Description
Claims (26)
- 第1および第2の側端をそれぞれ有する対向するシートを含む、連続的に動く細長いシール可能なウェブからパウチを製造する方法であって、
(a)前記ウェブを少なくとも1つの側端に沿って長手方向にシールする工程と、
(b)自らの間にシーリング経路を画定する第1および第2のジョー支持部材を用意する工程であって、前記ジョー支持部材が、前記シーリング経路に沿って前記ウェブと実質的に同じ速度で移動する複数の協働対の嵌合ジョーを含み、少なくとも1つの前記ジョー支持部材が可撓性の非円形コンベヤを含む、工程と、
(c)一対の嵌合ジョー間に前記ウェブを把持し、前記ウェブを加熱してシートを接合することにより、前記シーリング経路に沿って前記ウェブが移動するにつれて、前記ウェブに複数の横方向シールを形成する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 少なくとも1つの前記コンベヤが、可撓性であるとともに非円形の移動経路を有している請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各コンベヤが複数のジョーを含んでいる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2対の嵌合ジョーが、前記シーリング経路に沿って同時に前記ウェブに係合している請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブがヒートシール可能な層を含み、前記シーリング経路の少なくとも一部に沿って前記ウェブに熱が加えられる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シーリング経路が平面である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シーリング経路が弓形である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記長手方向のシールおよび前記パウチの下部を形成する少なくとも1つの横方向シールの形成後に、部分形成されたパウチを充填する工程を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記パウチが液体で充填されている請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記液体が、モノマーと開始剤とを含む反応性モノマー混合物である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが支持されない熱可塑性ウェブである請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブがインパルスヒートを用いてシールされる請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが支持されたウェブである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが2枚の別個のシート材料を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが一回折り畳んだシート材料を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェブが略一定の速度で移動する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法により作成されたパウチ。
- 前記ジョー支持部材の1つが、複数のジョーを支持するドラムを含んでいる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1および第2の側端をそれぞれ有する対向するシートを含む、連続的に動く細長いシール可能なウェブからパウチを製造する方法であって、
(a)前記ウェブを少なくとも1つの側端に沿って長手方向にシールする工程と、
(b)自らの間にシーリング経路を画定する一対の協働コンベヤを用意する工程であって、前記コンベヤが、前記ウェブと実質的に同じ速度で移動する少なくとも一対の協働嵌合ジョーを含む、工程と、
(c)前記シーリング経路の少なくとも一部に沿って一対の嵌合ジョー間で前記ウェブを係合して、界面に沿って2つの対向するシートを接合することにより、前記ウェブに複数の横方向シールを形成する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 第1および第2の側端をそれぞれ有する対向するシートを含む、連続的に動く細長いシール可能なウェブからパウチを製造する装置であって、
(a)前記ウェブの少なくとも1つの側端に沿って長手方向シールを形成して、前記端部をシールするように構成された第1のシーリングステーションと、
(b)前記ウェブに複数の横方向シールを形成するように構成された第2のシーリングステーションであって、前記第2のシーリングステーションが、前記コンベヤ間でシーリング経路を画定する対向するコンベヤを含み、前記コンベヤが、前記シーリング経路に沿って前記ウェブの対向する側部表面を係合するように構成された少なくとも一対の協働嵌合ジョーを含む、第2のシーリングステーションと、
を含む装置。 - 少なくとも1つの前記コンベヤが、可撓性であるとともに非円形の移動経路を有している請求項20に記載の装置。
- 各コンベヤが、他方のコンベヤのジョーと協働してジョーの嵌合対を形成する複数のジョーを含む請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記ジョーがシーリング手段を含む請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記コンベヤが、互いに、かつ前記移動するウェブに対して固定位置のままである請求項20に記載の装置。
- パウチの下部を画定する少なくとも1つの横方向シールの形成後であって、前記パウチの上部を画定する前記横方向シールの形成前に、前記パウチへ液体を注入するように構成された充填管を更に含む請求項20に記載の装置。
- ウェブに横方向シールを生成する装置であって、
コンベヤ間にシーリング経路を画定する一対の対向するコンベヤを有し、前記コンベヤが、前記シーリング経路に沿って前記ウェブの対向する側部表面を係合するように構成された少なくとも一対の協働嵌合ジョーを含む、装置。
