Description
Claims (22)
- 複数の食品または飲料コンパートメントを冷却する方法であって、
(a)前記コンパートメントの全てに共通したダクトを有するダクト系を介して、前記コンパートメントの各々内で冷気を第1方向に向けるステップであって、前記コンパートメントの各々は、完全に囲まれた容積を有し、前記ダクト系の個々の開口部に対応した2つの開口部を有する、ステップと、
(b)ステップ(a)の後に所定の時間間隔待機した後、前記冷気の流れが前記第1方向に流れるのを阻止するステップと、
(c)ステップ(b)の後に、前記コンパートメント内で冷気を、前記第1方向と実質的に反対である第2方向に向けるステップと、
(d)ステップ(c)の後に、前記冷気の流れが前記第2方向に流れるのを阻止するステップと、
(e)ステップ(d)の後に、ステップ(a)を繰り返すステップと、
を含み、
前記第1方向と前記第2方向との間で前記冷気の流れを反転させることは、第1弁および第2弁を備える弁機構の動作のみにより実現され、各弁は、空気が前記第1方向に流れるのを可能にする第1位置と、前記空気が前記第2方向に流れるのを可能にする第2位置とを有する、
方法。 - 前記第1方向が、前記コンパートメントの頂部から前記コンパートメントの底部までであり、前記第2方向が、前記コンパートメントの前記底部から前記コンパートメントの前記頂部までである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)が、ダクト系の第1経路を通る前記冷気の流れを阻止することと、前記ダクト系の第2経路を下る前記冷気の流れの阻止を解除することとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)が、前記冷気を前記コンパートメントの第1開口部内に入りかつ前記コンパートメントの第2開口部から出るように向けることを含み、ステップ(c)が、前記冷気を前記コンパートメントの前記第2開口部内に入りかつ前記コンパートメントの前記第1開口部から出るように向けることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)が、前記冷気が前記第1開口部から漏出しないようにダクト系の一部を閉鎖することを含み、ステップ(d)が、前記冷気が前記第1開口部から入らないように前記ダクト系の別の一部を閉鎖することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)が、空気を冷却して前記冷気を生成することと、前記コンパートメントに接続されるダクト系の第1開口部に前記冷気を吹き込むことと、前記ダクト系の弁のセットを第1位置に移動させることとを含み、
ステップ(c)が、空気を冷却して前記冷気を生成することと、前記冷気を前記第1開口部内に吹き込むことと、前記弁のセットを第2位置に移動させることとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 食品または飲料を冷却する装置であって、
エアチラーと、
前記エアチラーから離隔した複数の収納筐体であって、該複数の収納筐体の各々がコンパートメントを画定し、かつ各々が前記コンパートメントと前記筐体の外部との間を空気が通るのを可能にする第1開口部および第2開口部を有する、複数の収納筐体と、
前記エアチラーにかつ前記第1開口部および前記第2開口部に結合されたダクト系であって、前記複数の収納筐体の各々に共通したダクトを有し、かつ、前記複数の収納筐体の各々の前記第1開口部および前記第2開口部と一対一で対応する個々の開口部を有する、ダクト系と、
第1弁および第2弁を備える弁機構であって、各弁が、空気が前記エアチラーから前記第1開口部内に流れ込み、前記コンパートメントの中央部分を通るのを可能にする第1位置と、所定の時間間隔待機した後、空気が前記第1開口部内に入らないようにするが前記第1開口部から漏出するのを可能にする第2位置とを有し、前記ダクト系を通る前記空気の流れは前記第1弁および前記第2弁によってのみ周期的に反転される、弁機構と、
を具備する装置。 - 前記コンパートメント内に配置された仕切りをさらに具備し、前記仕切りが、前記コンパートメントを上部と下部とに分割し、前記仕切りが、冷気が前記上部と前記下部との間で流れるのを可能にする切欠きを有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記収納筐体が頂部および底部を有し、前記第1開口部が前記頂部に近接して位置し、前記第2開口部が前記底部に近接して位置する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記ダクト系が、前記第1開口部に結合された分岐部を備え、前記弁が、前記第2位置にある時に前記分岐部を閉鎖する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記分岐部が第1分岐部であり、前記ダクト系が、前記第2開口部に結合された第2分岐部と、前記エアチラー、前記第1分岐部および前記第2分岐部に結合されたメインダクトとをさらに備える、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記弁の前記第1位置から前記第2位置への移動を周期的に起動する制御回路をさらに具備する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記弁が第1弁であり、前記弁機構が第2弁をさらに備え、前記第1弁が前記第1位置から前記第2位置まで移動するように、かつ前記第2弁が、空気が前記第1開口部から出ないようにする第1位置から空気が前記第1開口部から出るのを可能にする第2位置まで移動するように、信号を送信する制御回路をさらに具備する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記収納筐体が、完全に囲まれた容積である、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記筐体が、矩形であり、かつ6つの面で囲まれており、前記第1開口部および前記第2開口部が前記収納筐体の1つの面内にある、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記弁が、前記ダクトの共通部に位置する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記弁が、前記第1位置にあるとき、前記ダクトの前記共通部の第1部分において空気の流れを許容し、前記第2位置にあるとき、前記ダクトの前記共通部の前記第1部分において空気の流れを阻止する、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 食品または飲料を冷却するシステムであって、
筐体を備えるカート囲いと、
冷気を生成する冷却ユニットと、
前記冷気を搬送するダクト系と、
それぞれ第1構成および第2構成を有する第1弁および第2弁を備えた弁機構と、
少なくとも部分的に前記筐体内に配置された複数のカートであって、各カートが、コンパートメントを備え、前記コンパートメントが、完全に囲まれた容積を有し、かつ前記コンパートメントを前記ダクト系の一つの開口部に接続する第1開口部と前記コンパートメントを前記ダクト系の別の開口部に接続する第2開口部とを有する、複数のカートと、
を具備し、
前記ダクト系は、前記コンパートメントの全てに共通したダクトを備え、
前記弁機構が前記第1構成にある時、前記冷気が、前記複数のカートの各々の前記第1開口部内に入り、前記コンパートメントを第1方向に通過し、かつ前記複数のカートの各々の前記第2開口部から出るように経路を定め、所定の時間間隔待機した後、前記弁機構が前記第2構成となるように操作されて、前記冷気が、前記複数のカートの各々の前記第2開口部内に入り、前記コンパートメントを第2方向に通過し、かつ前記複数のカートの各々の前記第1開口部から出るように経路を定め、前記冷気の流れの前記第1方向から前記第2方向への周期的な反転は、前記第1弁および前記第2弁によってのみ行われる、システム。 - 前記弁機構が前記第1構成にある時と前記弁機構が前記第2構成にある時との時間間隔を制御する制御回路をさらに具備する、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間間隔が約2分〜約30分である、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記エアチラーによって生成される前記冷気が約0〜7℃の間の温度である、請求項20に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1開口部が各カートの頂部に近接し、前記第2開口部が各カートの底部に近接する、請求項18に記載のシステム。
