Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明总体上涉及制袋、填充袋和密封袋,更具体而言涉及一种用于获取可密封带材并密封该带材以形成一连串独立的填充袋的方法。
背景技术
用于制袋、填充袋和密封袋的包装设备用在多种产品的制造中,这些产品包括食品、饮料、保健产品和清洁产品,这种包装设备在现有技术中是已知的。
例如,授予给Bennett的美国专利(5870887)公开了一种制袋-填充-密封式包装机,其中通过使一对密封夹具彼此接触来交叉密封包装材料。使密封夹具沿着包装材料的输送方向跟随包装材料运动,同时使它们保持相同的状态,从而使密封夹具接触并利用单一的驱动源装置随之运动。通过凸轮机构将电机的转动转化成沿着包装材料的输送线路的往复直线运动,所述凸轮机构由圆形凸轮板和臂构成,转化后的往复运动被传递到模块(block)。
但是本行业一直在寻求改进的制袋设备,其更加可靠、易于维护且在更高速度下运行。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种用于由连续运动的可密封的细长带材制造填充密封袋的方法和设备。一方面,本发明提供了一种由连续运动的可密封的细长带材生产袋的方法,所述带材包括相对的两片,每片都具有第一侧边和第二侧边,其中,所述方法包括以下步骤:沿着至少一个侧边纵向密封所述带材;提供一对协同操作的输送机,在所述输送机之间限定密封通道,所述输送机包括至少一个协同操作的配对夹具,所述夹具以基本上与所述带材相同的速度移动;以及通过使介于一个配对夹具之间的带材沿着至少一部分密封通道接合,以沿着界面使所述相对的两片粘结,在所述带材中形成多个横向密封。
在一种实施方式中,至少一个输送机是可挠曲的,并且在非圆形的通道上移动。每个输送机包括一个或多个夹具。在一种具体实施方式中,至少两个配对夹具沿着密封通道同时接合带材。在优选的实施方式中,带材包括可热密封层,沿着该密封通道的至少一部分加热带材。
在一种实施方式中,该密封通道是平的,而在另一实施方式中,该密封通道是弓形的。
另一方面,本发明的方法还包括,在沿着带材的侧边形成纵向密封以及形成该袋底的至少一个横向密封后,向部分成形的袋中填充液体。在一具体方面中,所述带材是无支撑的热塑性带材,利用脉冲加热将其密封,该袋填充有液态活性单体混合物,该混合物包括单体以及可任选的引发剂。
另一方面,所述带材是有支撑的带材。所述带材可以包括单块折叠片材或者两块独立的片材。
在优选的实施方式中,所述带材以总体上恒定的速度移动,并且所述夹具以基本上与所述带材相同的速度移动。
另一方面,本发明提供了一种由连续运动的可密封的细长带材生产袋的方法,所述带材包括相对的两片,每片都具有第一侧边和第二侧边,其中所述方法包括以下步骤:沿着至少一个侧边纵向密封所述带材;提供第一夹具支撑构件和第二夹具支撑构件,在这两个构件之间限定密封通道,所述夹具支撑构件包括多个协同操作的配对夹具,所述夹具以基本上与所述带材沿着所述密封通道的速度相同的速度移动;当所述带材沿着所述密封通道运动时,通过向介于一个配对夹具之间的带材施加热和/或压力,在所述带材中形成多个横向密封,其中至少一个所述夹具支撑构件包括可挠曲的非圆形输送机。在另一种实施方式中,另一个夹具支撑构件包括支撑多个夹具的圆柱形鼓状件。
另一方面,本发明提供一种用于由连续运动的可密封的细长带材生产袋的设备,所述带材包括相对的两片,每片都具有第一侧边和第二侧边,所述设备包括:第一密封装置,安装该密封装置以沿着所述带材的至少一侧边形成纵向密封,从而密封该边;和第二密封装置,安装该密封装置以在所述带材中形成多个横向密封,所述第二密封装置包括相对的两个输送机,在这两个输送机之间限定密封通道,所述输送机包括至少一个协同操作的配对夹具,安装所述夹具是为了使所述带材的两个相对侧表面沿着所述密封通道接合。
