配置して前記加熱ユニツトの加熱加圧でシート材同士を接合するた熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の熱融着装置であって、前記加熱ユニットを無端ベルトの送り経路形成部分に対して進退移動可能に構成し、加熱ユニットの進退移動を25Hzという短周期で繰り返し行うように構成したことを特徴としている。
本発明では、加熱ユニットでの押圧と押圧解除作動とを25Hzという短周期で繰り返すようにしていることから、押圧解除時でのシート材の動きで曲線部分の接合を行うことができる。このとき、シート材の動きを規制する加圧力が作用しないことから、シート材に皺などが発生する事がない。
1・2…無端ベルト、3…シート材送り経路、12…加熱ユニット、13…冷却ユニット、14…流体圧アクチュエータ(空圧シリンダ)。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示す概念図、図2であり、この熱融着装置は、四フッ化エチレン樹脂などの耐熱性・耐摩耗性に優れた合成樹脂製の一対の無端ベルト(1)(2)をその一部が対向する状態で上下に配置し、対向しているベルト面間をシート材(S)の送り経路(3)に形成している。
上側に位置する無端ベルト(1)の駆動機構は電動モータ等の駆動源(4)に連動接続されている駆動プーリ(5)と送り経路(3)の前後両端部にそれぞれ位置する従動プーリ(6a)(6b)と、テンションプーリ(7)とで構成してある。
また、下側に位置する無端ベルト(2)の駆動機構は電動モータ等の駆動源(8)に連動接続されている駆動プーリ(9)と送り経路(3)の前後両端部にそれぞれ位置する従動プーリ(10a)(10b)と、テンションプーリ(11)とで構成してある。
上側に位置している無端ベルト(1)での送り経路(3)を構成している部分の裏面側(内面側)に加熱ユニット(12)と冷却ユニット(13)とが配設してある。なお、この加熱ユニット(12)は冷却ユニット(13)よりもシート材(S)の移動方向上手側に位置している。
この送り経路(3)の上側に位置する加熱ユニット(12)及び冷却ユニット(13)は空圧シリンダ(14)(15)でそれぞれ送り経路(3)に向けて進退するように構成してある。
さらに、下側に位置している無端ベルト(2)での送り経路(3)を構成している部分の裏面側(内面側)に加熱ユニット(16)と冷却ユニット(17)とが前記上側に位置する加熱ユニット(12)及び冷却ユニット(13)に対応する個所に配設してある。
この送り経路(3)の下側に位置する加熱ユニット(16)は空圧シリンダ(18)で送り経路(3)に対して進退するように構成してあり、送り経路(3)の下側に位置する冷却ユニット(17)は送り経路(3)に対しては相対固定されている。
上下に対向して位置している加熱ユニット(12)(16)はそれぞれヒータ加熱されるようになっており、上下に対向して配置されている冷却ユニット(13)(17)は冷却水等の冷媒液で冷却されるようになっている。
なお、両加熱ユニット(12)(16)及び冷却ユニット(13)は、図2に示す空圧制御系を使用して、加熱ユニット(12)(16)の空圧シリンダ(14)(15)及び冷却ユニット(13)の空圧シリンダ(18)に圧縮空気を給排することで進退作動するようにしてある。更に、上側に配置されている加熱ユニット(12)及び冷却ユニット(13)は同期して25Hz(40ms)という短周期でシート材(S)に対して加圧−圧力解除を繰り返すようにしている。
加熱ユニット(12)及び冷却ユニット(13)を同期して加圧−圧力解除を繰り返すことで、シート材(S)に作用する圧力が間歇的になることから、シート材(S)を左右にずらしてもシート材(S)に捩れ力が作用することがなくなるから、シート材(S)の挟圧位置(接合位置)を変化させることが軽い力でできるようになり、シート材(S)に皺を生じさせることを抑制できる。
上述の実施形態では、下側にも加熱ユニット(16)及び冷却ユニット(17)とを配置したものについて説明したが、下側では加熱ユニット(16)と冷却ユニット(17)とを省略して、無端ベルト(2)及び回転ローラで上側の加熱ユニット(12)及び冷却ユニット(13)の押圧力を受けるようにしてもよい。
本発明は、熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の曲線接合が容易になることから、素材シートの接合のみならず、無縫製被服の接合に利用することができる。

Claims (3)
- 上下に配設された一対の無端ベルト(1)(2)における相対向する往動走行部の相互間に熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材を重ね合わせた状態で走行させる送り経路(3)が形成され、各無端ベルト(1)(2)の往動走行部における前記送り経路(3)を構成している対向面の反対側面に沿って加熱ユニット(12)を配置するとともに、この加熱ユニット配設個所よりも送り方向下流側に冷却ユニット(13)を配置して前記加熱ユニツト(12)の加熱加圧でシート材同士を接合する熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の熱融着装置であって、
前記加熱ユニット(12)を無端ベルト(1)(2)の送り経路形成部分に向けて進退可能に構成し、加熱ユニット(12)の進退作動を25Hzという短周期で繰り返し行うに構成したことを特徴とする熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の熱融着装置。 - 加熱ユニット(12)と冷却ユニット(13)とを同期させて無端ベルト(1)(2)の送り経路形成部分に向けて進退可能に構成した請求項1に記載の熱可塑性素材で形成したシート材の熱融着装置。
