Description
さらに、特許文献5および6の鋼材はCrを0.2〜5%、特許文献7の鋼材はCrを0.5〜3.5%と比較的多く含有しているため、いずれも溶接性および溶接部靱性に問題がある他、製造コストが高くなるという問題があった。
(a)塗膜欠陥部での錆層が海水に含まれる塩化物イオンに対する保護皮膜となることが有効である。
はじめに、本発明の鋼の化学成分を規定した理由を説明する。なお、成分%は、全て質量%を意味する。
Cは鋼材強度を上昇させるのに有効な元素であり、所望の強度を得るために0.01%以上の添加が必要であるが、0.20%を超えて添加すると、溶接熱影響部の靱性を低下させるため、C量は0.01〜0.20%の範囲とする。好ましくは0.05〜0.15%の範囲である。
Siは脱酸剤として、また鋼材の強度向上を目的として添加される元素であり、0.05%以上の添加が必要であるが、0.50%を超えて添加すると、鋼の靱性を劣化させるので、Si量は0.05〜0.50%の範囲とする。
Mnは熱間脆性を防止し鋼材の強度向上に有用な元素であるので、0.1%以上の添加が必要であるが、2.0%を超える添加は、鋼の靱性および溶接性を低下させるので、Mn量は0.1〜2.0%の範囲とする。
Pは鋼の母材靱性のみならず、溶接性および溶接部靱性を劣化させる有害な元素であるので極力低減することが望ましい。特に、P量が0.025%以下を超えると、母材靱性および溶接部靱性の低下が大きくなるのでP量は0.025%以下とする。
Sは鋼の靱性および溶接性を劣化させる有害な元素であるので、極力低減することが望ましく、S量は0.01%以下とした。
Alは脱酸剤として作用し、このためには0.005%以上の添加を必要とするが、0.10%を超える添加は、溶接金属部の靱性を低下させるので、Al量は0.005〜0.10%の範囲とする。
Nは靱性に対して有害な成分であり、靱性の向上を図るためにはできるだけ低減することが望ましいが、工業的には0.001%未満に低減することは難しい。一方N量が0.008%を超えると靱性の著しい劣化を招く。よってN量は0.001〜0.008%の範囲とした。
Caは、硫化物の形態を制御して鋼の靱性向上に寄与する元素である.このような効果を発揮させるためには、少なくとも0.0005%添加する必要があるが、過度に添加すると、粗大な介在物を形成し母材の靱性を劣化させるので、Ca量は0.0005〜0.0040%の範囲とした。
WおよびMoはジンクリッチプライマー塗膜が存在しない状態でも、エポキシ系塗膜の存在下で耐食性を顕著に向上する。WおよびMoが耐食性向上効果を呈する理由は、湿潤状態にある際に、錆層中にWO4 2−およびMoO4 2−の酸素酸を形成させる元素のためである。
WO4 2−は錆層中に存在することで、塩化物イオンを電気的に反発し、塩化物イオンが地鉄表面にまで侵入することを防ぐことで、塗装耐食性を向上させる。さらに、WO4 2−が地鉄表面へ吸着することで、地鉄表面で塩(たとえばFeWO4)および酸化物(たとえばWO3)を形成し、地鉄の腐食が抑制される。前記の塩および酸化物の存在量をこれらの塩および酸化物が生成するのに必要な量のWO4 2−に換算した場合、地鉄の単位表面積あたりの存在量として定義されるWO4 2−の濃度が0.005mol/m2未満であると、腐食を促進させてしまう。高濃度にすると効果が飽和するため、前記の塩および酸化物の存在量をこれらの塩および酸化物が生成するのに必要な量のWO4 2−に換算した場合の濃度を0.005mol/m2〜0.5mol/m2の範囲とした。
SbおよびSnには、鋼板表面のアノード部などpHが低い部位での腐食を抑制する効果がある。この効果は、いずれも0.001%以上の添加で発現するが、0.3%を超えて添加すると母材靱性および溶接熱影響部靱性を劣化させるため、Sb量は0.001〜0.3%、Sn量は0.001〜0.3%の範囲とする。
Cu、NiおよびCrは、いずれも鋼の焼入れ性を高める元素であり、圧延後の強度アップに直接寄与するので、必要に応じて添加する。過度の添加は靱性や溶接性を劣化させるため、上限をCuは0.35%、Niは0.40%、Crは0.20%とする。一方、添加量が0.01%未満ではその効果が現れないため、0.01%以上の添加とする。従って、Cu量は0.01〜0.35%、Ni量は0.01〜0.40%、Cr量は0.01〜0.20%の範囲とする。
Ti、Nb、Zr、Vはいずれも、鋼材強度を高める元素であり、必要とする強度に応じて選択して添加することができる。このような効果を得るためには、Ti、Nb、Zrは0.001%以上、Vは0.002%以上を添加する必要がある。しかしながら、Tiは0.030%を超えて、Nbは0.030%を超えて、Zrは0.1%を超えて、Vは0.2%を超えて添加すると靱性が低下するため、 Ti量は0.001〜0.030%、Nb量は0.001〜0.030%、Zr量は0.001〜0.1%、V量は0.002〜0.2%の範囲とする。