一方面,所述输送机及配套的夹具沿着相同的非圆环形通道移动,同时每个输送机组件相对于另一输送机组件以及运动的带材在固定位置保持静止。也就是说,所述输送机沿着限定的环行通道运动,但是相对于彼此、带材或者该机器的框架并不是往复的、平移的或者运动的。
在一个具体的方面中,该设备的至少一个输送机是可挠曲的且具有非圆形的移动通道。在另一具体的方面中,该设备的每个输送机包括多个夹具,这些夹具与另一输送机上的夹具协同操作,以形成配对的夹具。在更具体的方面中,该设备还包括至少一个填充管,安装该填充管是为了在限定袋底的至少一个横向密封成形之后并在限定袋顶的横向密封成形之前将液体注入所述袋中。
因为带材在袋的形成过程中不停止,所以本发明提供了连续运动的方法,其中带材、输送机和其它部件并不重复地启动、停止和再启动。另外,所述输送机沿着所限定的相同通道运动,但相对于彼此以及运动的带材是固定的。也就是说,输送机组件固定到该机器的框架上,没有向所述输送机提供往复运动或者平移运动。因此,显著减少了该机器的磨损,从而提高了该设备的可靠性和寿命。另外,由于带材连续运动,所以提高了整体的生产率。
另外,由于夹具连接到输送机上并由其驱动,所以它们以基本上恒定的速度移动,从而不需要速度补偿。本发明的另一个优点是,可以沿着密封通道同时设置多组接合的夹具,从而允许足够长的夹具接合时间,以形成连接相对带材的合适连结,从而提高生产率。本发明还提供在整个操作过程对带材的独立牵引控制,从而产生卓越的带材操作并在密封上产生最小的应力。
此外,由于本发明是连续运动的工艺,所以大大地降低了对尽可能地控制各部件和使各部件同步的需要。结果,不再依靠用于进行运动控制的气缸。本发明还增加了在横向密封形成过程中配对夹具接合的时间。例如,对于给定的输送机通道长度,该机器能够容易地获得比输送机通道长度的25%更长的密封通道长度。应当认识到,至少在理论上,可以达到输送机通道长度的50%的密封通道长度。这导致在密封过程中更好地控制带材应力。另外,所述夹具是可独立拆卸的,因此,允许随时安装并保持备用的夹具,所以,如果夹具作为修理或者日常维护的零件来更换,则可以将停机时间保持最低。提供可独立拆卸的夹具还允许快速转换,以适应不同尺寸的袋或者改变横向密封的几何形状。

具体实施方式
现在参照附图,其中在几幅附图中相同的附图标记指的是相同或者相应的零部件,图1-6示出了用于由带材4生产一连串6或者一网格8独立的密封袋6a-c的机器2。如图3a-c所示,一串6袋由单一一条对齐的独立地连接起来的袋6a-c构成,如图4所示,一网格8袋由两串或更多串平行的袋10a-d构成。
如图1和2所示,该机器2包括填充管12、放卷张力隔离牵引辊14、垂直密封装置16和水平密封装置18。该机器尤其适用于制造充液袋,比如填充液态单体混合物的袋,所述混合物可以聚合形成粘合剂。但是,该机器也可以用于一般目的的包装,并且可以用于生产容纳广泛的包括液体、粉末和/或离散物品的各种材料的密封袋。实施例包括形成充气袋,以生产例如泡沫包装、包装食品、包装消费物品(比如硬件、洗涤剂、洗发剂等)或者包装医疗器械或者电子元件。
