Description
第1の実施形態に係る動力伝達装置は、自動車(車両)のエンジン(駆動源)による駆動力を車輪(駆動輪)に伝達又は遮断するためのものであり、図1及び図2に示すように、トルクコンバータ1と、発進変速クラッチ手段2と、ギア段クラッチ手段3と、制御手段4と、ギア段選択手段5とから主に構成されている。尚、図1は、本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置の主要部を表す縦断面図であり、図2は、同実施形態に係る動力伝達装置を模式化した模式図(概念図)を示すものである。
本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置は、第1の実施形態と同様、自動車(車両)のエンジン(駆動源)による駆動力を車輪(駆動輪)に伝達又は遮断するためのものであり、図8及び図9に示すように、発進変速クラッチ手段2’と、ギア段クラッチ手段3と、制御手段4と、ギア段選択手段5と、ダンパ機構18’とから主に構成されている。尚、図8は、本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置の主要部を表す縦断面図であり、図9は、同実施形態に係る動力伝達装置を模式化した模式図(概念図)を示すものである。また、第1の実施形態と同様の構成要素には同一の符号を付し、それらの説明を省略する。
本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置は、第1、2の実施形態と同様、自動車(車両)のエンジン(駆動源)による駆動力を車輪(駆動輪)に伝達又は遮断するためのものであり、図10に示すように、発進変速クラッチ手段2”と、ギア段クラッチ手段3’と、制御手段4と、ギア段選択手段5と、ダンパ機構18’とから主に構成されている。尚、図10は、本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置を模式化した模式図(概念図)を示すものである。また、第1、2の実施形態と同様の構成要素には同一の符号を付し、それらの説明を省略する。

Claims (5)
- エンジンの駆動力を車輪に対して任意タイミングで伝達又は遮断可能な発進変速クラッチ手段と、
該発進変速クラッチ手段とは別個に配設されるとともに、動力伝達系の途中における前記発進変速クラッチ手段と車輪との間に配設され、入力と出力とが所定のギア比に設定された複数のギア段クラッチ手段と、
車両の走行状態に応じて前記ギア段クラッチ手段の何れかを選択し、エンジンから前記車輪に対する動力伝達時のギア比を任意に設定し得るギア段選択手段と、
を具備した動力伝達装置であって、
前記ギア段クラッチ手段は、
交互に積層された駆動側クラッチ板及び被動側クラッチ板と、
当該駆動側クラッチ板及び被動側クラッチ板を選択的に圧接又は離間動作させるべく油圧で作動し得る油圧ピストンと、
を具備し、当該駆動側クラッチ板及び被動側クラッチ板が圧接して所定のギア比にて動力が伝達され得るよう構成されたことを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 前記ギア段クラッチ手段は、油圧ピストンの作動方向に応じて異なるギア比の駆動側クラッチ板及び被動側クラッチ板を選択的に圧接させ得るよう構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の動力伝達装置。
- トルク増幅機能を有するトルクコンバータを具備するとともに、前記発進変速クラッチ手段は、当該トルクコンバータの駆動伝達系を介して前記エンジンの駆動力を前記車輪に伝達させる第1クラッチ手段と、当該トルクコンバータの駆動伝達系を介さず前記エンジンの駆動力を前記車輪に伝達させる第2クラッチ手段とを有するとともに、車両の状態に応じて当該第1クラッチ手段と第2クラッチ手段とを任意選択して作動させ得る制御手段を具備したことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記発進変速クラッチ手段は、偶数段のギア段クラッチ手段と断続可能な偶数段用クラッチ手段と、奇数段のギア段クラッチ手段と断続可能な奇数段用クラッチ手段とを有することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記発進変速クラッチ手段は、時間経過に伴って動摩擦係数が連続的に低下する摩擦特性の摩擦材を有するとともに、前記ギア段クラッチ手段は、時間経過に伴う動摩擦係数が経過時間終期を除き前記発進変速クラッチ手段と略同等であり、且つ、経過時間初期の動摩擦係数よりも高いピークを経過時間終期に有したルースターテールを示す摩擦特性の摩擦材を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1つに記載の動力伝達装置。