Bは、鋼材の強度を高める元素であり、必要に応じて添加することができる。その効果を得るためには、0.0002%以上添加することが好ましいが、0.003%を超えて添加すると靱性が劣化する。よって、B量は0.0002〜0.003%の範囲とする。
REM、Mg、Yはいずれも溶接熱影響部の靱性向上に有効な元素であり、必要に応じて添加することができる。その効果を得るためには、REM、Mg、Yいずれも0.0001%以上の添加が必要であるが、REMは0.015%を超えて、Mgは0.01%を超えて、Yは0.1%を超えて添加すると、靱性の低下を招くので、REM量は、0.0001〜0.015%、Mg量は、0.0001〜0.01%、Y量は、0.0001〜0.1%の範囲とする。
Se、Te、Coは、鋼材の強度を高める元素であり、必要に応じて添加することができる。その効果を得るには、Se、Teはそれぞれ0.0005%以上、Coは0.01%以上添加することが好ましいが、Se、Te、Coは、いずれも0.50%を超えて添加すると靱性や溶接性が劣化するため、Se量は、0.0005〜0.50%、Te量は、0.0005〜0.50%、Co量は、0.01〜0.50%の範囲とする。
ただし、本発明の効果を害しない範囲内であれば、上記以外の成分の含有を拒むものではないことは勿論である。
次に、本発明に係る耐食鋼材の好適な製造方法について説明する。
Claims (10)
- 質量%で、C:0.01〜0.20%、Si:0.05〜0.50%、Mn:0.1〜2.0%、P:0.025%以下、S:0.01%以下、Al:0.005〜0.10%、N:0.001〜0.008%、Ca:0.0005〜0.0040%を含有し、さらに、W:0.005〜0.5%、Mo:0.005〜0.5%の中から選ばれる1種または2種を含有し、残部がFe及び不可避不純物からなる鋼材の表面にWO4 2−および/またはMoO4 2−から形成される塩および酸化物を含む錆層を有し、該錆層に存在する塩および酸化物をWO 4 2− および/またはMoO 4 2− に換算した場合、該WO 4 2− の濃度が0.005〜0.5mol/m 2 および/または該MoO 4 2− の濃度が0.005〜0.5mol/m 2 であることを特徴とする耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、Sb:0.001〜0.3%、Sn:0.001〜0.3%のうちから選ばれる1種または2種を含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、Cu:0.01〜0.35%、Ni:0.01〜0.40%、Cr:0.01〜0.20%の中から選ばれる1種または2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、Ti:0.001〜0.030%、Nb:0.001〜0.030%、Zr:0.001〜0.030%、V:0.002〜0.2%の中から選ばれる1種または2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、B:0.0002〜0.003%を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、REM:0.0001〜0.015%、Mg:0.0001〜0.01%、Y:0.0001〜0.1%の中から選ばれる1種または2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- さらに、質量%で、Se:0.0005〜0.50%、Te:0.0005〜0.50%、Co:0.01〜0.50%の中から選ばれる1種または2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- 前記鋼材の表面にエポキシ系塗膜を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- 前記鋼材の表面にジンクリッチプライマー塗膜を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れかに記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
- 前記ジンクリッチプライマー塗膜の外表面側にエポキシ系塗膜を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の耐食性に優れた船舶用鋼材。