带材4优选包括两片独立的热密封薄膜20,22。或者,带材4可以包括单片折叠薄膜。只要该薄膜能够被密封并还表现出具体应用中所需的性能,那么该具体的薄膜对此处的本发明来说并不重要。合适的薄膜包括由热塑性材料形成的膜,这些热塑性材料比如聚乙烯、乙烯共聚物(例如聚烯烃)及其衍生物,这些衍生物包括乙烯醋酸乙酯(EVA)、乙烯丙烯酸甲酯(EMA)、乙烯丙烯酸(EAA)、EAA离聚物和聚丙烯,以及其它热塑性材料,比如丙烯酸、聚苯醚、聚苯硫醚、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)、聚氨酯和本领域的技术人员所知道的其它热塑性材料。也可以应用热塑性材料的混合物。优选的薄膜是聚乙烯和EVA。该薄膜可任选地含有添加剂,比如纤维、阻燃剂、防粘连剂、导热颗粒、导电颗粒、抗静电剂、填料、抗氧化剂、稳定剂、增塑剂、染料、香料、增滑剂、微波感受剂(microwave susceptor)和/或用以提高薄膜的柔韧性、可操作性、可见性或者其它有用性能的其它材料。
带材可以是有支撑的或者无支撑的。有支撑的带材具有多层结构,所述多层结构包括比如热塑性薄膜的密封层,还包括在密封温度保持稳定的支撑层,比如一层经过处理或者未经处理的纸、织物、非织材料、聚酯或者金属(比如铝箔)。该支撑层可以是有孔的或者无孔的。有支撑的薄膜增强耐久性并且由于它们对氧气渗透和液体扩散的阻碍作用可以用于充液应用。无支撑的带材包括一层或者多层如上面讨论的那些可热密封的热塑性聚合物。
可以应用电阻加热密封或者脉冲加热密封来完成热密封带材,其中电阻加热密封使用在整个粘结周期中保持热状态的热金属棒,脉冲加热密封使用在整个粘结周期中在热和冷之间循环的电阻丝或者电阻带。利用脉冲加热,将该电阻丝加热到足够高的温度并连续足够长的时间,以沿着界面在两层带材之间形成粘结。然后使该电阻丝冷却,同时所述夹具保持接合以使粘结的热塑性塑料冷却并形成连接这两层带材的稳定密封。如果对无支撑的薄膜实施电阻加热密封,则在形成横向密封期间该薄膜会熔化,所述带材在需要密封的地方可能会被无意地切断。因此,脉冲电阻密封一般用于密封无支撑的带材以防止切断带材。应该认识到,可以应用其它的密封方法,包括使用粘合剂、超声波焊接、热空气冲击、比如卷边的机械连接方法以及它们的组合。
在本发明的一个具体应用中,该机器用于生产粘合剂。该机器2生产一连串6或者一网格8充有活性单体混合物的袋。这些袋由应用脉冲加热密封的无支撑的带材形成。应用无支撑的带材的一个优点是,在下游处理步骤中,带材本身可以与该袋的内容物混合,这在生产某些粘合剂时可能是所希望的。
带材4在两个涂胶的放卷张力隔离牵引辊14上进入该机器2,这两个牵引辊14隔离上游带材的张力,因此能够控制该机器内的张力。所述辊14相对于水平密封装置18以拖拉模式转动(即,所述辊14相对于输送机34,36以恒定速率转动),以隔离放卷张力、改善带材操作,并在带材进入密封通道38时设置相对带材长度。
然后带材4进入垂直密封装置16。该垂直密封装置16包括三对密封辊24a-c(图2),它们沿着带材4的每个边形成垂直(即纵向)密封26(图3和4),从而形成袋的侧边28。每对辊24a-c由包含环形凸起肋的从动控温钢辊24a’-c’和包含匹配的环形凸起肋的涂胶的空转辊24a”-c”构成。这些肋使得在垂直密封装置16中的三对密封辊24a-c之间留有安装填充管12的空间。每个从动辊24a’-c’相对于水平密封装置18以拖拉模式独立地被驱动,从而改善带材处理,所述带材处理包括密封几何形状、带材跟踪和带材拉伸。
应当认识到,其它已知的方法可以用于形成垂直密封,比如反复运动步进梁、电阻加热从动金属带、粘合剂、超声波焊接、热空气冲击、比如卷边的机械连接方法以及它们的组合。
