Claims (8)
- 車両フレーム(14,14’)の実質的に水平な軸の回りを旋回可能となるように留める設計がされた内端と、ホイールハブ(24)の下部に旋回可能に留められた外端と、を有する少なくとも1つの下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)と、
一端がホイールハブ(24)の上部に留められ、他端が車両の一部と旋回可能に接続されてフレームに固定された少なくとも1つの上部支持アーム(28,28’)とを備えた車両用ホイールサスペンションであって、
下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)の内端は、実質的に水平な軸(20)の回りを旋回する、対のロッカーアーム(18)の下アーム部(16)を経由して車両フレーム(14,14’)と旋回可能に接続するように設計され、
一方、上部支持アーム(28,28’)は、接続リンク(36,36’)を介して対のロッカーアーム(18)の上アーム部(34)と旋回可能に接続され、
前記対のロッカーアームは、前記上アーム部と前記下アーム部の間に位置する旋回可能接続点を有し、
前記接続リンクは、上部支持アーム(28,28’)と対のロッカーアーム(18)の上アーム部(34)の両方と旋回可能に接続され、
ホイールハブ(24)の圧縮動作の場合には、上部支持アーム(28,28’)は、接続リンク(36,36’)及びロッカーアーム(18)を経由して、内端及び下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)全体を内側へ移動させ、反発動作の場合には、それを外側へ移動させ、これらのことによりホイールハブ(24)の圧縮動作と反発動作の両方において、トラック幅の変更を最小限にすることを特徴とするホイールサスペンション。 - 前記下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)は、ホイールハブ(24)がニュートラルポジションである場合、車両フレーム(14,14’)から下外側へ斜めに傾けられ、このことにより高い車両地上高を提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 上部支持アーム(28,28’)の内端が、車両フレーム(14,14’)と旋回可能に接続されるように設計され、ニュートラルポジションにおいて、ホイールハブ(24)の上部旋回可能留め点(32)まで実質的に水平に延在することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 上部支持アーム(28)は、下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)より短いことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 車両フレーム(14)のロッカーアーム(18)の回転軸(20)は、前記フレームの上部支持アーム(28)の留め点(30)の実質的に垂直下方に位置することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1つに記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 前記下部ホイール運搬半径アーム(12)及び前記上部支持アーム(28)は、平面図において実質的にA形状であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1つに記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 前記上部支持アームは、マクファーソンタイプのバネ支柱(28’)として設計されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のホイールサスペンション。
- 前記バネ支柱(28’)は、少なくとも一端が車両フレーム(14’)と旋回可能に接続されるように設計されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のホイールサスペンション。
