Description
Claims (8)
- アレイ導波路型回折格子と、
前記アレイ導波路型回折格子に接続された2段ラティス回路と
を備える光波長合分波回路であって、
前記アレイ導波路型回折格子は、
アレイ導波路と、前記アレイ導波路の両端に接続された第1のスラブ導波路および第2のスラブ導波路と、前記第2のスラブ導波路に接続された出力導波路とを備え、
前記2段ラティス回路は、前記第1のスラブ導波路の前記アレイ導波路と接続されていない他端に接続された第1の光カプラと、前記第1の光カプラに接続された第1のアーム導波路および第2のアーム導波路と、前記第1のアーム導波路および前記第2のアーム導波路の前記第1の光カプラと接続されていない他端に接続された第2の光カプラと、前記第2の光カプラに接続された第3のアーム導波路および第4のアーム導波路と、前記第3のアーム導波路および第4のアーム導波路の前記第2の光カプラと接続されていない他端に接続された第3の光カプラと、前記第3の光カプラに接続された入力導波路とを備え、
前記2段ラティス回路の光周波数周期は、前記アレイ導波路型回折格子の光周波数チャネル間隔と、前記光周波数チャネル間隔を1/2倍した周期とを含むことを特徴とする光波長合分波回路。 - 前記第1の光カプラの結合率が50%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光波長合分波回路。
- 前記第2の光カプラの結合率が50%であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光波長合分波回路。
- 前記第3の光カプラの結合率が20%以下であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光波長合分波回路。
- 前記第1のアーム導波路と第2のアーム導波路との光路長差、および、前記第3のアーム導波路と第4のアーム導波路との光路長差によって規定される光周波数周期が、前記アレイ導波路型回折格子の光チャネル間隔に一致していることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路。
- 前記第1のアーム導波路と前記第2のアーム導波路との光路長差によって規定される光周波数周期が、前記アレイ導波路型回折格子の光周波数チャネル間隔に一致し、
前記第3のアーム導波路と第4のアーム導波路との光路長差によって規定される光周波数周期が、前記アレイ導波路型回折格子の光周波数チャネル間隔の1/2であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路である第1の光合分波回路と、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路において、前記第1のアーム導波路と前記第2のアーム導波路との光路長差の値の正負、および、前記第3のアーム導波路と前記第4のアーム導波路との光路長差の値の正負を反転すると共に、前記第1の光カプラと前記第1及び第2のアーム導波路との間に交差導波路を配置して、前記第1の光合分波回路と透過波形が等しく波長分散が反転している光合分波回路である第2の光合分波回路と
を同一の光モジュール内に同数用いることを特徴とする光モジュール。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路である第1の光合分波回路と、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光波長合分波回路において、前記第1のアーム導波路と前記第2のアーム導波路との光路長差の値の正負、および、前記第3のアーム導波路と前記第4のアーム導波路との光路長差の値の正負を反転すると共に、前記第1の光カプラと前記第1及び第2のアーム導波路との間に交差導波路を配置して、前記第1の光合分波回路と透過波形が等しく波長分散が反転している光合分波回路である第2の光合分波回路と
を同一の伝送区間内に同数用いることを特徴とする光通信システム。