为每串袋10a-d提供独立的液体填充管12,以将液体从储罐30运输到部分密封的袋31(图5)中。该部分密封的袋31包括纵向边密封26和横向密封32,所述纵向边密封26形成袋侧边28,所述横向密封32形成充满并完全密封的袋顶和连续的下一个部分密封的袋31的底。每个填充管12设有流量计和控制阀,以确保连续并可控的液流进入每个部分密封的袋31。该液体在经过放卷牵引辊14和垂直密封装置16之后供给到部分密封的袋31中。
根据本发明的特征,该机器2包括水平密封装置18,该水平密封装置18包括密封通道38,其中在带材4中形成限定每个袋6a-c端部的横向密封32。该横向密封32可以是(例如)水平的、斜的、弓形的、带尖角的、锯齿形的或者其它几何形状。应当认识到,可能会希望在相邻的袋之间形成两个这样的横向密封32,以允许在两个横向密封之间由横向切割打孔或者切口切断带材而将这些袋容易地分离成独立的填充袋或包。该水平密封装置18包括相对的第一可挠曲的非圆形输送机组件34和第二可挠曲的非圆形输送机组件36,在输送机34,36之间形成平的密封通道38,每个输送机组件包括连续的带或链55a,b,所述带或链用于绕着封闭的通道重复地传递或者输送密封夹具42。
输送机34,36至少沿着密封通道38,优选沿着输送机的整个通道,以基本上与带材4相同的速度输送这一个协同操作的配对夹具42。各输送机的相对速度也优选紧密地配合以使带材上的应力最小。但是,根据带材的材料,可能容许稍微偏离恒定的速度。例如,只要速度变化对该密封的完整性不产生有害影响,这种速度变化就是可容许的。
在所示出的实施方式中,输送机通道由齿轮51a,b和侧板57a,b限定。每个输送机34,36都支撑多个密封夹具42,它们协同操作以形成配对44,所述配对44使带材4的两个相对侧面沿着密封通道38咬合。输送机34,36及配套的夹具42沿着相同的非圆环形通道运动,而每个输送机组件相对于另一输送机组件以及运动的带材在固定的位置保持静止。也就是说,在该机器的运行期间,输送机34,36沿着所限定的环形移动通道运动,但它们彼此之间以及相对于带材或者该机器的框架并不是往复的、平移的或者运动的。
该密封通道38是介于输送机34,36之间邻近的边界,其从介于一对协同操作的夹具44之间的初始接合点46延伸到介于一对协同操作的夹具之间的分离点48。在密封通道38中,协同操作的夹具44咬合并与带材4的两个相对主表面一起保持配合关系。也就是说,该密封通道38是一个配对夹具沿着其运动的轨迹。沿着该密封通道38,一个配对夹具接合并在接合状态下移动一段距离。这与其中夹具仅仅互相接触但并不在接触的状态下沿着某一轨迹移动的机器不同,比如在密封形成过程中应用两个圆形辊的机器。应当认识到,利用某些带材粘结方法,比如其中热空气被导向带材对齐的相对表面的热空气冲击法,运行的接合并不需要夹具与带材的实际物理接触。
如图6所示,输送机36包括由动力传输系统53驱动的驱动齿轮51a,b。所述齿轮51a,b分别连接并驱动一对链条55a,b,这一对链条形成该输送机36的侧面轮廓。多个夹具42安装在链条55a,b上并在其间横向延伸。在密封通道38内,链条55a,b随动并由垂直侧板57a,b支撑,这就允许链条55a,b及配套的夹具沿着限定的环形通道运动。
在输送机36上的每个夹具42包括电阻加热元件,比如镍铬脉冲密封元件或者丝59,所述元件加热带材并将其密封在一起,从而形成横向密封32,该密封丝59沿着密封通道38在热和冷之间循环。利用脉冲加热,该丝59升温到足够高的温度并保持足够长的时间,从而在两层带材之间形成粘结。然后该丝59冷却,而夹具42保持接合,以使得粘结的热塑性塑料冷却并在两层带材之间形成稳定的横向密封32。该脉冲密封丝59由外部固定脉冲控制器(未示出)供电。利用由传统的集电环组件构成的旋转接头61将电流输送到每根脉冲密封丝59。该集电环组件的旋转部分61由驱动齿轮51a的同一动力传输系统53驱动。除了第二输送机34支撑与脉冲密封丝的加热部分相配合并重叠的、涂胶的弹簧夹具之外,第二输送机34与第一输送机36类似。
