Claims (2)
- 水蒸気と炭素含有装入原料とからなる混合物を水蒸気改質によって転化するための反応器筒体で囲まれた反応室と、水蒸気改質に際して生成される水素を反応室内の水素分圧よりも低圧で且つ前記筒体外部の水素分圧よりも高圧のもとに通過させることにより水素の純度を高めて反応室から連続的に導出可能な少なくとも複数の区画毎に水素選択透過性を有する仕切壁とを備えた水素生成装置において、仕切壁の水素選択透過性の複数の区画が、各区画のそれぞれ全面に亘って反応室側と水素導出側との間で水素分圧勾配が生じるように配置されており、
前記仕切壁は、複数の仕切管からなり、
前記複数本の仕切管は、径方向外側に位置するものほど円形に配置される本数が増加すると共に短くなることを特徴とする水素生成装置。 - 前記仕切壁の水素選択透過性の区画が、パラジウム、パラジウム−金合金、又はパラジウム−銀合金からなる膜によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