应当认识到,可以根据需要改变在每个输送机34,36上夹具42的数目,并且在每个输送机上夹具的数目可以相同或者不同。另外,可包括嵌齿的V形带可以替代链条55a,b。
图7示出了本发明的一种替换实施方式,其中功能相似的特征件用相同的附图标记增加100来表示,本发明的这种实施方式包括填充管112、放卷张力隔离牵引辊114、垂直密封装置116和水平密封装置118。除了在水平密封装置118中,图2的第一输送机34用支撑多个夹具142的圆形鼓状件152代替并且第二输送机136的通道被调整为与该鼓状件152的表面相匹配之外,本发明与上面参照图2中描述的发明类似。因此,该密封通道138是弓形的而不是平的。
很明显,对于本领域的技术人员来说,在不背离本发明上述发明思想的情况下,可以作各种改变和修改。因此,本发明的范围不应该限制于在本申请中所描述的结构,而应该仅仅由权利要求的语言所描述的结构以及那些结构的等同结构来限定。
Claims (7)
1、一种制造粘合剂的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
(a)提供连续运动的、无支撑的、可热密封的细长热塑性带材;
(b)沿至少一个侧边纵向密封所述带材,从而形成具有密封侧边的细长筒;
(c)提供第一夹具支撑构件和第二夹具支撑构件,在所述两个夹具支撑构件之间限定密封通道,所述夹具支撑构件包括多个协同操作的配对夹具,所述夹具以基本上与所述带材沿着所述密封通道的速度相同的速度移动,其中至少一个所述夹具支撑构件包括可挠曲的非圆形输送机;
(d)在所述带材沿着所述密封通道移动时,通过将所述带材夹持在一个配对夹具之间并通过加热所述带材使所述片粘结起来而在所述带材中形成第一横向密封,从而形成具有密封侧边、密封底和开口顶的部分成形袋;
(e)用可聚合的液态单体混合物填充所述部分成形袋;
(f)在所述带材沿着所述密封通道移动时,通过将所述带材夹持在一个配对夹具之间并通过加热所述带材使所述片粘结起来而在所述带材中形成第二横向密封,从而密封所述部分成形袋的顶部;
(g)使所述液态单体混合物聚合;以及
(h)将所述聚合的液体与所述带材混合,从而形成粘合剂。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述纵向密封通过垂直密封装置形成,所述垂直密封装置包括多个密封辊。
3、如权利要求2所述的方法,其中所述密封辊以牵引模式运转,从而在所述纵向密封形成之前及其形成期间所述带材保持处于拉伸状态。
4、如权利要求3所述的方法,其中进入所述密封通道的所述带材在横向密封形成期间是松弛的并且未处于拉伸状态。
5、如权利要求4所述的方法,其中所述带材选自由聚乙烯、乙烯共聚物、乙烯醋酸乙酯(EVA)、乙烯丙烯酸甲酯(EMA)、乙烯丙烯酸(EAA)、EAA离聚物、聚丙烯、丙烯酸、聚苯醚、聚苯硫醚、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)、聚氨酯及它们的混合物组成的群组中。
6、如权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述单体混合物包含单体和引发剂。
7、如权利要求6所述的方法,其中所述横向密封通过脉冲密封形成。
